"Montigo Nongsa Resort is a must go for a relaxing retreat in Batam to rest and recharge from the daily rush of City life. Just by simply being there, immersed in the beauty of white washed villas by the sea, you will feel like you're in Greece. Soaking in the scenic view all around you everywhere you go and vibes of a slower pace of life, all the stress slips away. In the resort, commuting is done using a buggy, or you can have a delightful walk discovering paths and scenic places not covered by the buggy. The villa is my beautiful cozy home for the retreat with its own Infinity pool giving me all time access to the magnificent sea view, sunset and cloudy skies overhead. I can lounge on the poolside bench for a sunbath watching the ferries and sea activities or admire the broad expanse of the dark cloudy skies overhead with planes flying above at night truly quietens one's spirit down in an amazing life by the sea. Adding sparks and highlights to the already perfect life here in Montigo Resort is the abundance of daily breakfast at Tadd's Restaurant. The staff here (including Sara and another gentleman staff whom I didn't ask for the name) are amazingly friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant breakfast experience for you. If you have booked recreation activities in advance, you would be pleasantly delighted that staff from the Recreation Club would be there at Tadd's before you come for breakfast to meet you and assure they will bring you to the Recreation activity after breakfast! Wow! What a seamless experience to make you feel so welcome and well taken care of! Thanks to Chyntia, Coco, Yoga, Wahid and Bruhan from the Recreation Club. Chyntia has thoughtfully planned the sequence of the activities when I booked several activities over a few days without fixed dates and time to allow easier booking depending on tidal conditions and other guests' bookings. You can try your hands at the Airsoft Gun. Coco from Recreation Club will guide you on the shooting techniques. As a first timer with Airsoft guns, I'm certainly pleased to have hit 2 targets using 30 pellets. Next is the kayaking. Yoga from Recreation Club will brief you on using the paddle and take photos and videos for you from the shore. Just paddle out to the peaceful sea and take in the entire landscape of Montigo Resort from the kayak. I'm also amazed at the opportunity to see a tiny flat crab clutching onto a floating cardboard raising one leg at me at sea! Another exciting adventure is the ATV! Wahid from the Recreation Club will help you get familiar to the ATV in no time and guide you on a tour to the dirt track and the nearby farm in the ATV if you choose the one hour session! Along the way, he will help take photos and videos to capture your memorable ATV journey. Lastly, you can opt for a 2 hour bike tour to 2 kampungs! Guided by Bruhan from Recreation Club, you will see the captivating rustic local life scenes, the nature and beach along the way. You will also see the mangrove village where paintball activity takes place. Bruhan will also take photos and videos for you when we pause for breaks. Thankfully, Bruhan brought along a bottle of mineral water for me for regular hydration during the tour! It totally skipped my mind to consider bringing water along! To ease the muscle soreness, end the day with a blissful soak in the Infinity pool or warm bathtub with an essential oil bath bomb. Breathe in the aromatic scent and relax. So much wonderful memories and delightful experiences at Montigo Nongsa Resort leaves me looking forward to more!"

"This is not my first visit to Turi Beach, and like every other time, I loved it. Turi Beach is not the most polished, glamorous resort, like you would find it on Bali or other islands, but it has its charm that is mostly appreciated by regulars. The breakfast is very good, plenty of choices, and an amazing panoramic view of the Straight. On the other side, you will see Malaysia, and to the left, Singapore. The Gazebos received new matraeses and head support cushions, and I totally loved these. I also used the restaurant several times, and everything is yummy, served with a big smile!"

"It’s our first trip to this resort and we are really impressed with the place. There is a free transfer from nongsapura ferry terminal to the hotel even when we arrived on the last ferry. All the hotel staffs we met are friendly and helpful even though some of them do not speak/understand english very well. We booked the room with sea view and the view is beautiful. Lounge has live band till 12 midnight as well. There’s also room service for food till 9pm and the food is nice. The complimentary breakfast spread is not too bad as well. We will definitely come again. My emails to them are also replied promptly."

