GGuest UserSeriously, I have to highlight this: our butler was amazing! Super friendly, attentive, and always went above and beyond, paying attention to every little detail. The inn is located halfway up the mountain, offering unparalleled views. You don't need to crowd onto the public observation decks; you get to enjoy the panoramic views of the Miao Village all to yourself. We took the shuttle to the village's viewpoint, and it was so crowded and tiring. When we got back to the inn, we realized the private view from there was much more relaxing and enjoyable.
The room gets great natural light and was spotlessly clean. Both the balcony and the room itself are fantastic for photos, looking good day or night. The front desk even has fill lights available for taking portraits with the night view, so your own photos turn out beautifully. They also provided us with a tourist guide booklet. In the evening, the butler could even help us draw a bath, with options for milk baths or Yao ethnic baths. This inn offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

GGuest UserService: The day before check-in, the housekeeper contacted us to provide thoughtful check-in instructions and parking advice. From the moment we arrived at the scenic area's ticket gate, the housekeeper helped us with our luggage all the way to our room, and on our way back, they also helped us carry our bags to the exit. They even upgraded us to a spacious duplex room, thanks to Cola the housekeeper – truly excellent! 👍 Upon arrival, we were given an electronic or paper map of the scenic area, and they explained recommended sightseeing routes and attractions. We also enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea after checking in, perfect for photos. Most importantly, I had originally planned a professional photoshoot, but ended up DIY-ing two outfits from the hotel, which turned out beautifully, saving me hundreds on photography fees!
Hygiene and Environment: No need to elaborate, the location is superb, right at the viewing platform. You arrive as soon as you get off the sightseeing bus, which is very convenient. The best part is that you don't even need to leave the guesthouse to enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the Miao Village from your own room's viewing balcony or the hotel lobby's terrace.
Booking this place outside of holidays is definitely a steal – it truly lives up to its reputation! Many thanks to Cola the housekeeper for their thoughtful care.

GGuest UserI never expected the biggest surprise of my trip to be this guesthouse in the Miao Village! 💕 The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the observation deck. If you enter from the West Gate, you just walk a bit and then take the shuttle bus directly to the hotel. This is quite important in Miao Village, as you wouldn't want to carry your luggage up and down. You can enjoy the view from both the room and the lobby lounge. On a rainy day, this spot is perfect for enjoying the scenery, much better than being out with all the other tourists. The room facilities are very new and high-quality, definitely on par with a five-star hotel. The mini-fridge in the room is thoughtfully stocked with drinks, and we were even treated to afternoon tea upon arrival. Self-service laundry is also available, which was super convenient since our clothes were damp from the past two days – we could wash and dry them. The housekeeper was incredibly warm and friendly; she handled our transfers and helped us with our luggage the whole way. Breakfast is made-to-order, very fresh and delicious. If you're traveling to Xijiang, I truly highly recommend this guesthouse.

Ambiance: Very stylish design, especially the ground floor in the evening, which has a fantastic vibe.
Cleanliness: Spotless, on par with five-star hotels.
Service: The room butler was incredibly attentive. The staff member helped with our luggage the whole time, and communication via WeChat was prompt and responsive. The complimentary sweet soup at night and the nutritious breakfast were both excellent.
Location: Also very convenient.

GGuest UserEven though it was raining when we arrived and the cobblestone mountain path was a bit tricky to navigate, the butler came to pick us up and helped with our luggage. The room was newly renovated with a great aesthetic, and we had a view of the Miao village right from our window. When we checked in, butler Xiao Jiang patiently explained the map and recommended touring routes. Breakfast was also provided according to our preferences and dining times (my travel companion said the sparkling water was delicious!). The guesthouse is located inside the scenic area, making it very convenient to explore after checking in. This stay definitely enhanced our trip.

HHailiwoniuI highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and equipped with smart controls, making it very comfortable and modern. It is the same as the picture. They had a lift too which is suitable for seniors and children.
The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with several parcel collections from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. At the last minute, they even helped purchase a birthday cake for my nephew from the city, which we truly appreciated.
The location is excellent, with plenty of food options nearby. It’s also a great alternative for families who want to explore the area without staying in the Ancient Town — dragging luggage and changing buses there can be challenging. Whenever we were tired, we could simply take a Didi back to the hotel, and it drops you right at the door.
Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

GGuest UserI went during the May Day holiday. The room cost nearly 800 yuan. They said it was renovated in 2026, but I could still see traces of the previous hotel. It just goes to show how expensive it is during holidays. The only good thing was that the balcony really had a panoramic view of the Miao village, which was the only advantage! The cleanliness was so-so, and the disposable toiletries weren't good either. I can only say that the balcony view was worth the price! The breakfast was monotonous.

JJinkismA beautiful and memorable stay right in the heart of the old town. Although the accommodation is located higher up and requires climbing some stairs, it was not tiring at all because the staff kindly helped carry our luggage all the way from the bottom to the hotel.
The room itself was stunning, with large windows that offered the most breathtaking panoramic view of the old town. Honestly, it felt like one of the best viewpoints in the area. Every corner was picture-perfect.
The design was especially impressive, blending beautifully with the historic atmosphere through elegant vintage-style decor while still providing modern comforts. The amenities were complete, thoughtfully arranged, and equipped with smart automatic features. The shower was amazing too, with strong water pressure that made it extra satisfying.
The owner was warm and friendly, offering great local restaurant recommendations that made exploring even better. The location was also excellent, just a short walk from a nearby scenic viewpoint.
Perfect for anyone who wants charm, comfort, beautiful views, and an authentic old town experience.

GGuest UserFirst off, a big thank you to the luggage delivery staff. Our family of three had one large suitcase weighing about 40-50 pounds. The staff member carried it all the way from the Xiaobei Gate up to the hotel halfway up the mountain – a huge thanks again!
The guesthouse seems to be run by a few young people, and they put a lot of effort into it. All the toiletries are brand-name, not super famous brands, but still quite good for a guesthouse. The hairdryer is a Dyson, and the place is very clean.
Oh, and the afternoon tea and Miao ethnic clothing experience are both free, which was a lovely touch.
For breakfast, our family of three had three bowls of noodles, plus pastries, grains, and soy milk. They proactively offer tissues and remind you about breakfast, which is really thoughtful.
The most important thing is the view – all three photos I uploaded were taken from the balcony. If you're wondering about the scenery, just take a look yourself. There's also a scenic balcony, a swing, and a pool.
