If you're staying near de airport but want to stay in homely place, have a delicious dinner on one of the multiple delicious restaurants or bars in the area and relax, this is a great place. Staff is attentive, breakfast is simple in the traditional style, and rooms are clean and spacious.

Was welcomed by the very friendly Dark haired Desk Manager. She swiftly glanced at the colors of my outfit and assigned me a room that perfectly matches... I found out that later as it was a pleasant surprise, she guessed that I drink lots of tea, so she gave me a huge luxury tea kettle to take to my room, some people are emotional genuises! She figured I booked this hotel because of the name... So she explained to me the historic significance of Fium-Icino and it's incredible subtle multi-player Ed lesser relation to the famous Rubicon, which used to be called Fium-Icino until the rediscovery of the Rubicon.. It's like all the Great rivers know each other! She explained that the Rubicon became associated with Barracks populism and the Tiber became associated with Aristocratic democracy and later on Enjoying Catholicism. The Hotel itself sits on the mouth of Second tributary canal that fed the new port of old Rome, because the original Tiber last miles were full of it! If you must see the older river Port is a 15 minute walk south across until you reach the North banks across of Ostia. As that settled in my mind, she explained the Tiber significance Upstream Rome... Small boats used to go up the Tiber deep into Umbria. The thought of all that was amazing, due to the Hotel significance it will be renovated into an exclusive Luxury 5 star Hotel, will be all Stone like the Monolithic Limestone honed filled sink, but with stone cladding everywhere it will become prohibitively expensive luxury hotel, but for now it's still an excellent Transit hotel... A good 1 hour walk from the airport, especially at night, make a right and follow the river North Bank of the new Canal and you will reach the Hotel... You can't miss it.

The hotel is very close to the airport and is suitable for temporary transfers. There is free parking in the courtyard. The room is clean, the front desk service is warm, the hotel furnishings are elegant and artistic, and the breakfast is rich and exquisite. The only drawback is that the furnishings are old and the location is remote, and you can hear the roar of airplanes.

In the town next to the airport, it is very convenient to refuel and drive to the airport. There are many restaurants and bars about 500 meters away from the river. It is very convenient and the rooms are large. Recommended

The receptionist is very polite and talented . She care about all the Clients and she is very prepared around the area . Not even at Westin excelsior you receive. Attentions and consideration as from the evening shift receptionist . Hope you treasure her as much as we are pleased with her services . Room is tidy all functions and there is a very good restaurant Calle i conti near by . Good experience

Hi, don’t give me wrong, it’s not a bad hotel! Low score is not towards the hotel but to the FCO. I got a late arrival flight, and were mind set for a rip off taxi. Yet, I was in lieu but all of sudden told that I need to go to the other side to take a taxi, by the ground transportation control personnel. Yap, I obeyed and went there, and took a taxi. There we go! The start of the scam. 85 euro, I took that, no problem, since it was 1:00 AM, and I do respect people work that shift. I can see the scanner to charge on CC, but I was told I have to pay cash, which is also ok. I am not ready for that much cash, and we went to an ATM, and it didn’t work ofc since it’s an international transaction. So, I was asked for $150 for the total. Wait a minute, $150 = €85? I am at least an elementary graduate man, and I do know the math. After all the mouthwatering drying process, I was off the hook, by telling I don’t mind to be offloaded and got police attended. Finally, I checked in the hotel 2:00 AM or so and by then I started the good time. Nice front desk, and more than expected room space. The location is not really good, but the scenery is perfect. The breakfast is a good start, and once I decided I will go to Rome by public transportation, I do find the option. That’s the story: no complain to the hotel, but not feeling so well with FCO. Overall, do money change as more than you thought before you are in Rome.

I am very satisfied with the small, lovely, clean room for one person. The only thing is that in the room there is no hairbrush, no toothbrush, no toothpaste, no slippers to wear in. home. I was also very satisfied with the hotel owner's service attitude. It's just that I couldn't call them to open the door for me after the scheduled time I had set. In the end, I had to ask a kind neighbor to dial the phone number to call the hotel owner to instruct me to open the door.
