GGuest UserWorld class service! I feel very welcomed by the staffs even days before our trip. They are great at communicating with us and answered any questions and provided anything we needed! The room is so comfortable and aesthetic!! I didn’t wanna leave the room lol. There’s a complimentary bath and I picked the herbal bath. They prepared it very well by deep sanitizing the bathtub and brewing the herbal bath. We also did our laundry while we stayed there. There are a lot of traditional Miao Tribe clothes that we can put on and take photos for free. One of the staffs took photos for me and my family with their camera. She also helped me put on accessories. The view is amazing and the location is perfect for our stay. Their staff picked us up at the little north gate and carried our luggages all the way up to our hotel and they did the same baggage delivery service when we are leaving. Words cannot describe how thoughtful and excellent their services is. I will book this hotel again in our future visit to the Miao village and I highly recommend it to anyone!

DDreams2014I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time! The biggest highlight was the view; it was incredibly expansive, and the scenery changed beautifully from morning to night, which really lifted my spirits. The room was clean and comfortable, and the facilities were complete, making it feel just as cozy as home. I truly recommend it to everyone! The butler was also very thoughtful. Due to road maintenance at the scenic area's west gate, they even arranged a car to take us from the north gate to the west gate parking lot. The overall experience was excellent. If I come back again, this will definitely be my first choice! 👍

You can enjoy the night view in the evening, and in the morning, the smoke from chimneys and the sound of roosters crowing create a lovely atmosphere. I must say, even on a rainy day, the bedding and room weren't damp at all – a big thumbs up! The next morning, we went downstairs for breakfast, and the main dish was noodles prepared by the owner. The other items like eggs, milk, corn, sweet potatoes, pickled vegetables, and coffee were all delicious, and we got to enjoy them with a view. When we left, we forgot to tell the owner in advance to send our luggage to Xiaobeimen. The owner braved the rain and delivered it quickly, so we didn't have to wait long. We really appreciate it!

AAzhu100View: The location among so many high-end B&Bs is the best, comparable to an observation deck. Service: The room facilities and service are impeccable. All toiletries are from Acqua di Parma. If there's a vacant room, they'll upgrade your room type. Downstairs on the first floor is a cafe by day and a bar by night, and the latte for breakfast is delicious. All the amenities in the room are very thoughtfully provided. I stayed in Xijiang Miao Village for one day and one night, and basically didn't leave the room, just enjoyed the view from there. I'd say, I originally wouldn't come back to Xijiang Miao Village, but considering that 'Seven Letters' (Qifengxin Xuyan) isn't available anywhere else yet, I'd seriously consider returning just for it.

GGuest UserBooked this B&B with my mom for our trip to Miao Village. The room was fantastic, fully smart-controlled, with brand new facilities and a great view, really sunny. The owner, a young man, helped us with our luggage and the service was very attentive. We even got welcome fruits. Breakfast was a local specialty noodle dish, which tasted great with chili. Since it was the off-season, they upgraded our room for free to one with a big balcony overlooking Miao Village and the rice terraces. It's also very close to Wind-Rain Bridge No. 1. Highly recommend this B&B if you're visiting Miao Village!

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying at a guesthouse with such excellent service! The host even upgraded my room for free, and helped me with my luggage to the hotel. Every detail was fantastic. Next time I'm in Xijiang, I'll definitely stay here again. They can even deliver afternoon tea and sweet soup right to your room, and in the morning, they'll remind you about breakfast. Honestly, it's 5-star treatment, totally deserving of my 5-star review. I highly recommend this place!

GGuest UserI never expected the biggest surprise of my trip to be this guesthouse in the Miao Village! 💕 The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the observation deck. If you enter from the West Gate, you just walk a bit and then take the shuttle bus directly to the hotel. This is quite important in Miao Village, as you wouldn't want to carry your luggage up and down. You can enjoy the view from both the room and the lobby lounge. On a rainy day, this spot is perfect for enjoying the scenery, much better than being out with all the other tourists. The room facilities are very new and high-quality, definitely on par with a five-star hotel. The mini-fridge in the room is thoughtfully stocked with drinks, and we were even treated to afternoon tea upon arrival. Self-service laundry is also available, which was super convenient since our clothes were damp from the past two days – we could wash and dry them. The housekeeper was incredibly warm and friendly; she handled our transfers and helped us with our luggage the whole way. Breakfast is made-to-order, very fresh and delicious. If you're traveling to Xijiang, I truly highly recommend this guesthouse.

HHailiwoniuI highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

GGuest UserWe arrived in Xijiang and were immediately met with such a kind surprise—they upgraded our room for my birthday, which truly set the tone for our entire stay. We were on the third floor with the most wonderful view, looking out over their little water feature and the village beyond. Our balcony, complete with a tea set and two chairs, quickly became one of our favorite spots. Sitting there, especially in the evening, felt magical—like we were nestled among the stars overlooking the town.
The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the viewing platform and easily accessible down into the main village. Arriving was also incredibly smooth. As first-time visitors to China, we were quite nervous navigating trains and logistics as English speakers, but the hotel staff stepped in early with clear, thoughtful guidance. From the very beginning, they were attentive, responsive, and genuinely kind.
When we arrived at the North Gate after taking the shuttle into the scenic area, a staff member met us and carried both of our bags up the hill and stairs to the accommodation. This was such a thoughtful gesture—especially because the terrain can be challenging. (For future travelers: if possible, avoid bringing heavy suitcases—but if you do, you’ll be very well taken care of here.)
Check-in was seamless, and our room was extremely comfortable with all the amenities we needed. They provided water, soft robes, and made communication very easy via WeChat. Breakfast was also a highlight—we opted for the Chinese breakfast, which was light, healthy, and a perfect way to start the day before exploring all the incredible street food in town.
We especially loved the communal living space—a cozy café-style area with a balcony overlooking the village. It was such a peaceful place to sit, have tea, and take in the views both during the day and under the night sky. They also had everything you could need: a coffee maker, dishes, mugs, and even fresh spring water, which was a lovely touch.
The warmth of the people here truly made the experience unforgettable. The housekeeping staff were so kind, and the younger staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive. It really felt like being welcomed into a home rather than just staying at a hotel. And the little cats around the property made it even more special.
On our departure day, we were running late for the last bus, and one of the younger staff members carried my very heavy bag down the hill and practically ran with it to make sure we made it on time. He stayed with us until we were safely on board. That level of care and service is something we will never forget.
We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, thank you, thank you again to the family and the entire staff for your kindness and for taking such wonderful care of us. You made our short stay in Xijiang an absolute pleasure and a weekend we will remember forever.

GGuest UserI stayed in Xijiang Miao Village for two nights, and I'm so glad I chose this guesthouse. From my bed, I could overlook the stunning spectacle of a thousand households lit up at night. In the morning, opening the window revealed terraced fields and stilt houses shrouded in mist, like a traditional Chinese ink painting. The location is perfect – the surroundings are quiet, yet it's just a short walk to the bustling center of Miao Village. Plus, there's no need to climb stairs with luggage; the host contacted us in advance, guided us, and even helped carry our bags to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. Watching the thousand-household Miao Village from the balcony at night with a gentle breeze was an absolutely perfect experience! Every little corner of the guesthouse has a great ambiance: the outdoor balcony, rooftop, fire pit, and cafe. The room was clean and cozy, and the housekeeper provided attentive service throughout our stay. In the morning, there was a comforting breakfast, and the hot noodle soup was absolutely delicious!
