However, there are no facilities outside of the room, so while it might not be for everyone, I think most people choose this hotel specifically to avoid others, so it's not really an issue. That said, check-in and check-out are done in the lobby. If these could be handled in the room, then you truly might not have to see anyone at all. The check-out time slightly breaks the illusion for me, so I'm giving it a 4, but with high hopes for the future. It would be even better if they could ask about dinner service speed beforehand. If you do make a request, they are very accommodating. I will definitely come again."

People come here not for the sake of 'checking off a list,' but to briefly step away from the city's pace, put down their phones and work, and let time slow down amidst hot springs, nature, and tranquility. The charm of Izu Kogen isn't in its grandeur, but in its preservation of a sense of life that is increasingly rare today. It's perfect for zoning out, taking a leisurely stroll, reading, or soaking in the hot springs, and also ideal for spending a few quiet days with someone special. This is my most genuine feeling."
