Pet Friendly Hotels in Baoshan

The Inn is well-situated near the ancient-library, a major landmark in Tengchong Ancient Town. The management was able to arrange for a private car to Songshan Battle Site, to Longling, and for a leisure drive along G320, between Longling and Mangshi, which I believe was a section of the Burma Road (as named during World War Two). Rather interesting to come here to see the terrain in which General Joseph Stilwell had then encountered. There is a War museum located just outside the Ancient town, just two bus-stops away. Entry is free, and is a must-see if your are a World War Two afficondido. Housekeeping at the Inn is excellent. There is hot water though you need to run it for 4 to 5-minutes from Cold to about 35-degrees C.

The owner was delightful. We connected via WhatsApp--she contacted me while I was on the train to Baoshan and arranged a shuttle service for the 3 of us to come directly to her hotel. A hotel staff member met us at the gates of the Ancient City and brought us and our luggage down to the lovely hotel. Very clean, great view, and a charming guest house. She and her mother in law made AMAZING breakfast meals--I think I gained a pound and it was worth it! She generously arranged transportation for us to Beihei Wetlands. At every turn she, her daughter, and other staff offered us fruit, tea, coffee, directions, travel support and more. One of the staff members has a lovely baby boy, whom we enjoyed seeing! I cannot say enough about this facility--clean bathrooms and common areas, comfortable beds, with top notch bedding and linens. We are from the US and our son speaks Chinese but we do not. The owner communicated very clearly with me via WhatApp (with translation services) which was no problem at all. Great restaurants and shops very close by. Lovely hotel owners, fantastic service, and a quaint town off the beaten path. If I could rate higher than a 10, I would!

The host was very nice and helped us with our luggage, even though we had a lot of luggage. The courtyard was particularly beautiful, with a lovely ginkgo tree and a large swing. However, when we booked the room, we mentioned that breakfast was included. When we woke up in the morning and asked about it, the host said they didn't offer it because there were too few people, but they hadn't informed us in advance. Everything else was fine and clean. Nuangui Homestay I sent emails to Nuangui via trip.com on 24 Nov and 30 Nov to arrange for complimentary pick up. I got no reply to my 2 emails. I telephoned Nuangui via trip.com on 1 Dec before flying out to TengChong, a lady answered the phone, she insisted she didn't receive my 2 emails, but promised to arrange pick up. When we arrived in TengChong we were picked up and dropped off at the entrance of HeShun and given a gps map sharing location and told to find our own way to the minsu after eating because their staff/boss refused to meet and greet us at the HeShun entrance. At the time it was around 9.30pm. Despite the gps map sharing, we spent a long time walking around dark, narrow, quiet streets of HeShun looking for something to eat and then later the minsu location. In the end we couldn't find the minsu. There was no one around to ask for durections and it was quite dark and very cold. By around 11.15pm we finally gave up looking and called the minsu to come and find us and take us to the minsu. They only answered after a few minutes of calling. It was lucky we insisted on calling, we would never have found the minsu by ourselves. The minsu itself was great, comfortable and clean. The location is convenient (when u know where it is and how to get there). The minsu staff took our luggage all the way, from the airport to the minsu, which was very helpful, I wouldn't have made it to the minsu if I had to carry my own luggage because a lot of the HsShun streets are uneven, uphill and many steps. The only hic up was the bath, originally we thought it wasn't working because there was no hot water coming out from the hot water tap. After 3 nights of stay, we later found out that the taps were installed incorrectly, C water tap meant hot water and the other way round. Also, even though staying in minsu in HeShun, you still have to pay entrance tickets, that wasn't pointed out on the minsu details.

