Bueno, bonito, y barato (para un hotel en Usaquén.) Return stay, this time we got a very nice room with a more spacious bathroom where nothing was broken, and a cute fireplace! So, rooms vary in quality. The rooms have refrigerators, but no microwave, and unfortunately the hotel staff will not heat up food for you. There is a "fitness center" on the top floor but it only has two cardio machines and no weights. The Turkish sauna is nice, though. This top floor was dirty at the time, possibly going through renovations.

I have to change my first opinion, the first time I took this place in October was completely different to my las, I took on November for second time and everything was in a kindness environment till the check out, in the reception was this person Sandra, and she informed me the payment was not done, when I arrived in the hotel the first thing I asked was if they have charged the payment to the card and he said the only one thing I had to pay there was the taxes so o did it, they had 4 day to say they hadn’t charged the payment and never did it. But in the checkout this person insulted me in front of the other costumers and also she threatened me in front of everyone when I was offering her the option to give me a link to do the payment with another card because I hadn’t that physically. Btw How is it possible that they don't have a responsible person on Sunday? Sandra is vulgar, unprofessional, rude and really not suitable for a position, where you supposed to have the most efficient and respectful person, I was seriously disappointed. But in a good way want to say thank you to Daiana the person in charge of restaurant, she’s amazing and so professional and sweet, and Carlos the botones who was a kindness example, they are the real people who deserve be the hotel’s face.

I have seen quite a lot over the past decades, but this must be the worst hotel I have stayed at and this is primarily due to its management. But first: a simple hotel in very good location, but with thin walls and in an increasingly deteriorating state. Staff is generally very helpful and nice. Breakfast offering very basic! Main problem: management wants to recover Covid losses by charging damages to guests without proof that they have been caused by them. In our case, the cover glass for the desk had a small piece missing at the edge and we were told that we had caused this and had to pay for it! Obviously, we did not check the room for such minor damages when checking in (at the end who treats a hotel room like a used car and checks for scratches in the whole room?). When my wife talked to the responsible manager by phone (who refused to talk to us in person), he mentioned directly that the hotel had to recover Covid losses as reason for why we were charged for this 'damage'. When my wife insisted that we were not responsible for the 'damage', he blackmailed us, saying that the staff would then have to cover the cost of a new glass. Certainly the most unpleasant experience I have ever had in any hotel in the world.

Cuando llegamos, la recepción fue muy amable y se nos asignó una habitación en el 5 piso, con un agradable balcón sobre la calle. Apenas entramos a la habitación notamos un olor nauseabundo, cómo de alcantarilla, ante lo cuál llamé inmediatamente a la recepción informando de la situación y solicitando un cambio de habitación. La respuesta de la señorita fue: "No tenemos habitaciones disponibles para hacer el cambio" . El olor era insoportable y provenía del baño, ante lo cuál volví a llamar y enviaron a un empleado, el cuál, ya estaba enterado de la situación y, de hecho, él mismo ya había informado de la situación días atrás. Pero con todo y eso siguieron ofreciendo la habitación. El empleado, encargado de mantenimiento, muy amablemente le informó de la situación a la gerencia del hotel. Unos momentos después un empleado llamó a la puerta para decirnos que por favor lo acompañamos a nuestro nuevo cuarto y que por favor los disculpara por el mal momento vivido por nosotros. Nos trasladaron a un cuarto del segundo piso, sin balcón, pero también sin el olor nauseabundo de alcantarilla. Es decir que SI tenían habitaciones disponibles, pero la señorita de recepción, por alguna razón que desconozco, no quiso atender nuestra solicitud (era imposible aguantar ese olor). Ya en la nueva habitación la experiencia fue agradable, el desayuno tipo Buffet estuvo bien y la ubicación cercana a Unicentro lo hacen una buena opción. La baja calificación en las habitaciones se debe a lo que nos tocó vivir en la del quinto piso.

El hotel es agradable, muy bien ubicado las habitaciones confortables. El único ***** que me parece que tiene es que el restaurante no es muy bueno. Tiene platos buenos, pero algunos dejan mucho que desear. Recomiendo alojarse en ese lugar pero buscar almuerzo y cena en otra parte.
