Shuixieshanshe Homestay is a relatively new lodging started by a young couple. The room we stayed in was clean and bright. The room's temperature can be adjusted accordingly, and there is a warm shower that is strong even when 3-4 people use it consecutively. The lodging is value for money and the young couple managing it goes out of the way to make the place homely and comfortable for the guests. The owner provides complimentary pick-up and drop-off at the Hengshan West Railway station. My elderly mom was ill during the trip and the owner went out of the way to send us to the TCM clinic. We extended our stay for another day due to the kindness and courtesy of the owners. Shuixieshanshe Homestay is within 5 minutes of walking distance to the Grand Temple of Mount Heng ( Nányuè Dàmiào) which makes it an excellent base from which to explore Mount Heng (衡山)

The room was spacious and very clean, and the service was excellent. Both the front desk staff and the housekeeping aunties were incredibly friendly, and the attention to detail in their service was impressive. The late-night noodles were delicious – I had them two nights in a row! This is hands down the best hotel I've stayed in in recent years across all aspects. It will definitely be my first choice whenever I'm staying at the foot of Mount Heng.

Traveling to Hengyang, I decisively chose Yijian Junya Hotel, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. The hotel boasts elegant New Chinese-style decor, creating a wonderful ambiance perfect for taking photos. The front desk service was incredibly warm and even thoughtfully upgraded my room for free. Our dedicated butler, Zhiyi, was meticulous and attentive, proactively informing us about meal times and all hotel services, always ready to assist with any request. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the hallway's fresh, subtle fragrance was incredibly relaxing. All the in-room amenities were well-arranged, and the disposable toiletries were made with quality materials, really standing out. The dining was a particularly pleasant surprise; the breakfast selection was rich and varied, and there was even authentic local rice noodle supper available late at night – absolutely delicious. The hotel facilities are excellent, with a 24-hour free gym and laundry room, plus electric vehicle charging stations. Both the soft and hardware are top-notch, offering exceptional value for money. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Hengyang.

I chose this place with my friends. It's a beautiful spot. I forgot to take pictures of the beautiful exterior, so I only took pictures of the room. I really like them, so I'm posting them. I'll come back next time to take pictures of the exterior. The room was very clean and quiet. It was a pleasure to sit on the sofa and read a book. The nutritious breakfast was great and gave me plenty of energy for the day. I was able to see the rime ice at Zhurong Peak as I had hoped. It was a very worthwhile trip to Nanyue. I was full of good fortune.

I came here to know what it is to be at home. The lobby is clean and bright, and there is a dining area. I heard that there is milk tea drink after I heard that there is a meal service. Now the noodles and dishes made by grandparents are really delicious! I will come to live in the future for this meal! Speaking of the room, the quality of the room is far beyond the price. When I went upstairs, the automatic sensor light on the wall of the stairs was on along with my progress. I booked 301 on the third floor. The door said welcome home. The stairs to the fourth floor were still attached to the head. Seeing joy, the details are really super much. It can be seen that the boss's intentions are decorated. After the room was immediately bright, the sensor lights in the whole house were lit one by one. What came into view was a transparent layout, spacious and bright, clean and tidy. A room with a Zen design and a warm feeling of logs was really amazing. 🍵 There are short and scorpion in the area. It’s so cool to sit here and drink tea and eat snacks and play with your mobile phone! 1.5 The twin bed is very comfortable and clean, and there is even a fascia gun at the bedside. Those who come to climb the mountain can use it! All electrical appliances can be awakened or turned off through the smart housekeeper of the whole house, which saves effort. The toilet and shower are separated from wet and dry, the corners are clean and there are no dead ends, the toilet and blue cleaning liquid make people feel very clean, the toilet has small windows, and the ventilation is very good and there is no smell. In addition, there are TVs, small tables, sinks, lamp mirrors, the equipment is very complete and full of details, just as comfortable as in your own home. The location of the homestay is also super convenient. It is just behind the temple. If you want to burn incense and worship Buddha, you can go to the first floor to find your grandmother to buy incense. The price is really convenient. Because there is a short distance from the main road, the noise is very small, the view outside the window is good, if you come by car, you can contact the boss to reserve a parking space. This price is really the best homestay I have ever stayed in! If I insist on the shortcomings, I can live for a day, and I will have the opportunity to come with my friends in the future, and I will stay here!

It was my child's birthday, so I contacted the hotel ahead of time. They gave us a complimentary room upgrade, helped decorate the room, and even sent over fruits, snacks, and a lovely birthday message! We were thrilled! Upon check-in, they thoughtfully offered us a cup of hot tea. When we headed out for some sightseeing, they recommended Nanyueli and kindly lent us an umbrella. In the evening, they even brought us a late-night snack (porridge and eggs). The 2-meter king-size bed room was extremely comfortable, and our entire family was completely satisfied!

The hotel is great! The location is very close to the temple and also to the mountain! The staff are fantastic! They are very friendly and helpful! They can pick you up and drop you off from the railway station and the bus station! I had to change my travel plans last minute, and they helped me change the drop off time and location! The room is very clean and the amenities are great! The roof has a lovely terrace with a great view of the mountains! The food at the hotel is also great! I ate all of my meals at the hotel, and everything was delicious! If I ever return to hike the mountain, I will definitely stay here!

This store was recommended by a friend, and it really did not disappoint. The lady boss is super nice. She even picked us up from the high-speed rail station for free when we came here. I didn’t understand it when I came here to burn incense for the first time. She even took the initiative to explain the process of ordering incense to us and brought it to us personally. We entered the temple and the explanation was very detailed. The room we stayed in was really clean and had a separate bathroom. It was hard not to like the style, especially. The transportation here is very convenient. It is only a 5-minute walk from Nanyue Temple. There is a food street next to it. I have come to Wanshou Plaza to watch the Olympics together in the evenings and enjoy the cool air. The atmosphere is super good. I really think it is good. I will come again next time.

If you want to travel to Nanyue Hengshan, you can also choose to stay at Ramada Hotel. The hotel is about 40 kilometers away from Nanyue Hengshan, and the transportation is convenient. It takes one hour to reach Nanyue Hengshan. The hotel's third floor podium has the most famous local Lufu Restaurant, Shanggong Kitchen Restaurant, KFC, etc. It is only three kilometers away from the municipal government office. There are many parking spaces on the first floor of the hotel, but parking on the underground first floor is still inconvenient. The most important thing is that the hotel's service and cost-effectiveness are very high. It is very cost-effective to stay in this hotel for more than 300 in Hengyang.
