GGuest UserEnvironment: Guyan style homestay, the environment and decoration are great! The main entrance of the homestay is Dongmen Ancient Street, and the door is a variety of dining snacks. Facilities: The equipment and facilities in the overall room are very new, especially like the hot water coming out quickly. Hygienic: There are a lot of disposable items in the room, especially the bathtub bath supplies provided are very complete. Service: It is really called the butler's intimate service. The day before check-in, I will call in advance to add WeChat to provide self-driving navigation and positioning. Although the parking space is not particularly easy to find, the butler also sends photos to guide the route in time. The parking space is at the back door of the small courtyard of the hotel, which is very convenient! A complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and good night sweet soup are also provided. Overall it was a great homestay experience, if there is a next time, I will stay again!

Their panoramic rooms offer the only unobstructed panoramic views of the ancient village, a sea of scattered old houses. This perspective is truly unique! They even have their own panoramic viewing deck. Just brew a pot of tea, sit there, and gaze at the mountain scenery and village before you. The breeze will make you feel relaxed and refreshed. It's a truly refreshing feeling! The proprietress's photography skills are incredible. She can create stunning photos from any angle, and with the unparalleled views, you won't be able to fit them all into your Instagram feed; every single one is absolutely amazing! The location is also incredibly convenient. It takes less than two minutes to walk to the snack street. Wake up in the morning and head straight for the delicious local breakfast snacks. If you're visiting Guifeng, this B&B is a no-brainer. You won't regret it!

Facilities: The hotel facilities are remarkable, but don't compare them with the requirements of first-tier cities. I personally feel that they are still okay. Hygiene: Very clean, the aunt who cleans the room is friendly, thumbs up! Environment: Downtown area, convenient. Yong'an is where I was born. It can be said that I left my hometown, took root, and returned to my hometown. The surrounding environment is also friendly. Service: The service of the hotel's housekeeping department is great. I like all the room service including the front desk staff👍 The most ”exciting” part is here, and the key point is: it is not recommended to dine in the restaurant on the 2nd/3rd floor of the hotel. The service attitude of the catering department is really bad (note⚠️ I mean the dinner restaurant catering. The aunts who provide breakfast and cook flat meat rice noodles and noodles are super enthusiastic)! The story started when the hotel front desk informed that the restaurant was full that night (during the Spring Festival), but you can go to the restaurant to order dishes and have them delivered to the room. The waiter took us to the director of the catering department to order food. The director's reaction to the guests was to sit in his office chair and say, ”I'm busy and don't have time” (she can't even stand up in front of the guests, and can't do the most basic etiquette. How did she become this director? A relative?!) We didn't care much, and the waiter could only go to their manager. The manager gave us a menu. After looking at the menu, I found it a bit difficult (personal taste is used to authentic Cantonese cuisine, after seeing the mixed dishes on the pad). After the manager of the catering department heard me and my father say something, she suggested that if we feel that it is not suitable, we can go to the restaurant on the corner of the first floor. We immediately asked if the restaurant downstairs was of the same level of food, and the answer we got was: ”It's almost the same, our employees eat there.” But when we got downstairs, we were dumbfounded 🙄 a dimly lit small stall with worrying hygiene conditions. I really can't understand that a so-called four-star hotel catering manager still has such a poor understanding of customer needs when repeatedly asking guests to confirm whether the food is of the same level. We can only go back to the restaurant again and ask if we can introduce a nearby restaurant of the same level. The attitude of the waiter in the catering department was cold and impatient: ”Everywhere is full now, there are no seats, such as the old Yong'an in the street, Xi Xiangfeng, which are of the same level, but there should be no seats.” At that time, I was really angry. I thought, how could a four-star hotel have such a poor service in the catering department, especially during the Chinese New Year. The family had not been back to Yong'an for more than ten years. They went back happily to visit their relatives, but encountered such a bad thing. Afterwards, we also reported this situation to the hotel front desk, and the director of the housekeeping department also apologized to us (again, this matter has nothing to do with the housekeeping department), and proposed to send yogurt as compensation (I don't know if there is a tradition in domestic hotels to send yogurt to settle the matter, but we strongly refused), sister, I really don't need it. As guests, we are more inclined to believe that if this kind of catering service is not improved, it is equivalent to directly smashing the hotel's signboard, and a good housekeeping department will be implicated. Finally, we went to ”Xin Xiangfeng” for dinner. There is no harm without comparison. The catering service is enthusiastic and the dishes are well cooked. Next time I go to Yong'an, I will probably consider other four-star or above hotels. But I still want to say sincerely that apart from the issue with the food and beverage department, the entire stay experience was still good, and I would like to thank the housekeeping department and the front desk staff in particular. The facilities were complete and cozy, and the lake view from the balcony was amazing—so pleasant! The hotel staff were all very polite, always greeting us with a smile, even the chefs and room service staff. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming everywhere. GGuest UserA very nice B&B. It was converted from a private duplex villa. It was recently renovated, so it still has a little wooden feel. The equipment inside is also very good, and there are many small items given that are very practical. The attitude of the store and the waiter was very good. We were almost over for the buffet breakfast. I asked if I could bring it over to wait for my family to come down. The waiter said that it was okay, as long as it was not wasted👏👍. The location of the B&B is very good. It is very close to the ancient city, a 5-minute walk away. There are many attractions in the ancient city, including Minzhu Street for dining, which are all very close to each other on foot.

TTom FuzerNice hotel, right in the most attractive part of Taining town. It's a few minutes walk from the historic district, right on the river front. Easy access also to get to the natural scenic areas of the region. The hotel itself is nice, clean, well-maintained. The room is spacious and has modern features. The staff is very helpful, they do their best to accommodate a laowai customer. The only critique I have that is true for the vast majority of the hotels in China that the breakfast isn't exactly attractive for foreigners. One can of course eat Chinese breakfast with steamed buns and spicy soups and things like that most of the time, but occasionally I wouldn't mind to have a western style option available too. In a four star hotel I would expect this to be on the menu
