very small room, different from pictures. old building. poor breakfast, they dont even have water! not recommendable...

Location was the most advantageous thing about this hotel. Staff was really nice and friendly. Bed was not big enough though from family members. Good for single and backpack travellers.

Old facility. Broken toilet seat and flush. Wifi very difficult to access. Breakfast horrible (charged $15 pax).

Old school hotel at great location. Peking Duck restaurant on second floor is a must try!

The location of the hotel is great, with many shops nearby and a small market right in the hotel lobby. The service was okay, but although they mentioned a delivery service in their description, it wasn’t actually provided. Our room was on the 11th floor, and every time I ordered food delivery, I had to pick it up from the table in the lobby designated for deliveries. They only provided one room key, which was required to use the lift. So, whenever I went down to pick up food, my parents were left in the room, and the electricity would turn off after a while without the key card. No deposit was required during our check in which I think they need to update that on the hotel check in details. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay.

The location and room are excellent. Very near subway, food and mall. However, room keeping still has room for improvement but still acceptable nevertheless. Breakfast however still has plenty of room for further improvements.

Location is awesome but room and service is hard if you are not chinese speaker. Its very hard to communicate through some translation app thou. Otherwise its kinda good but old hotel.

Service was fantastic - they sent me up to an uncleaned room by accident and then gave me a nicer room and gave me a fruit platter as service recovery. Very impressed! There was no aircon as it was not time yet, but the room wasn’t too warm at 26 degrees so it was alright.

Good location but hotel is quite old so cleanliness is subpar. Value for money if you don't mind the cleanliness.

Hotel needs a renovation urgently, this what i can say

The north hotel is too old. the washbasin was broken and stay in the hotel not good for families.

The hotel is in a really good location near Wangfujing and Tian’anmen square. The breakfast was quite good. The problem is the hotel is a bit old, so all the furnitures feel too old. In the bathroom, the water pressure is not really good and you cannot move the shower head. The biggest problem was the temperature, our room was not facing the street, but the center of the building were there was a sort of glass ceiling so it was really hot even with opening the windows. Because it was in April, there was not air conditioning either.

Location is good. Room furniture are old. Breakfast buffet is average. There is no topping up of food after 9am. The breakfast didn't open at 7am sharp so my family had to forgo the breakfast when we joining some land tours.
