We had such an amazing stay at Four Points by Sheraton Bintan! The staff were absolutely incredible—so warm, cheerful and genuinely caring from the moment we arrived. The sweetest surprise was the beautiful birthday room décor for my daughter; it made her feel so special and created a memory we’ll never forget! The hotel was sparkling clean, the food was delicious (especially breakfast!), and the beachfront location in Lagoi Bay was just perfect for a fun and relaxing getaway. With fantastic service, great vibes and such thoughtful touches, this hotel truly exceeded our expectations—we can’t wait to come back!

Villa is large and spacious, but felt old and not well-maintained. Upon entering the villa, we were immediately greeted by many dead leaves scattered all around the pool deck and floating on the pool. Floor also felt dirty, so we wore our slippers everywhere. The shower is outdoors, which meant we had to bathe with our slippers on. Bathtub’s drainage was not working despite a technician being sent over. With the pool brightly lit at night, we could see many impurities floating around inside + I swam head on into a FROG while trying to enjoy the pool at night. Breakfast was edible but unimpressive, and the latte tasted like water.
We stayed in the Deluxe Suite Villa but our villa did not match the photos online.
One good point about the villa is its location - it’s the closest accommodation to Plaza Lagoi, which has some good options and marts, and Lagoi Beach, which is beautiful at sunset and very clean.
Overall, would not recommend this to family and friends unless they do a major revamp/vastly improve on their maintenance.

Quiet and peaceful place. Room is very spacious and clean. Bathroom is exceptionally impressive! Cosy for families, great place for short getaway. Not many activities to choose from - archery / kayaking / ATV.. But they do have 4hr / 6hr day tours. Food wise - quality is ok; not many options.. as there's one and only Legenda Cafe. We had BBQ cooked by a chef by the beach and the experience was good - Can't have such an experience in Sg 😂 Breakfast was fantastic on Sunday morning - wide spread with Nasi Lemak (very yummy esp with the spicy sambal) / Fried Noodles / Congee / Egg station / Hashbrowns / Sausages / Jamu juice / cakes and fruits etc.. But disappointing on Monday morning - spread is limited, but we can order from the menu - food only came after more than 30mins. Room for improvement on that - especially when there's limited time for breakfast, food should be served fast; if not then just stick to buffet style. Overall, service is good. Spa massage and body scrub is ok too. Will visit again!

Overall, the Grand Lagoi Hotel Bintan offers a decent stay, particularly if you're travelling with family and looking for good value.
The definite highlight was the room itself. We found it to be spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable, providing plenty of room for everyone. The bathroom was also quite good – clean and functional. For the price point, the quality of the accommodation felt very reasonable.
However, there were a few areas that could be improved. While the hotel boasts a rooftop bar and restaurant, we found it to be noticeably expensive. Guests should budget accordingly if planning to dine or drink there frequently. The breakfast included with the stay was unfortunately not very impressive, lacking variety and quality compared to what we might have expected.
Location-wise, it's a bit of a mixed bag. The hotel is near the Lagoi Bay area, but we found the water at the nearby beach wasn't particularly clean during our visit. It's also important to note that the hotel is quite far from the main town centres like Tanjung Pinang, so accessing local eateries or shops requires transport and planning.
The staff were generally okay – they handled requests adequately, but didn't particularly stand out for exceptional service.
In summary: Grand Lagoi Hotel Bintan is a solid choice if your priority is a large, comfortable room at a reasonable price, making it suitable for families. However, be prepared for potentially high costs at the rooftop restaurant, a basic breakfast offering, a beach that might not be ideal for swimming, and a location that's relatively isolated. If you manage expectations regarding dining and location, it can be a pleasant base for your Bintan trip.

