The elevator doesn't require a key card, which feels like a security risk. One morning, a Black man knocked on my door and wouldn't speak when I asked who it was, which was quite unsettling."

It was easy to find parking (at least during the winter when we went) and a multi-day bus pass is provided if you don’t want to drive or walk to downtown Banff. Only complaint is that the heater/AC unit is below the window and the air would hit the occupants of the bed closest to it. We worked about it by blocking the air with a chair."

Looking at the interior photos, there's even a separate room with a door where women slept together, which made it less inconvenient (though I didn't exclusively sleep in there myself, of course).
