After we encountered a bad experience with a desert glamping resort in Dunhuang, we were a bit cautious with Dune when we booked it. However, after I communicated with the manager in Dune via WeChat, I was more confident as he was very polite and helpful. He helped us to booked a transfer from Turpan Airport to Dune resort. As our flight arrived Turpan in the evening, it was late when we arrived at Dune. The manager and another staff came to the entrance of the driveway to welcome us and helped us with our luggage. They took us straight to our tent, and they upgraded us to a bigger tent, too. We woke up to this beautiful Kumtag Desert Sand dunes, right in front of our tent! It was so beautiful. As the off peak season started, we were the only guests there but the staff were serving us with delicious breakfast and dinner. The food was delicious and plentiful! The manager and staff were very attentive to our requests. One of the staff has helped us to arrange a local guide/driver to take us to the Kumtag desert for an exciting ATV ride and sand sliding. We had a great time. We ended up hiring the same guide, a pleasant and calm Uygur young guy to take us for some sightseeing and dropped us back to Turpan. I would say to anyone who is looking for a real desert glamping, please come to Dune in Shahshan near Turpan instead of Dunhuang.

The hotel accommodation area is a row of townhouses. Each villa has about five or six rooms. The sand view king room we booked is arranged on the second floor. It has a small balcony and can see the sand view~ I was actually very satisfied with the environment when I first entered the hotel. When I checked in, I was given a small bag of dried fruits as a souvenir. I felt like I made a lot of money to book such an exquisite hotel for more than 200 yuan. The car was parked directly outside the villa and there were flowers in the small yard. It drives beautifully! However, after actually moving in, I still felt that the facility maintenance and services were lacking: 1. The TV in the room is very large, but unfortunately it only has a TV signal. You can adjust the TV station to watch, but it can’t connect to the Internet. You can’t watch online TV or cast the screen. The beautiful manager enthusiastically came to adjust it for us for a long time, but it still didn’t work. 2. You must know that most of the people who come to stay here come for the Kumtag Desert, so the first thing to do after playing in the sand is to take a shower. There was no hot water when we took a shower, so we called the front desk. Only then did we realize that the water heater had tripped. Of course, this could be because we were unlucky... We couldn't take a shower until half past twelve. 3. Still taking a shower, I finally had some hot water to take a shower. As a result, 2 of the 3 boxes hanging on the bathroom wall were empty and there was no shampoo. It was too late and I didn’t call the front desk. If the water heater tripped, it was luck. Problem, if the toiletries are not replenished in time, it can only be due to insufficient maintenance services. 4.Breakfast is a bit basic When I finally checked out, the lady at the front desk gave me a cute cat pendant. The overall service was still very good~

It is a very good hotel with high cost performance. The room is also very clean without any odor. When I encountered a problem, the front desk solved it for me immediately. It is also on duty 24 hours a day. The front desk lady is also very attentive. The room is fully equipped. I personally think it is very good~

We traveled with our pet by car and stayed in a special twin room (no window) on September 8, but other facilities were complete, new, clean and hygienic. I had a good sleep and was very satisfied. Thank you for being pet friendly. The area around the hotel is safe, clean and not cluttered. There is an open park diagonally opposite, which is very convenient for walking the dog. The front desk service patiently reminded us how to use the smart phone in a thoughtful and meticulous manner. The room is spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and the mattress is thick and will not be disturbed by the springs. The bathroom has a large washbasin, the shower has all the necessary functions, the water pressure is high, and the toilet has an intelligent heated flush that requires no manipulation. Smart lighting makes it convenient to turn on the lights at night, and Xiaodu voice wake-up the air conditioner is also convenient. There are too many advantages to list here. Next time I go back to Xinjiang, I will definitely stop in Hami and stay at this hotel again.

Shanshan New Town Hotel is the most cost-effective, the sanitation is also very clean, the sound insulation of the room is very good, the room is cleaned and disinfected, the linen is very comfortable to sleep, very clean, the bathroom is also fragrant, the shower is very comfortable, the water temperature is very good, very fast. The price is really high. The service is also very good. The hair dryer is very easy to use, the facilities are very complete, it should be a barbecue at the New Town Night Market, it is very convenient to eat, drink and play.

How should I put it? This hotel is the best hotel I have ever encountered in this price range, no doubt about it. Moreover, the children like the hotel's breakfast very much. They want to eat more even if they are full. It really helps me solve the problem of children's meals 😂😂😂 The free pick-up service is very friendly to people like us who travel independently, and the manager is very gentle.

The facilities are brand new, and the hotel is very clean! We were given watermelons upon check-in, and the front desk lady was incredibly friendly and available 24 hours a day! We checked in late at night and were completely comfortable. The hotel is surrounded by a plethora of amenities, including restaurants and a mahjong parlor. The night market is nearby, and there's a barber shop if you don't want to wash your hair. It was a truly worthwhile night in Xinjiang, and the price was incredibly reasonable. If I hadn't been short on time, I would have stayed longer. I'll definitely be back next time!
