Beach Hotels in Durban

I recently had the pleasure of having my parents stay at this incredible hotel, and I must say, their experience was absolutely exceptional! From the moment they arrived, they were treated to five-star magic with impeccable service, helpfulness, and reliability. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make their stay unforgettable. Their room was absolutely beautiful, clean and what a breathtaking view of the ocean! Truly amazing and relaxing stay - a home away from home in an abundance of excellence! The sound of the ocean and balcony view was one of many highlights that made this stay truly unforgettable! The food was exquisite, with dinner and breakfast being another highlight of their stay. But what truly made their experience special was the attention to detail and the way the hotel celebrated their anniversary in grandeur. The gifts, chocolates, flowers, and balloons were a lovely touch that made the occasion truly unforgettable. My parents were blown away by the hotel's excellence and the staff's dedication to providing a memorable experience. They left with lifelong memories and can't wait to return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable stay. Five stars isn't enough – this hotel deserves a glowing review!

Really clean hotel Very friendly staff Out door pool Gym was smaller but well equipped and super clean In a shopping development with lots of restaurants but closed around 8pm. Had to get an Uber to the area of town that opens later with bars and more restaurants. Lots of Ubers avaiable and very affordable so not really an issue.

Back to Durban, in fact, it is currently two families living back and forth. I personally like to cook and eat by myself, and I can't eat white rice, so if I bring a kitchen, the optional range is very small. This homestay is not bad. I am familiar with the landlord Helen, and their white couple are very good. Someone cleans it every day. This is basic. The room can see the sea, so the view is not bad. The disadvantage is that it is indeed a homestay, and the facilities are not new. The light is a bit dim at night. Nothing else Advantages: Close to the gateway, and the security of umhlanga is very good. The summary is very good

A good place to be with a beautiful view.... ”The View” as its name . Closer to a shopping complex , gas station, 5min drive to the beach, closer to the beach there also restaurantswhere you can dine whole having the beach view, Toti Beach. its also closer to galleria Mall. The place is too steep so be ready for that... Their food is delicious, we had dinner there at their restaurant called Giorgios but its expensive I must say. Not sure about their breakfast and lunch though. Staff and reception is just ok. I had requested them to add a crib bed for a child and upon arrival they told us that the storeroom is closed because we arrived at 6pm so it's too late. We then asked them to give us atleast a bedsheets or any linen so we can make a plan for our son, they said ok but never pitched , nothin, not even getting back to us to say what could be the matter. We asked again the following day, they took four hours to bring a bedsheets. Bottom line is if you have a child do not, I repeat DO NOT book that place because they will lie straight to your face saying they could not reach you since you booked via an APP. I'm not sure whetherI want to talk about their kitchen in the rooms. You will have to call them now and again to bring things and they take 3 to 4hours just for a simple thing like a spoon. One thing I can say is they don't listen and listening means you respect your business and your clients I flew from overseas to rest and have a good time and have treat ourselves since they have a spar but I ended up canceling my plans for a spa because I didn't want additional dissapointments. The rest I don't even want to mention...and that is my experience after paying so much Money and looking forward to a good vacation 😌 BUT...

The Beverly Hills is and always has been a wonderful experience. Staff are above and beyond in their service. Rooms overlook the sea and have spectacular sunrise and sunsets. All meals are exceptional, breakfast on the terrace with its amazing buffet is a delight to start the day.

First time in South Africa, first time in Durban on business, the hotel recommended by a South African friend, 30 kilometers from the airport, about 10 minutes drive from Durban Port. The location is quite convenient, there is a supporting entertainment city, dining, movies, ** next to the hotel, and the internal passage connects to the first floor of the hotel. It takes 3 minutes to walk to the Sunshine Coast Beach. The sea view room I booked is a little compact, enough for one person, but it may be a little small for two people. Traditional British hotel service, clean and tidy environment, civilized and polite black waiters, especially for Chinese people, the hotel service here is impressive.

Good location , next to the see , big room and was cleanThe breakfast was delicious .A good welcome at the reception. They back up generator when there is load shedding. I enjoyed my stay there.

I spent my birthday at the Balmoral hotel 24th April to 28th April 2926. It was absolutely fantastic. I met such helpful staff including thir Managers each one was friendly and kind. The hotel is old fashioned but feels so homely and comfortable. If you need anything to be sorted out just ask and the staff are very efficient. Breakfast was nice they have a range of items you can choose from . Tea cups should be a bit bigger 😋 Thanks once again for a lovely stay

It is a very beautiful, neat, clean more that what we expected, we enjoyed our stay there and I certainly going to the same place for our next vacation. The service was out of very good, unfortunately we ddnt get the chance to eat there.but next time we make sure we do 😊😊😊
