"Easy to get to for my onward trip the next day. Access to other parts of the hotel, swim, spa, steam room. Restaurant was good, just a slight hitch with food coming out together."

Crazy Bear Beaconsfield

"Absolutely terrible hotel and service. I would NOT be going back here and would advise you to stay away. The service is absolutely atrocious… upon arriving and checking in we had to wait 22 mins to just be shown our room which is unacceptable. I don’t get why the lady made us wait so long. Then we asked for a bucket with ice and some glasses twice and nothing turned up. We still didn’t get them the next day so gave up. Went for dinner in the evening and was served cold steak and upon mentioning it to the server he tells me the kitchen cooked it and then left it to be cooled down…. Since when do you serve cold steak?? And then when checking out the lady was so so rude like I told her to come to work. If she doesn’t want to be there then she shouldn’t but I’m not gonna accept being spoken to in such a rude and abrupt manner like she’s doing me a favour. All she wanted to do was what’s app as I could see on her phone. The snug room is very very small and hardly any space to move around or space to put anything anywhere. Bathroom is tiny and again no where to put your toiletries so seems weird that don’t think about these things. Yea room was clean and beds were comfy but overall the experience was terrible and as a frequent traveler all over the world I would be staying back here!!"

"Had a lovely stay at the crazy bear hotel. The only negative thing I would say is the lighting was very low in the room with not many lights which caused a headache. They was also very limited plug sockets and the floor was a polished leather texture which causes it to be very slippery."

"I would like to recognise Kul for the outstanding service she consistently provides. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Her positive attitude and attention to detail made a real difference to my stay and created an excellent first impression of the hotel. Kul went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, always taking the time to help with any questions or requests. What stood out most was her genuine care for guests—nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and she handled every interaction with patience, kindness, and professionalism. She has a natural ability to make guests feel valued and comfortable, and her dedication to delivering exceptional customer service is clear in everything she does. Staff members like Kul are a huge asset to Premier Inn and play a significant role in creating such a positive guest experience. Thank you, Kul, for your hard work, friendly approach, and commitment to excellence. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and you truly deserve recognition for the fantastic job you do every day."

Holiday Inn Express ST. ALBANS - M25, JCT.22 by IHG ★★★
"Located strategically next to a shopping precinct with walking distance. All goods from check in to check out process. The only exception is the hand wash tap in the bathroom been installed too far from the basin and it’s indeed difficult to use and water splashing all over. The other issue is leaking out from the bathroom after every shower. Room became cramp after the sofa bed setup for sleep. Breakfast is good but suggest they should alternate the menu with more variety. Otherwise, we been bored with the offering after stayed in for 6 nights"

Hunton Park Hotel ★★★
"The hotel is definitely accessible by car, as it's quite far from the city center, located outside Watford. The actual hotel entrance and rooms are in a nicer building at the back, specifically designed for weddings and events. Holding your wedding here and staying at the hotel would be a fantastic experience, or you could consider staying here if you're visiting the Harry Potter area."
