This hotel in Heshun Ancient Town truly exceeded my expectations! Its location isn't far from the town, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustle, and the ambiance is incredibly comfortable. The biggest surprise was the infinity pool, which overlooks rice fields and distant mountains. In the evening, when the sunset casts its glow, it's absolutely stunning even without filters – just sitting on a lounge chair and taking a couple of pictures yields amazing shots. The room was clean and fresh, and the service was very attentive; any requests were handled quickly. It was such a relaxing and worry-free stay. If you're visiting this area, staying here is a guaranteed hit. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Tengchong!

I promised my boss I'd write a super long post, so here it is! He Tang Zhen Mei and the boss's team were the biggest surprise of my trip to Tengchong, bar none (on behalf of myself and all the kids). Highly recommended for all families!!! I've been to almost every ancient town in Yunnan, and Heshun Ancient Town has its own unique charm, though it also has its own management issues. But staying at He Tang Zhen Mei perfectly helped you maximize its advantages and minimize its disadvantages, allowing you to ”see” the best of Heshun Ancient Town. First, let's talk about the hotel's location. Heshun is a town with many ups and downs, and He Tang is located next to Wild Duck Lake, a perfect location that's both bustling and quiet. Lying on the rooftop, you can watch the sunrise, see the shimmering Wild Duck Lake, and enjoy the panoramic view of the ancient town. Turning right after exiting, you'll find the highly recommended Lanlingge Halal Restaurant. Turning right again leads to the market and Lijia Alley. Turning left and going downhill leads to the traditional commercial street of the ancient town. If I had to choose the perfect location in the ancient town, it would be Hetang Zhenmei. Now, let's talk about the hotel rooms. Hetang isn't the newest hotel, but the room design is incredibly thoughtful. Slippers are provided on the floor, and the rooms are heated by the floor. There are reclining chairs and rocking chairs near the entrance. The bathroom has a separate hot spring bathtub and shower. Most noteworthy, and most importantly, is the strong sense of community in the guesthouse. It's not just about service—calling it service is too inadequate—it's about the warmth and hospitality of Yunnan people. Before visiting Hetang, our children had just experienced a setback in Dali. But in Hetang, they met the enthusiastic uncles and aunts. When we arrived, they picked us up in two cars from parking lot number 1. Every evening when we returned to the guesthouse, the uncles and aunts would warmly invite us to eat various delicious dishes together. The owner even arranged half a day to drive us around Heshun in a shuttle bus, showing us all the ancestral halls and traditional houses, telling us his stories about Tengchong. This is truly better than any tour guide! On our last day, we wanted to visit the Tengchong Jade Market. The owner drove us around all day, taking us to the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall and the market. When the children got bored, the owner took them back to the guesthouse and then picked us up again. During our week-long stay in Tengchong, Hetang provided us with a great sense of security and we rested very well. We sincerely wish the owner continued success in his business, and Hetang Zhenmei all the best! We will definitely come back!!!

The hotel environment is tranquil and elegant. Both the detached villas and standard rooms come with private in-room hot springs. The views of the mountains, fields, and rice paddies are incredibly soothing. Especially noteworthy is the hotel's 'Wild Fun Garden,' where the hotel grows its own vegetables, and guests can even pick them, offering a taste of pastoral life. A special thank you to our butler, Xiao Zhou, for the consistently meticulous and thoughtful service throughout our stay. Check-in was efficient, she proactively explained how to use the hot spring, responded promptly to our requests, and thoughtfully recommended local sightseeing routes. The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety of options, and the service was warm and polite. The entire trip was comfortable and pleasant, making it an excellent choice for a holiday in Tengchong. On the way to Shushu Bookstore, we were attracted by the environment of this inn. The owner received us warmly. The room was full that day, so he agreed to pick us up in the city the next day. After checking in, the owner made us feel at home. The hotel room was clean and tidy, the environment was antique, and there were hot springs and swimming pools. The hotel was not big but very exquisite, the tea was delicious, and the children had a great time. We have been traveling all the way from Guiyang and have stayed in the most comfortable hotel, which is inseparable from the owner's attentive service. This is the treasure homestay in my mind. Heshun is very good, the hotel is very good, and I will come again next time!
