"The hotel is literally 5 mins walk from the airport. It was self check in, but always someone there to help. We got there late at night n was able to order food, which was really good. There are free shuttle buses on the hour, to the attractions. Just ask which side to catch the buses (it at the back). Definitely recommended. I would rather wait in the lounge area there, than the airport. Plenty to keep the kids occupied too, Lego, games, puzzles and books."

"A lovely surprise, this old farmhouse has been transformed into a collection of rooms and apartments with private bathrooms and a large common room for relaxing and having breakfast. Free Wi-Fi, free parking, and a delightful host: Elisa! A large, beautiful garden surrounds this residence in the Danish countryside, less than a 10-minute drive from Billund city center and its attractions. Highly recommended!"

"This was the most expensive, yet also the worst, accommodation experience of this trip: 1. The room's actual usable area was less than 10 square meters, extremely cramped, so small that two 28-inch suitcases couldn't even fit flat. My teammates said even Danish prisons had better living conditions, which I think is quite accurate. 2. The walls and desks were stained, and the room's sanitation was appalling. Even a guesthouse in a small, rural town would probably be better. 3. The room's single, small window faced an office two meters away, completely obscure, leaving no privacy. The path between them was also filthy and messy (see picture). 4. For over 2,000 yuan a night, the amenities in the room were mediocre, even sparse. The shampoo box was black and moldy, and the shampoo was cheap and dingy. The shower head was the kind of cheap stuff you'd long ago discontinue in China. There was no elevator, and the stairs were small and steep, requiring you to carry your suitcases up the stairs by hand. Based on my personal, painful experience, I strongly urge everyone to avoid this hotel."

"Our kids being big fans of Ninjago, when we saw that there were Ninjago themed cabins to rent near Legoland, we could not resist! The cabin we had was not far from the entrance, Ninjago playground, but still in a calm environment if you don't take the planes into account. They start around 6:30 AM, so bring earplugs if you don't like being up early. The cabin floor was surprisingly clean, not crazy big but roomy enough for a family of 4. In any case, you're not in here to live, but more to stay in between visits to Legoland, Lego house and the likes. So it did the job. It took us ~15 minutes of walking to get from the cabin to Legoland entrance with our 5 and 7 year old kids. And around ~35 minutes of slow walking to Lego house, but there is a free shuttle if you prefer. There is also the Lalandia supermarket at a ~5minutes walking distance. In the cabin, there is everything you need to cook: a fridge, a sink, dish soap, a kettle, plates, cutlery, pots, pan, mugs, glasses, utensils, and 2 electric burners. Nothing fancy, but it's functional if you'd rather cook than buy pricey food. The cabin is nicely decorated with Ninjago things, which our kids loved. The beds were in good shape, albeit a bit small. Overall, a very pleasant experience! Our kids loved it, it was clean and functional, not crazy expensive like the castle hotel. 100% would recommend. There are also other cabins and camping spots in the village if that's more to your liking."

"It will house houses surrounded by greenery and playgrounds. Inside there is a vestibule, a bathroom, a kitchen with a living room (one of the walls is glass) and 2 bedrooms - closed with sliding doors. Not too much space, just enough to rest. Bed linen and towel available for an additional fee. There is electric heating. We wanted to feel the atmosphere of Legoland and we achieved it 100%. The area is well-kept, there are numerous figures made of Lego, and it's also time to celebrate Halloween. Was great. The children are delighted and so are we. A competition with prizes was organized for children from the "village". We had to find the letters for the password on the premises. There is a 24-hour reception with very nice staff, there is also a shop, a pizzeria (which was closed at the time) and a restaurant (you pay per plate and you can eat and drink as much as you want). The children were delighted because they put ice cream from the machine into the cup themselves and decorated it with whatever they wanted, and there is also a whole room for building Legos and playing Nintendo games."
