Airport Hotel, Billund

The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly, especially kind to the children, and even cleaned the house. Thumbs up to the hotel!

The TV was not working, and there was some hair around the bathroom sink. The bathroom was also a little small. However, the hotel is very conveniently located for both the airport and LEGOLAND. Overall, it is a practical choice for a short stay because of its excellent location.

I would not recommend this hotel. The room was extremely small and lacked basic amenities. There was no proper heating or air-conditioning system, and the only option provided was an old fan!!, which was not useful. The hotel itself is quite small and offers very limited facilities. The elevator was also very small and slow. Considering the limited facilities and overall quality of the accommodation, the price was very high and did not offer good value for money. Overall, the hotel was far below my expectations, and I would never choose to stay here again.

The hotel is currently extending which means there is construction work taking place. Due to finish in July 2027. Check in is via a tablet aka self check-in. Staff reluctantly help out as they also look after the bar and food orders!! Hotel was understaffed Sunday evening at 19:30 on 28 Jun2026 when we tried to check in. My booking had an issue around name entry in their booking listthat had to be resolved by staff. Guests wait a long time for help checking in or get a drink. I expected better service from an airport hotel that can monitor how many will be checking in on a given day and staff the reception/bar counter accordingly. I'll try NOT to return to this hotel! Please note there is NO a/c in the hotel rooms!!! They advocate to open a window and then use the fan supplied, but that means noise from planes, construction work and the blackout curtain get in the way of good sleep and cooling of room......

This is the wost airport hotel I ever have for my business trip. I had informed the hotel that I will had late arrival in Denmark. However, the hotel do not inform us that there are construction and the access to the hotel is blocked. We need to make big round before we can get to the hotel reception. Imagine that you without jacket, and you tried call to the hotel 2 times and no body pick up your call and reply you. The outside temperature is below 10 and dark. What a “incredible” hotel it can be especially for those who travel first time to Denmark and choose this hotel. I will never stay here again. Good to have some other hotel just 1-2 km away.

Very small room although we booked comfortable room. Very close to airport with free airport shuttle.

business hotel close to legoland. generally nice but parking facility is shared with the airport.
