La Carmela de Boracay Hotel

I like how the hotel upgraded our room without additional fee and giving us a much bigger room than what we book here, so I am happy that in such a low price room I booked here,we've experience a high class staycation.

At first it was hard due to misunderstanding of the booking details. Nothing to worry as they have a good service and amenities. Good location as well.

Theres a lot of cockroaches inside the room. Hope this issue can be addressed. Not worth the pay for this.

We stayed at La Carmela for 5 days and 4 nights, and this was the room I booked for my mother and mother-in-law, while my husband and I, along with our 1-year-old baby, stayed in another room. On the first night before they went to sleep (mama and MIL), small cockroaches suddenly appeared everywhere. We told them to report it, and they did. Thank you to the staff because they immediately offered my mom and mother-in-law to be transferred to another room, thank you. We appreciate all the staff, they are all very welcoming and accommodating. We also feel comfortable leaving important items even when they do housekeeping because we have tried leaving a watch in the room, and it didn't go missing. Will definitely go back.

Originally booked a bedroom with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed but was upgraded to 3 single beds when we arrived so we were happy. The entire place is clean. Our hotel room is also clean. Basically, it's a really good hotel that has two pools, one within the place and one on the beachfront (White Beach). However, if you're looking for a place near d'mall or other places/dining spots near Station 1, it is far (10-15 min walk). But if you prefer or if walking is okay with you, then it's no problem at all. The only downside is the wifi and buffet. The wifi is only strong at the hotel lobby which, unfortunately, is very far from our room so we rely on data. The buffet, on the other hand, is the somehow just the same on our 5 day stay at the hotel so it's a little boring. But again, if you don't have any problem with those two, then this place is good.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were friendly, and the location was fantastic—close to both the beach and shops. It offered great value for the price, and the breakfast was delicious too!
