The facility is very well equipped and we had so much to do. Personally, I spent a lot of time at the pool and in front of the beach, but also spent time practicing tennis, went to gym, to balance the good amount of eating and drinking there. There’s also a pool table (although I feel it needs better equipment), a club, a cafe, a healthy eating cafe and so much more. We had a good time overall

My family and I became ill for the duration of our stay, likely due to something we ate or drank. By the end of the trip, we were only consuming bottled water, canned drinks and bread and rice. Unfortunately, this made the vacation quite unpleasant, as we were frequently unwell and had to make constant trips to the bathroom. We were there to attend a wedding, and many other guests reported experiencing similar symptoms.
Additionally, the air conditioning in our room was barely functional—room temperatures stayed around 24.5 to 25°C most days, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. We've stayed at other Dreams resorts in the past, but this one was, by far, the most disappointing.
While the lobby was beautiful, the kids club was great, and the pool was spacious, these positives were overshadowed by the overall experience. The restaurant food was just average, and the buffet options were lacking in both freshness and variety. The breakfast offerings were nearly identical every day, which became tiresome over the course of the week.

Overall a really good experience. Everything was very clean, good food, spa was really nice, staff very friendly. Cons were the beach was so full of seaweed it was basically unusable. They'll say they remove it but the week we were there they only cleared one small area and that was bc a wedding was happening right in front of that area. The hotel next door we saw clearing their beach multiple times. The rooms are clean, but could use some repairs. Ceiling in our room started dripping water at one point, but maintenance responded quickly and resolved the issue.

Unfortunately, my experience at this resort has been quite disappointing. The property is poorly maintained, and the photos on their website are clearly outdated. I’ve never been to a beach resort where the pool is the preferred over the beach. The beach was filled with seaweed. The beach was nearly empty throughout the three days I was here.
Service has also been underwhelming, with the exception of Carlos at the Preferred pool area, who was courteous and attentive.
Having stayed at several Dreams Resorts in the Cancun area, I can confidently say this is by far the worst one. As an ******* VIP, I was not acknowledged at check-in and received none of the benefits I was entitled to. On my 2nd day, I went to the Barefoot Grill at 4:37 p.m. to request a hotdog. Wendy told me the grill was closed—even though it doesn’t close until 5 p.m. Only after I reminded her of the posted hours did she serve me. The food overall was disappointing and not on par with the quality I’ve experienced at other Dreams properties. However, I’ll say Bordeaux was good and it is the best restaurant onsite. The rooms were outdated and need of upgrades. My smoke detector flashed continuously throughout the night, and when I reported it, I was told it was “normal.” Try sleeping with a flashing light in your room all night.
I was also told by Victor that I’d receive a welcome amenity and a birthday sash for my door, which I never received. If you’re considering this resort, be prepared for lower quality.

The property is nice , people are very friendly , me and my husband traveled by ourselves, we expect a better show and entertainment, but was a nice stay … we paid extra for the premium . But I didn’t see any difference , the ocean was very dirty and smell really bad ( but I know that is not something that the hotel can control ) I liked to come back to my room and have a little surprise, this was a very nice!

The room and the entire property including pools were always clean. The staff in restaurants were excellent. It is a place to relax and be entertained with many activities.

Beautiful resort; staff were great. However, our room was never cleaned or towel service. We had to call twice to get towels. Very disappointing and we paid for preferred service. Not sure I would return.
