Our stay at Spicers Vineyard Estate in the Hunter Valley was truly exceptional! The property is set amidst beautiful vineyards, offering a serene and picturesque atmosphere perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spacious and elegantly appointed, with every detail considered for comfort and luxury. We dined at éRemo Restaurant, the sister restaurant of Spicers Guesthouse, and it was a culinary delight. Every course was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor—the Binnie Beef Hunter Valley Wagyu was a standout! The accompanying Thomas wine was superb and perfectly paired with the meal. We also enjoyed a morning walk along the valley’s scenic trail and were greeted with the sight of hot air balloons floating over the hills—a mesmerizing experience. The entire stay was seamless, the staff were attentive, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the Hunter Valley in style!

We stayed at The Carriages Boutique Hotel and Vineyard and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. This was a place I’d wanted to stay at for a long time, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The location was beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature, birdlife, and the quiet atmosphere of the Hunter Valley. On our first night, we even had the whole property to ourselves, which made the experience feel extra special. We enjoyed a lovely dinner nearby and were able to walk back through the gardens to the hotel afterwards, which added to the charm of the stay. Breakfast was simple but perfect, delivered in a basket and ideal for a relaxed morning. One of the best moments was lighting the fireplace on our final night and enjoying a quiet evening with a glass of wine. The location, service, atmosphere, and overall experience were all fantastic, and this will definitely be one of our fondest memories from the trip.

A very satisfying reservation. The manor is very beautiful and has its own golf course club, so it is very large. But because it is so large, it took some time to find the front desk (next to the nineteen restaurant), and the instructions were very clear afterwards. A large one-bedroom and one-living room with its own kitchen. The bathroom has a large bathtub. The room has its own garage and a small garden (you can sit outside and drink tea, very lifelike). The disadvantage is the service. The room I booked has a sofa bed that I have to make myself, and the four trash cans at the door were not clearly classified and were not explained.

The hotel is open-plan, there are about a dozen rooms, large and small, and there are two sets of vineyards. It is a pity that the vineyards are very small. I expected to live in a large vineyard. Basic self-service, breakfast is in the refrigerator: juice, milk, ground coffee, washed directly, nut oatmeal, bread slices, prepare yourself, you can also eat. Hotel Italian restaurant recommended, two good meals, wall hangings. It is very quiet and nobody is not going out at night. There are laundry rooms, dryers and washing machines. This is a beautiful hotel, especially the front desk staff, SAM, who enthusiastically introduced us to the hotel. This century-old building features a romantic French design. Highly recommended.

Great location, several wineries very nearby. The owners were helpful to check us in remotely using key pin and drop box. The pool and grounds are relaxing on a warm day after touring the valley. The property looks “rustic”, in keeping with provincial charm. everything functioned well and we hope to rebook on future visits.
