GGuest UserIt was a great stay. The hotel was very clean and well decorated. It was convenient to eat around. It was about three kilometers away from the Liangshan Waterside scenic spot. The front desk service was warm and professional. Free Hanfu was provided for guests to take photos. The breakfast was also clean and rich in dishes. The millet porridge was very fragrant. The only drawback was that the room had a bit of a decoration smell. Fortunately, the window could be opened very large for good ventilation.

GGuest UserAfter scouring Trip.com, I found this hotel with incredible value for money! I stayed here for all five nights in Qufu, and it was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. I had checked out a few other places before deciding on this one. The accommodations are fantastic. There's a beautiful, well-lit courtyard in the center, and sunlight streams into the bedroom as soon as you open the door. The bedding was very clean, and I especially appreciated the excellent drinking water setup. The room has a direct-drinking dispenser that provides boiling water in three seconds, so no worries about kettle hygiene. The soundproofing in the bedroom is great, and even the curtains are double-layered, which is super friendly for those sensitive to light. I also highly recommend booking a room with a small balcony! It doesn't cost much more, and the room is huge, the bed is super big, and it even has a projector! For the same price, staying here is simply amazing! When you don't feel like going out, you can head to the bar and lounge area downstairs. They have billiards, karaoke, board games, and you can grab a drink – they have it all. According to the owner, the hostel has been operating for many years, and he even showed me a thick guestbook. If you're interested, you can flip through it and leave your own message. On the first day of my check-in, a kind front desk lady assisted me, and the owner helped me with my luggage. The overall stay was superb, and the hotel staff are very friendly. You can tell the owner if you need anything. If I get a chance to visit Qufu again, I'll definitely stay here! Regarding the location: Yan Temple is right across the street, making it one of the three closest hotels. To get to the snack street or Confucius Temple, you just need to scan a shared bike at the entrance, and you're there!

GGuest UserThe room was great and spacious. Even though it was a twin room, the beds were big enough for four people, including two older children. The hotel's ambiance is top-notch; honestly, you could spend half a day just exploring it. The style is charmingly antique. The food and beverage options were excellent. The barbecue at the Beer Garden was fantastic, and the Chinese food at Confucius Banquet was equally impressive. This was the most satisfying hotel of my trip to Shandong. There were a couple of drawbacks, however. I booked a drop-off service to the station, but when I checked in, they wrote down my phone number incorrectly. I wasn't notified until just before I was about to leave, and when I asked at the front desk, I found out they had swapped two digits. Luckily, I inquired, otherwise, I would have been delayed. The front desk also said it was only a 20-minute drive to the high-speed train station, but it actually took almost 40 minutes. It's definitely something to factor in for timing. Other hotels often include complimentary breakfast, but this one didn't. However, the Confucius Temple is right outside, and there are plenty of breakfast spots nearby.

GGuest UserOlder hotel, but still in pretty good condition. Nice quiet location. Breakfast OK. Must have the strongest coffee in China. Still, hotels providing toast without butter or margarine is a bit of a bugbear of mine, but a minor problem nonetheless. Shout out to the staff at this place who were all attentive, helpful and wonderfully pleasant. This hotel is about 1500m due South of the old town South Gate. To get to the hotel from the fast train station, take bus K01 (¥1) and get off at Datong Lu. Turn right for a hand made noodle restaurant at the intersection. Across the road is a popular McDonald's, and downstairs from that is a fully stocked supermarket. The 'san kong' sights start at the South Gate where you buy your thru ticke int. The temple and mansion are very interesting, and expect crowds. ¥7 for a Didi to the South Gate. The cemetery where 100k Kong people are buried is worth a look for the Confucius burial area. This area is only a 500m walk from the entrance. The whole wooded area is large, but you can skip the bus tour as they only stop at the main site anyway, and drive like Fangio through the rest. A slow three wheel open trike cost ¥10 back to the hotel

Suggestions: The tap water in Jinxiang is salty, and people from outside may not be able to use the tap water here to make tea. It is best to provide large bottles of bottled water (such as 1.25 liters). Also, most of the breakfast dishes have chili peppers, so it is recommended to increase the dishes without chili peppers.

The front desk brother is very warm and the service is sincere. When I first checked in, I introduced us to the surrounding environment. The proprietress is very nice and kind. The next morning, my son and I got up late and had breakfast time. I didn't expect the proprietress to leave us meals specially, eat in the stomach, warm in the heart, like 👍👍! On the first floor, you can relax and entertain, play billiards, chess, drink, chat, feel very comfortable, the stay experience is good, there is a taste of home, you can recommend it to friends 😇✌️
