This was literally the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. First, I waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk, during that 10 minutes the smell of **** and the sound of children screaming and stomping back and forth across the 2nd floor had my praying I’d be on the first floor. When the front desk lady came out of of one of the guest rooms down the hall, she was on speaker phone asking if she was being fired or not…I was checked in and walked off towards my room. The door opened to a room with lights on, the bed obviously slept in, used towels, and food on the desk. I quickly left what I was afraid was a still occupied room, and approached the lady at the front desk with my dilemma. She said it was the 5th room that wasn’t clean that day. The person still on speaker phone - I’m assuming a manager? Said she should go confirm what I was saying - the next room is, you guessed it - on the 2nd floor. Across the hall from the **** and screaming children. This room was “clean” the air conditioner was held together with tape, the bathroom was covered in hair, some towels were stained and the room was dirty and not maintained or updated. I finally fell asleep at 2am and the **** smoke smell dissipated by 6 am