The view from the B&B is amazing. It's so enjoyable to just lie in bed or sit on the sofa and gaze at Wild Duck Lake. The hot springs are real hot spring water too. I had a few allergic reactions on my first night, but I slept so soundly that night. I absolutely loved the private hot spring bath on the large terrace. On my first night, I soaked in the hot springs, drank plum wine from the small restaurant downstairs, listened to music, admired the beautiful view of Wild Duck Lake, and watched the clouds drift across the sky. ⛅️ It felt like life was worth it. On our last night, the helpful manager remotely filled the hot springs. Suddenly, it started to rain heavily. I couldn't let the water go to waste, so I suddenly had the idea of ​​soaking in the hot springs under an umbrella. ♨️ What an unforgettable experience. When I checked out today, the handsome front desk guy drove me to my hotel downtown. His service was so thoughtful and deserves a five-star rating. Shanghai was 40 degrees Celsius, but Tengchong was only 18 today—such cool weather. Tengchong is perfect for a lazy person like me to just relax. See you next time.

When you come to Tengchong, you must stay at Sanwanli~ The landlady was very enthusiastic and upgraded the room for free. The room had a very wide view and could see the entire ancient town. The chairs on the large terrace in the B&B are super comfortable with cushions. You can sit on them and watch the sky, clouds and scenery. It’s so comfortable. I love it! The breakfast is also very good ~ I will choose to stay here again next time I have the opportunity.

It is too suitable for playing with the family. The air here is fresh and pleasant, and the natural scenery is beautiful. It is really worth it to choose to stay here. The price is affordable and close to the people. The room is bright and transparent, the lighting is good and the ventilation is good, and the family is comfortable.

The room was quite spacious, but the bathroom facilities were a bit outdated. It's located on the edge of the ancient town, a bit far from the main area, so it's not recommended for elderly people with mobility issues. It's fine for young people, and you can even take a walk around Wild Duck Lake. The hot springs were okay, but perhaps because we went during the off-season, there were only two pools available, so the experience wasn't great when it was crowded. I highly recommend the nearby ”Mama's Taste” restaurant – it's incredibly delicious!

Sometimes fate is so wonderful! I did a strategy to achieve the morning market in Siam Ancient Town. I didn’t want to be too far away. So I booked a homestay in the ancient town. The Internet was much better. Finally, I chose this homestay that was super comfortable to sleep according to the evaluation of netizens. The mattress was very comfortable. This is what I care about, so I set this. The owner of the hotel is a young couple, super gentle and super patient! ! I really like the female boss! ! Super to my character hahahaha, the first time I met, I talked endlessly. I was too poor. I slept super comfortable at night. This bed is really good. The bath water is very flushing. The water is also very hot. Don’t be too comfortable. The hair dryer is also very easy to use. The ancient town is also very quiet. The boss recommended a local restaurant, it is really delicious! ! ! It's a pity that I can't eat too much alone, I really want to eat this restaurant! ! There are so many people in line! ! The next morning I went to the morning market, and the opposite was the net red sister Fang's broken bag. Going out is! ! ! Don't be too happy! ! The boss also has a fat cat! ! ! Super cute, especially sticky! ! Many flowers, very healing, coffee on the third floor, really suitable for relaxing! ! The rain affected the travel plan, but unexpectedly followed the owner of the hotel to eat and drink for a day, and continued the hotel for another night! ! Following the check-in instructions, I circled the complex four or five times but couldn't find Unit 19. After calling and adding them on WeChat, I had to contact another person to transfer the room. The customer service representative immediately told me the room I had booked was unavailable. I reluctantly went to see another unit and was shocked to find it was practically unfinished. When I asked, the representative replied, ”Whether you stay or not, this is the price. You can either get a refund or not.” They even asked why I hadn't seen the room before. I insisted that I had never seen a room that didn't match the order photos at all. The representative replied, ”It's just advertising...” My family was exhausted after seeing the second unit, so we reluctantly checked in. The experience was terrible, like swallowing flies. It felt like I would be treated badly if I hadn't stayed in a villa. Because I booked early, the price was slightly cheaper, and they were eager for me to get a refund. They prefer to sell at a higher price when they have plenty of resources. It seems that even in small places with abundant natural resources, people only care about short-term profits, lacking integrity and respect for customers. The poor service of the Tengchong homestays doesn't match the scenery at all. It's not worth recommending and is not a good choice for a vacation.
