11385802****We decided on a last-minute hotel on our way back from a self-driving trip. The navigation was a bit problematic. We drove around for ages trying to find it. Finally, the housekeeper came to our rescue, hehe. The man was quite sweet. He said it's rare for guests to check in at 9:30. Seeing there were children, he even prepared extra breakfast for them the next day. The B&B is located in Dongmen Ancient Village. The decor is unique and truly stunning. The ancient streets aren't crowded at night, so it's quite pleasant to stroll around. International Sands. I've been here before. I love this hotel so much. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance!

11390179****Jiaojiao Fishing Villa has quiet accommodation, clean and hygienic facilities, and beautiful environment. You can enjoy the beautiful view of Dajin Lake from the window. It is very convenient to eat, live and travel. It feels like home. The boss and his family are very enthusiastic and arrange trips and help book tickets. When we can’t eat the fish soup and leftovers, the boss lady will take the initiative to help us keep them fresh for the next meal. , add some green vegetables to heat and eat, no charge, we spent the cost of one meal to eat two meals, the boss is very practical, like a family, and can talk about anything, take the initiative to make tea, help carry suitcases, etc. . The boss is good at cooking, and the fish soup, fish fillets, and duck are very well made. They are delicious and highly recommended. Thumbs up.

11395000****A very nice B&B. It was converted from a private duplex villa. It was recently renovated, so it still has a little wooden feel. The equipment inside is also very good, and there are many small items given that are very practical. The attitude of the store and the waiter was very good. We were almost over for the buffet breakfast. I asked if I could bring it over to wait for my family to come down. The waiter said that it was okay, as long as it was not wasted👏👍. The location of the B&B is very good. It is very close to the ancient city, a 5-minute walk away. There are many attractions in the ancient city, including Minzhu Street for dining, which are all very close to each other on foot.

WWunvshi888I'd been dreaming of visiting Guifeng Ancient Village for four or five years, all the way from northern Fujian to central Fujian. Finally, I made it! I hadn't checked hotels beforehand, but when we were almost there, we saw a B&B and chose it without hesitation. The service was fantastic, and I immediately called and joined the group chat to arrange everything. The drive up until 9 PM was like an adventure! The owner said he'd be waiting for me downstairs to take me on a small trail. Hahaha, I said, ”Don't worry, get in the car!” He joked, ”You sold me out and I didn't even know!” 😄 Then, after ten minutes of driving, wow! The ethereal scene before me captivated me! Then we were taken to Zhuangyuan Tower! In southern Fujian, there's a Mid-Autumn Festival tradition of playing the game of ”bo bing” (a card game)! I was immediately tempted to win! Zhuangyuan! 🏮! What captivated me most was that the room number I liked was the same as my phone number, 777. 🏮 Everything was perfect. 😌 This is truly a simple, peaceful village, devoid of any commercial atmosphere! It's even produced many celebrities! It's really a great place to produce talents! The Cai family ancestral hall of Chinese writers and calligraphers is here! The mountain road is long ~ it's really worth a visit! The boss lady and the boss are also very nice people. Their home is at the highest peak! Life is about climbing to the highest peak! TTom FuzerNice hotel, right in the most attractive part of Taining town. It's a few minutes walk from the historic district, right on the river front. Easy access also to get to the natural scenic areas of the region. The hotel itself is nice, clean, well-maintained. The room is spacious and has modern features. The staff is very helpful, they do their best to accommodate a laowai customer. The only critique I have that is true for the vast majority of the hotels in China that the breakfast isn't exactly attractive for foreigners. One can of course eat Chinese breakfast with steamed buns and spicy soups and things like that most of the time, but occasionally I wouldn't mind to have a western style option available too. In a four star hotel I would expect this to be on the menu

__FL302317****The service was average because there was no breakfast. The auntie who made breakfast quit and was looking for one. There were only McDonald's and KFC around (KFC didn't turn on the air conditioner, it was very hot). There were breakfasts sold at the intersection, but you could only take them back to the hotel, which was not very convenient. Everything else was good. It's not in the downtown area, but next to Wanda, there were many people. The food was not fancy, but it met basic requirements.

EEdwardOverall, the place met my expectations. It was a bit worn down, visible water damage in the shower, but nothing that looked gross or nasty to me. Overall, for what I paid, I was satisfied with it.
Breakfast was VERY underwhelming though. Don't expect much. It is very bare bones. Food is almost all gone around 8am and not replenished, so arrive by 7am-730am if you want anything to eat. But I'd recommend just getting food elsewhere.
Location is quite central to SanYuan District and is only a few minutes walk away from the riverside walkway/park.
