ZhuanjiaojiudaogaoerjieFirst off, the location is great, right by the sea, and not far from the station. The hotel itself is quite large, and it must have been a fantastic place when it was built in the 70s. Unfortunately, it's showing its age a bit now.
The room had a big window, making it very bright and comfortable to stay in.
However, the lack of room cleaning during my stay was a definite negative. At the very least, they should empty the trash; that's basic.
On the bright side, the hotel breakfast was delicious and well-prepared.

What a great place to stay. Warm welcome, great rooms and enhanced by listening to the fantastic Mousehole Mens Choir who practice in Paul Church every Monday and then continue in the pub. Slept like babies and then were greeted by the most cheerful and welcoming Mia who brightened our day and served us a wonderful breakfast. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Guest UserPerfect for solo traveller, the room is small and tidy. Have everything that you need. Prime location just 2 mins walk from the station.
They also have free breakfast in the morning which is full Cornish breakfast. Great value.

The room is small, it is very hot when it is sunny, there is no cooling equipment
We booked a quiet room half a year in advance. We made this request when we checked in. Because this hotel is on the main road next to the train station, the car is very noisy. The waiter actually said: You can't just walk in and pick the room. This attitude is very rare in the UK.

Guest UserThe hotel reception was clearly more golf club than hotel. The room was small, and there was a lack of attention to detail. There was a stain on the carpet, a blind that didn't fit the window so didn't keep the light out - curtains would make it feel a lot more cosy. The bathroom and shower were a bit tired. The cooked breakfast was good, but the rest of the selection was limited. Probably wouldn't stay again. The staff were friendly and helpful.
