The only downside is that parking is shared with other businesses, making it difficult to park on holidays and weekends, and getting out can be a hassle due to traffic congestion, requiring you to call and wait for others to move your car. The hotel is ideal as it is walking distance to the centre of the city and to many of the major sights of the city. The room was very spacious and clean and is one of only a couple of other hotels we stayed at in China where the cleaners made the bed. The room had all the facilities one would expect, although the internet connection was a bit weak. The breakfast was entirely adequate. The staff was at all times friendly and welcoming. Given the difficulty of making travel arrangements for a non-Chinese speaker, a hotel staff member actually accompanied us to the bus station to buy a ticket to Tianshui and insisted on paying the taxi fare.

I especially loved the breakfast; the steamed buns and beef noodles were homemade by the Hui Muslim staff. The companion was rushed to Linxia People's Hospital due to high altitude sickness. The hotel is a 2-minute walk from the hospital, which is very convenient. A very luxurious hotel, the room is large and clean, and the breakfast is rich. Checked in at midnight, the drain in the bathroom was blocked, soap suds came up when the water was drained. The next morning the room service asked the master to clear it.