"I booked this hotel because it was near the Sea adventure but v upset & disappointed that it was closed since Covid, not even updated in the website. Basically, nothing much to go near this hotel, except the beach there. The hotel staff was kind enough to shuttle us to Montigo resort when they learn of our situation. However, the facilities there are meant for those Montigo hotel guests & other visitors need to pay extra fees."

"Great first stay at Harris Resort Barelang! We were warmly welcomed by the staff. The kids had so much fun, especially in the foam pool — a big hit! The resort has a beautiful view and is very kid-friendly, with plenty of activities and space for families. Highly recommended for a relaxing family getaway. Will definitely come back!"

"There is a Harris free shuttle from Sekupang ferry terminal to hotel. The staff are all polite, friendly and smiling. Our room Is Harris Seaview, its on the first level, so its easy acces to go in and out of the room. We had breakfast for two days, and the food they serving is just ok, im ok with it because i dont eat much for breakfast, just egg n toast is fine with me. For dinner, we have to order ala carte. Waiting time for food if you order ala carte take some time. It happened for both two nights we order dinner. But over all evrything is nice. The staff at the bar are nice, and the staff at the buffet as well. My daughter enjoyed the pool so much."

"The tent-style room is relatively cozy, and listening to the sound of the waves at night is very helpful for sleeping. However, the drinking water provided is too little, and another bottle of water has to be purchased for 10 yuan. Toilet paper is not provided, and there are no slippers and hairdryers. Facilities: Apart from the rooms being okay, the plank road is a bit worn out and feels unsafe. The lake in the middle is actually not open for swimming. I suggest the boss to get a swimming pool to be more practical. It is really frustrating that you can't go into the sea or swim on the island. The sand on the beach is relatively fine, but it is covered with weeds and garbage. No one went for a walk on the beach for three days. The panoramic view and the publicity photos are too different. It has blue sky, white clouds and white sand beach. If you want to go there, you must know about it. What time is the best time to pick up the boat? Don't locate the hotel because there is no road to get there. (It is best to reserve a WhatsApp number. The hotel will inform you of the boating location and precautions one day in advance) Service: The service staff is quite enthusiastic. The island only provides breakfast, and the prices for ordering lunch and dinner are relatively affordable. Excluding the room fee, meals and massage, the extra cost is just over 1,000 RMB. The massage with oil is very comfortable and costs 100 RMB an hour. Overall, compared to other island tours, it is very cheap."

"We had an amazing 2 night stay at Nirup. 100% recommended resort! Yes, you'll have a rough ferry ride with lacking AC from Batam and there is not much to explore on the small island except a small beach and a few pretty stairs leading down from the hotel through a bit of jungle. However, the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly, the room is well designed, spacious and offers a wonderful view to surrounding islands, towards Singapore skyline as well as towards Batam. You can enjoy the sunrise from the beautiful breakfast area and the sunset from the pool and bar area. The in-house kitchen is fantastic, Pizza, Nasi Goreng, Salmon Rilettes were some of our highlights. The gym is among the best I've seen in any hotel (and I've been to a few). Right now there is still construction going on, so be prepared to hear some noise during the day. However because a direct line from Singapore is not currently available, you have a chance to enjoy a very private stay at this luxury resort. A big shout-out to the friendly staff and great chef(s)."

"A hidden gem island one shld venture for peace & relaxations. Atmosphere Villa in e middle if the Sea & Beach Front, Clear Sea, Peace & Ocean view serenity. Seabreez, Moonlight, Stars Gazing, Sunrise, Music systems outside u can play music, Dining , Beach Chair, Hammocks just outside ur rooms. Staffs Very Friendly, a shoutout to Mas Agung our F&B Butler, Mas Pandi, our Caretaker in the villa and also transports to the main beach. Ms Windy, e recep lady, Very attentive & accomodative staffs & the owner Mr Rey was there too and befriended in a frindly helpful positive vibes. Price Reasonable & Affordable Food - Breakfast inclusive & served daily @ e villa dining area outside ur room. Transport Car or Bike to reach here via up & down cliffs. 1hr + journey from Sekupang Ferry.. Inspite its hard accessibilty & journey, its just a worthy Exploration. From Villa to Vio Vio Beach, our caretaker will give us a ride @ no cost. - Can hire a car too fm them if u want to travel out to town with fees applicable.
