Great
GGuest UserReally welcoming and friendly staff who were eager to help wherever they could. We arrived here at the end of our trip from Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide, so the comfort was very much appreciated after spending nights sleeping and living in a campervan. The hostel itself is very clean and maintained. There are multiple TV rooms, a massive chill-out area, and bathrooms that feel more like a hotel than a hostel. We booked a private room with shared bathroom. The room was a good size, with a balcony, a desk, and 2 large, comfortable double bed. It was also air-conditioned. The kitchen is large and well equipped, with multiple fridges and stovetops, as well as a microwave, cleaning products, and recycling facilities. The only downside is that some guests could be tidier and put their things away after washing up / cooking. The location is excellent — right in the centre of the city. You can walk everywhere: the bus station, supermarkets, China/Asian town, restaurants, and Adelaide Central Market are all just minutes away. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily stay again.

GGuest UserI booked two rooms, and one of them had an electrical issue. Every time we tried to boil water with the electric kettle, all the outlets in the room would lose power. When I reported it to the hotel, the staff seemed to already know about the problem, immediately identifying the kettle as the culprit, but they didn't offer any solution. Since my elderly parents prefer to drink hot water, they had to come to our room each time they needed to boil some. I really don't understand why the hotel would ignore such a known issue and not even mention it at check-in. This definitely needs improvement.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the hotel for my husband's birthday and had a great time. Loved the heated pool and jacuzzi. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, very cramped and staff were struggling to keep up, did not feel like a five star experience. Balcony really tiny with no view, so not one you could actually use. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly.

GGuest UserIt was a lovely 2-night stay in the Oceanview Twin Room. We were offered an upgrade for just $20 a day to enjoy a balcony, definitely worth it! Loved the location, so close to shops with plenty of food and drink options. The kids and I also had a great time relaxing in the heated pool and spa, even in the cold weather. .

MM51594****The room was spacious and bright, with an excellent downtown location within walking distance of the University of Adelaide. It was clean and well-maintained, and came with a variety of snacks, though these incurred an extra charge.

Mmiweekend Janice BehThe overall experience swings to both extremes — some things were very good, while others were quite disappointing. Good: New and Modern interior design, especially impressive for a motel-rated property. Spacious room with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Wide variety of in-room beverages. Concierge staff were very friendly and helpful. Free parking for motel guests (unlike the sister hotels, which charge $15 for 24 hours). Bad: No self-service laundry — a major drawback for a motel. I had to walk 480m to a public laundromat on first day.. then only learned that we can use laundry service at sister hotel. Poorly designed shower area. The shower platform is higher than the toilet section, causing water to flow out into the toilet area instead of towards the drain — very odd design. Internet is weak, unstable, and slow. If your child wants to play Roblox… forget it. Housekeeping needs significant improvement. They didn’t wash the mugs and glasses, didn’t clear used plates, didn’t sweep the floor, and didn’t replace the trash bag — they only changed the towels.

GGuest UserIt was ok, but not more. The two most important things for me in any hotel are a comfortable bed and a good shower. the bed was great but the water pressure in the shower was very poor. Aside from that, there were other issues that I would not expect from a hotel of this standard, carrying the prices it does. The TV power button did not work, neither did any of the top buttons on the remote. Once I turned the TV on at the GPO and then on the actual TV itself, I was unable to use the connected DVD player as the buttons to switch to it on the remote did not work. Breakfast was quite poor. Basically cereal or scrambled eggs with a few other options such as fruit cups, yoghurt and biscuits. It served my purpose being close to the convention centre, but I doubt I'd stay there again.

GGuest UserAs I was going to be leaving from the Parklands Train Terminal early in the morning this hotel was perfectly situated for my trip. Although I wasn't at the hotel for very long only about 12hrs overnight it was a good location and the room faced the parking so meant it was quieter as well and didn't get the hot afternoon sun either. I would say though there was no pricelist I could find for the mini-bar, not that I used it was only thinking of grabbing some cold water that was in the fridge. The one thing I wasn't a fan was the spa tub/shower combo. The jets need a serious clean all around them but then even standing in it meant anyone tall as in 6'5” plus may have to bend down. I would think they should rip out the spa tub and put in a nicer rain shower shower stall instead maybe just provide spa tubs in rooms that you can also put a shower stall into. I'd stay here again mainly for the location as it's also right across the street from the big park area which was fantastic to walk around on a warm evening after dinner at the pub up the street.

GGuest Userat the center of North Terrace, the location of the hotel is very convenient. It takes 15m from airport by vehicle and only 5m to tram and trail station on foot. equipments in the room are fully prepared and easy to use. the only cons is thin wall of washroom, which causes a little noise when someone is using the toilet.