Went during sch holidays, hotel was clean and new furnishings, we liked the environment which was chill an
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and amenities was Secntia brand which was nice. The check-in snd check out process was seamless, service staff was great throughout as they were always greeted us with a smile, very friendly and helpful (shoutout to willy, ilman, tommy, adel & many more). We loved the hotel's pool area, and the breakfast buffet could have more live stations and variety. The location was near Plaza Lagoi & i would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish.
Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner.
However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top.
In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

The resort is very interesting with guestrooms within a tipi. The lagoon is lovely and clean. We were impressed with the guest services. From pickup at the ferry terminal to the arrival at the resort to check into our room, to dining to housekeeping to the security guard to the lifeguard at the lagoon, all staff were very friendly n nice. Due to the unpredictable weather, the housekeeping was very attentive to bring in our swim wear from outside into the tipi and closed up the tent. The only negative point was that the check-out time was too early at 11 am. Despite this, overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anmon Resort.

1. Well-equipped apartment. Safe, ironing equipment, umbrella, beach bag, crockery, cutleries, pot and pan and best of all – extremely comfortable bed and pillows and new air-conditioners!
2. Clean and modern interior. A few small flying insects that got into the room (inevitable due to the surrounding garden/forests and opening of doors) but thankfully, didn’t encounter any mosquitoes or ants in the apartment – what a relief! Fogging in the common areas is done twice a week – Tues and Thur late nights. Didn’t detect any unpleasant drainage smell in the toilet/shower so I’m perfectly happy with my assigned Queen Suite apartment!
3. Balcony views:
(i) Block 1 is beach front apartments with full sea view
(ii) Block 2 is made up of two sections: one section faces the Garden and the other section faces the Car-park
(iii) Blocks 3 and 4 have either (i) Garden view - with partial sea view on highest floor) OR, (ii) Forest view – with partial sea view too on highest floor).
(iv) Block 5 on the top floors have distant sea view (this block is on a slope and furthest from the reception and pool)
4. Friendly staff. My requests were attended to swiftly.
5. Private beach (shared among the 3 resorts there) is reasonably clean with fairly clear sea (there’re jelly fish warning signages).
6. Pool at Cassia is smaller but newer and cleaner than at Angsana. A new pool bar construction is currently being carried out in front of Cassia’s pool and the hoarding blocks the beautiful sea view from the infinity pool until mid Nov – what a pity!
7. Adequate breakfast spread but houseflies and birds were spotted in the restaurant – made me worry about the hygiene level
8. Various English movie channels but screen resolution was poor and images often lagged for a few seconds – makes the movie watching experience tiresome and annoying. Only the International news and Singapore channels did not suffer from lags/poor image quality
9. Some of the building and lift direction signs in the different apartment blocks are puzzling and confusing – the signs are probably very clear ONLY to the people who planned/designed them - certainly NOT easily understood by foreign guests! You need to get into the correct lifts in different buildings to reach the blocks furthest from the reception (to avoid climbing any stairs or slopes eg blocks 4 and 5). I only figured out the various sheltered linkways/correct lifts after a few trial and errors, lol!
10. Credit card is needed for room deposit during check in even if room cost was already paid in advance during online booking: 4 Million Indonesian Rupiah per apartment per night

We booked 4 rainforest sea view villas from Singapore. The rooms are in the traditional Balinese villa resort style. They are spacious, beautiful, clean, and equipped with complete toiletries. There are also two pairs of Japanese slippers for showering or going to the beach, and two pairs of cloth shoes for wearing in the room. The hygiene is good, and they clean twice a day. There are three-hole British sockets on both sides of the long table in the room, and there is no need for Indonesian plugs at all, which is very convenient to use. The balcony also has a large jacuzzi. The room is very quiet, and you can hear birds singing in the early morning. All the staff can speak English, and they are all very kind and polite, and their service attitude are also great. The breakfast is also good, and there are many food choices. Whether you go to eat or go back to the room, you can call the hotel's free buggy. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.
We will continue to stay in the same BanyanTree when I come to Bintan Island again.

Amazing
GGreys TanI would like to thank the staff at Holiday Inn Resort for their friendliness, especially the front desk receptionist, Dhea. She patiently explained the hotel room details upon my arrival, and during my departure, she went the extra mile by assisting us in obtaining our ferry boarding passes before we reached the terminal. We are truly grateful for her outstanding service.
Overall, our 3D2N stay was excellent!
A couple of areas that could be improved:
• The room’s fridge could be cooler.
• Dinner options at the resort could be better and more variety.
We had a wonderful experience and would love to return again.

