Shiyan Hotels with Breakfast

The mountain retreat after a heavy snowfall perfectly captured the essence of the place! The owners were incredibly welcoming, running around busily, providing transportation and even offering hot Huangjing water as soon as we arrived. The next morning, they delivered it directly to the cable car station! The children had a blast playing in the snow; the snow was plentiful, and we happened to arrive at sunset. The owner quickly called us over to look, and the breathtaking beauty of nature truly left no room for words. I must say it three times: the food was delicious! The food was delicious! The food was delicious! The big yellow dog at the restaurant was so friendly! I'd recommend installing underfloor heating; it would be perfect!

Finally got to Wudang Mountain for some much-needed relaxation! This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The hotel's ambiance is fantastic, especially the large terrace – the view is breathtaking. On a clear day, seeing the distant mountains and sea of clouds instantly brings a sense of peace. The room itself is designed in a new Chinese style, with thoughtful details, and the bathroom looks very high-quality; it was a really comfortable stay. Beyond the beautiful scenery, the overall experience was top-notch! In the afternoon, there's complimentary Shenshi tea, perfect for sitting down, sipping tea, and chatting – so pleasant. Breakfast was also delicious, with a rich variety of fresh options that left me feeling energized. You can also catch the sunset over at Nanyan Palace. The biggest surprise was the free Tai Chi class! Practicing Tai Chi with the instructor on the terrace in the evening, with the sky above and mountain breeze, was incredibly therapeutic. The instructor was very professional and responsible, correcting postures hand-in-hand and patiently guiding us, so even beginners could quickly pick it up. The service throughout was superb, making us feel completely at home. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Wudang Mountain!

This hotel/retreat is an incredibly special place, and I feel so grateful to have come across it in my travels, as it will hold a special place in my memory! I have a strong feeling that I will be back (possibly many times!) in the future. I cannot say enough good things about it, whether it be the beautiful architectural design of the buildings and landscaping of the property, the gorgeous cafe, the zen-like room aesthetic, the calm and nourishing atmosphere of the whole place, the incredibly kind staff, and the nourishing and delicious food (which is made with great attention and care paid to the ingredients (most of which are grown on the farm), and their healing principles according to the elements and Chinese medicine nutrition)). There are free evening healing offerings too, including sound healing, card reading, and other thing, which bring guests together to experience collectively as well, in a beautiful retreat center room. The cafe/lobby building is such a pretty and welcoming space, one could easily spend hours enjoying a conversation or reading a book, or petting one of the many adorable cats that roam the property. Even walking along the meandering path to the hotel from the main road is a beautiful experience, winding through tea fields in this magical valley at the base of steep mountains surrounding it. I have stayed at a number of hotels in China during my travels, but this place is by far my favorite of all of them, for its authentic feel and heartfelt warmth. It truly is a uniquely powerful place for healing and restoration, nestled in such a picturesque, quiet hillside of Wudang mountain!!

If you're planning to take the cable car up and walk down, this is the place to stay. The location is excellent, right next to the Taizipo Station. We arrived and checked in on the first afternoon, and the next morning we had noodles here before taking the cable car to the Golden Summit. The guesthouse was very clean, and the bedding and bathroom amenities were of high quality. On the day we arrived, the owners were making handmade tofu for Chinese New Year – it smelled so good, I couldn't resist ordering a bowl of tofu pudding. We ordered several dishes for dinner, and the uncle cooked them very well. The owners and their family seemed very kind and simple. When we left, the uncle was carrying a basket of oranges down from Taizipo and kindly offered us some to take on the road… Most importantly, the owners never asked us for a review. So, being the rebellious person I am, I had to give them a long and enthusiastic review!

The experience of staying at the homestay was very good. The environment of the homestay is very beautiful. The weather is good these days. Although it is cloudy, the sun is just right. Sitting on the terrace and watching the mountain view in the distance, the clouds are lingering, like being in a fairyland. Its location is very good, the traffic is very convenient, the station is very close, the overall environment is still quiet, not noisy at all, there are many restaurants around. During the stay, the room was clean and tidy, and the service was particularly intimate and responsive. The butler enthusiastically made tea for us, and presented a breakfast the next day, which made people feel very warm. It was a very comfortable stay experience and worth recommending.

The location is fantastic, just a one-minute walk to the right from the cable car's upper exit. It's incredibly convenient for watching the sunrise. You can easily catch it from the hotel, next to the tea house, or from the viewing platform which is just a 10-minute walk away. The hotel even provides the sunrise times and recommended departure times. Breakfast and lunch are both available, so you'll have something to eat when you get back. The front desk staff are meticulous, providing timely tips and quickly resolving any issues. The owner is incredibly warm and thoughtful, both practical and meticulous, yet so welcoming 🌹. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. Thank you! Wishing them a prosperous business and all the best.

The room is simple and cozy, clean and comfortable, with soft bedding that makes you feel relaxed. It's very quiet at night. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the local food is delicious. The hotel front desk helped us plan a very practical travel itinerary, saving us from taking too many unnecessary detours. They even thoughtfully reminded us to bring motion sickness patches and medicine, as the winding roads up Shiwangwan Mountain are particularly challenging for those prone to motion sickness.

Very satisfied journey, it should be the most exclusive hotel in Danjiangkou, the facilities are very new, a total of 20 or 30 rooms, very clean, the environment is not to say, the focus is on the housekeeper, meticulous care, and the restaurant's dinner tastes very good, got everyone's unanimous recognition!

The location is good. The hotel parking lot is a one-way street, so those coming from the main road should follow the parking lot signs. There is a square and a museum on the side of the hotel. Those who sleep lightly at night should tell the customer service in advance (there are exercises in the morning and amusement facilities in the evening).
