KKaryn SiewThis boutique hotel presents an amazing surprise in the depths of the Miao Village.
The rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art Smart Home systems. For example, one could control the curtains and lighting with verbal commands—in mandarin.
There was a slide and ball pit in our room, which was a bonus.
The bathtub is one of the largest offerings we have encountered and come with a herbal bath services that is included with the booking fee.
Whilst the hotel doesn’t have round-the-clock room service, one could ask the front desk for help with food orders by means of a local food delivery app. Our McDonalds order arrived within half an hour.
The hotel provides Miao traditional clothes for guests to wear and take photos, free of charge.
Last but not least, the hotel rooms provide a beautiful and unblocked view of the Miao village and the mountainous terrain.
The hotel crew that we met were extremely helpful, and would help provide additional lighting for night photo shoots, carry your bags, and also bring food to your room. Xiao Ning, Xiao Hai and Xiao Kai were really wonderful hotel staff who went the extra mile to make our stay most comfortable and memorable. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

The staff, noticing I was traveling with an elderly person, even upgraded my room for free – so thoughtful! They were also very responsive to any questions or issues I had. The hotel's location right next to Bridge No. 5 is perfect for exploring and finding places to eat. Plus, there's a super beautiful panoramic balcony. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

GGuest UserThe experience was full. I spent a long time choosing online and decided to settle on this one. When we arrived at the museum, there were 2 handsome guys waiting to help us with our luggage and lead the way. The bosses provided good service and the emotional value was full. After arriving at the store, I first saw the super beautiful night view, and there were many cute ragdoll cats in the cat room, all of which were fat and super cute. After arriving at the room, the hygiene was very clean, the facilities were very complete and attentive, and it was so comfortable to watch the night view and eat melon seeds on the balcony. I love this homestay so much that I didn't want to check out the next day👍🏻

GGrace W_WGetting from the scenic area parking lot into any hotels in Qianhu Miao village can be very challenging. You would need to walk over 600 meters with luggage, queue for a local shuttle, and then walk or climb stairs again to reach whatever hotel you book. As a solo traveler with my young daughter and two suitcases, this initially felt overwhelming when thinking about this idea .
I’m truely glad that I chose to stay with this hotel. Before we arrived, the staff proactively contacted me via WeChat and sent someone to meet us at the ticket checkpoint outside of the village to help with our luggage, and guide us onto the shuttle. This thoughtful assistance made a huge difference.
The hotel’s location was perfect, right next to the viewing platform. After getting off the electric shuttle, it took only one minute walk to reach the lobby. The views from the lobby, rooftop, and room are absolutely stunning. We didn’t need to visit crowded public viewpoints — enjoying the sparkling night view of the Miao village from our room was more than enough.
The Breakfast was generous and delicious, with surprisingly good coffee. A very good sour fish soup restaurant is located nearby. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. They patiently taught my daughter the Miao ethnic batik indigo dye — she loved it so much that she couldn’t stop. On the fifth floor, the hotel also offers a variety of ethnic costumes for photo shoots. Even after checkout, they still helped carry our luggage all the way to the parking lot, which was truly appreciated.
Although our stay was short, we could truly feel the care, attention to detail, and kindness from everyone at the hotel. Staying here felt more like being at home than at a hotel. We will definitely come back again and stay for longer. Strongly recommended!

YYujindaiwangThe views were absolutely incredible, even better than those from the observation deck! The service was also excellent. Since the guesthouse is located on the mountain, a butler provided pick-up and drop-off service for check-in and check-out.
The butler carried our luggage with impressive speed, while we, empty-handed, still felt a bit wobbly from the climb.
By the way, the Miao Village itself is quite commercialized and there wasn't much to do. Most of the joy from our trip to the Miao Village came from staying at this guesthouse.

HHailiwoniuI highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and equipped with smart controls, making it very comfortable and modern. It is the same as the picture. They had a lift too which is suitable for seniors and children.
The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with several parcel collections from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. At the last minute, they even helped purchase a birthday cake for my nephew from the city, which we truly appreciated.
The location is excellent, with plenty of food options nearby. It’s also a great alternative for families who want to explore the area without staying in the Ancient Town — dragging luggage and changing buses there can be challenging. Whenever we were tired, we could simply take a Didi back to the hotel, and it drops you right at the door.
Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

GGuest UserI saw a lot of Miaozhai B&Bs on the Internet, and finally decided Muliang. The decoration is very new and has a sense of design. The room is very clean and the boss is very nice. I upgraded the room with a balcony. The view is very good. I can see the night view of the ancient village when I lie in the room. No. 1 Fengyu Bridge is very close. The ancient street across the river is within walking distance.

When we arrived, we entered through the West Gate, and when we left, we exited via the North Gate – both were super convenient. We had pick-up and drop-off services for both ways, and they even helped with our luggage. The hotel also has great photo spots. The owner was very friendly, and the room was beautiful; you could enjoy the stunning views of the Miao village right from your bed. Plus, they offer a 1-hour Miao clothing experience! Super good.

GGuest User#Hygiene I'm a bit of a clean freak, and this hotel is newly opened. The toilets and everything else are smart and incredibly clean. The room was spotless, with even the hardest corners spotless. Everything was disposable, not the kind of towels that are reused – the owner was so thoughtful! #Location and Transportation I think it's the best location around here. The view is amazing; we climbed to the highest point to see it before choosing this hotel. It also has a balcony, and the breeze was so refreshing and comfortable! #Service The owner was very helpful, even helping us with our luggage. They were quick to get anything we needed and were very welcoming! Overall, this is the best hotel I've found so far. It's great value for money, and the hotel is clean and hygienic. ♥️