MMIMIDAThe room was clean and spacious, and the view from the balcony was good. However, the room felt slightly off-kilter, was a bit dim, and had a low ceiling, which could make it feel a bit stifling.
Breakfast offered four menu choices, and the food was decent.
A Grab ride from the hotel to Tanjung Uban Terminal cost approximately 30,000 KRW.
In Bintan, exploring attractions like snorkeling or the Blue Lake can eat up a lot of your time due to travel. My personal advice is to either plan your itinerary very efficiently, skip these activities altogether, or consider them as a day trip.
A free shuttle service is reportedly available between the hotel and BBT Terminal, taking approximately 5 minutes.
Swimming while enjoying the sea view was lovely.
Definitely bring a shower filter!

Tthiskneethatkneebreakfast was the best thing tbh - please add on breakfast when u book your stay because the restaurants there are really expensive
service was okay, but they only provided 2 drinking water per room per day - and it cost about 5 sgd to purchase a 1.5L water
activities there are pretty pricey as well, but u can rent volleyball/football for free
the beach there is quite stoney, not very advisable to play by the edge of the water because there are a lot of stones which can be quite painful barefooted
room was okay, the ac was good, but water shower pressure quite low, but hot water is good
go to Calypso Floating Bar for a great sunset view! then have dinner at kelong seafood - paid around $80 sgd for 3 dishes for 2 pax (tax there is 10%+11%)

LLiane CAs a first time solo traveler, I would say I did not have anything planned the moment I reached the resort.
But my goal for this trip was mainly a getaway from everyday city life and it did reach my purpose.
There are activities that can be in and around the resort.
First time tried kayaking and archery.
All the staffs were super friendly. From reception, activities, restaurant staff until check out.
I went during an off peak season, so even passing by a staff at the lobby of the Lotus Cafe, I was shocked that I was greeted by the staff with my name.

GGuest UserIt was a great stay for us. Sea view chalet is nice and comfortable for me and my husband. Unobstructed view for the sea is my favourite. Room service was good and staffs were friendly and always greet us with smiling face. We stayed for 3 nights and we ate our meals at the resort’s restaurants. Breakfast was included in our booking and food served at the breakfast was good but nothing special to mention. We had our lunch and dinner at the Spice and the Kelong seafood restaurant. I will say the food varieties is limited and pricey. I will say it is more expensive than Singapore (one of the most expensive city in asia). For two person we spent about 70$-170$ per meal… appitizer, one main dish and one cheapest drink. When we had seafood dish, it cost more, of course, about $170. Overalls, it was a good experience. Nice stay except the pricey food. Taste of the food are just fine. We stayed 3 nights, so it made us more difficult to choose what to eat when you have not much to choose and it is not exciting and you are at the resort… so you can’t go out and buy more affordable food outside. If the resort can have more Chinese cuisine will be good. So, if you are staying for relaxation then it is good. If you are foodie,,, this place is not for you.

GGuest UserEverything was great but please learn to delivery ”no” message to your customer instead of stalling tactic.
We requested for early checkin as the ferry disembarked at close to 12pm. The concierge told us it was subjected to availability. They will try to clean up room quickly. We waited close to 3hrs, 15mins before official check in time to get the room.
But we noticed neighboring units were empty.. and due to low occupancy, the breakfast was ala-carte instead of buffet.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very good. The environment and facilities are very good. The disadvantage is that there is too much silicone oil on the beach. I took a few photos and stepped on the oil. Fortunately, the hotel service was very good. The waiter went to the room to help clean up. We are very satisfied with the service of the hotel! We have lived in villas and beach houses. It is really cozy and relaxing! What I want to suggest in particular is whether Chinese food can be made more delicious, such as hot pot restaurants ... there are too few ingredients ... I hope the hotel can be better and better, because we live in Singapore, we will often go on vacation, and look forward to next time New feeling!
