Wenchang Hotels with Breakfast

Paid another 100rmb upon check in to upgrade to a twin bed room, which was not available on Trip.com at the time of booking. I liked that the room was rather spacious, and the breakfast had a pretty nice chinese spread. Location of hotel is also very near the railway station. However, one of the beds was very dirty, with stray hairs and other weird threads on it. Couldn't be bothered to get a change of sheets for just a one-night stay, but this was quite unexpected considering how clean the rest of the room was. There are also no convenience stores near the hotel, but this was mitigated by the fact that you can basically call delivery for whatever, whenever, and the hotel robot would bring it up to your room. Another point - there's no hair conditioner provided and the shampoo provided, whilst smelling good might dry out your hair a bit. Service at the front desk was no frills, not particularly welcoming but the breakfast staff were nice and kind. Still a pretty decent one night stay in Wenchang.

Clean & comfortable stay with excellent service and facilities. Great for families. Hotel lobby was cosy with sufficient seats for guests. Rooms size are big and I enjoyed the shower room music the most. This was a challenging trip for me as I brought my aged parents back to Wenchang to visit our relatives. I would like to take this opportunity to than k文昌麗枫酒店,服务经理陈 and 维修工程师for the exceptional service during our stay. Due to my dad’s age, size and mobility challenges both hotel staff 服务经理陈 and 维修工程师assisted us. Thank you so much. I have recommended this wonderful hotel to my friends and Hainanese relatives. If I do go to Wenchang again文昌麗枫酒店 with be my top choice.

The hotel environment is really great, with simple yet stylish decor. The common areas are clean and tidy, and the hallways are quiet and noise-free. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and well-maintained. The bedding is comfortable, and the air conditioning, hot water, and internet are all very stable. The attention to detail is excellent, making for a very comfortable stay.

Short bus ride from Wenchang railway to hotel. Good location, next to river. 7 floors with 1 lift. Laundry has 1 commercial dryer and 1 washer, very efficient. Room n hotel generally clean, tastefully furnished. Our room has balcony facing river. 2 single beds, 2 bedside tables, 2 sofa chairs, 1 desk with chair, 4 pillows, clean and comfortable. Separate bath/toilet, big size, bath & face towels provided, floor towel mat. Std amenities, but paper cups. Disposable room slippers, but no bathroom slippers. Water drainage good. Breakfast little choice, not so good. Better to eat in Lao Ba Cha few doors away. Plenty of parking space. Good location. Nice to do river walk. Night markets about 10 mins walk away. Easy to take buses.

The hotel has a great location and convenient transportation, with various restaurants nearby. The hotel rooms were clean and tidy, and the front desk service was attentive, proactive, patient, and sincere in assisting us with any problems we encountered! I don't know the last names of the two young ladies at the front desk, but they both worked the early shift on March 10th, and I must give such excellent staff a thumbs up 👍👍. Their very friendly, polite, and thoughtful service made our trip very enjoyable 😃! The hotel definitely deserves full marks 💯

If you're coming to see a rocket launch, this Holiday Inn Express would definitely be my top choice. The location is superb, very close to the beach, so you can walk there to watch the launch. The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and Xiao Ou (staff member) was polite and professional. Check-in and check-out were seamless with no waiting, and any requests were handled quickly.

A very high hotel, right on the seaside of Gaolong Bay in Wenchang, very close to the sea, only a ten-minute walk away. The hotel rooms are very clean, well-lit, spacious and bright, the hotel price is not high, and there is free parking in front of the hotel. The hotel takes 20 minutes to drive from Wenchang city. Fortunately, there is a seaside night market 20 minutes walk from the hotel, where you can buy seafood processing, coconut chicken, and dregs vinegar. The overall environment is suitable for vacation travel.

The rocket launch on February 11th can be seen from the sea view balcony of Gaoliang Bay B&B. My sister watched it from the B&B, but it was not very clear due to the haze. I went to Longlou for a closer view. However, Longlou is not as cost-effective as Wenchang. If the weather is good, watching the rocket launch in Gaoliang Bay is more cost-effective! The housekeeper took the initiative to send a travel guide. A satisfying trip 😎

Aijing International Hotel in Wenchang 2024/02/06-08 Front desk not really helpful. Just want you to go as it was the whole time ”OK, OK...” and ”I'll take you to your room”... But no help with luggage, nor an answer if the kitchen would have something for me to eat... I sent my list of allergies (gluten, dairy, egg, honey and soy) to the hotel's wechat the evening so that they could give it to the kitchen... First room: The fridge was not cold. Bathroom floor wet and entrance floor dirty 😰 The manager came and was friendly and helpful. He helped me with my luggage to another room 8505, which was larger. Here the fridge was also not really making cold and switched off when going out. They couldn't give an extra card for electricity. In the morning the manager showed me the different food at the buffet that I could eat, but I never received the pork etc, he promised the previous evening, for breakfast nor answered my message when I asked if I should wait for it... For breakfast I could eat the fruit and in a steam basket a piece of corn-on-the-cob, sweet potato, yam and taro. They also had corn flakes. Interesting they had 3 milk options: cow milk, soy milk and coconut milk... The second evening I spent an hour on Wechat with reception to find out if the kitchen could prepare something for me with my allergies - I did give it the previous evening.... Then I went for a walk on the beach... When I came back, they hadn't prepared the fish! The manager gave me a coconut with a straw to drink the juice... So I only wasted my time to find out if they could prepare something - I did give them my list in Chinese of what I cannot eat...😰 Luckily I always have some food with me... The fish tanks are outside the dining room so you can choose your fish fresh.... As in most places in China 😊 Swimming pool was empty. Good comfortable beds. Down duvets. Nice spacious room with little balcony, but balcony has a concrete wall, not glass to see through... From the premises you go directly onto the beach! Very nice quiet environment away from the crowds! After the fireworks at 21:00 the outside lights were switched off and then you only hear the sea... If you do not have transport, it is a bit far, but if you want to go and rest for a few days, away from crowds, then this is a good place 😎🤠🌻🏝️🏖️ Thete are charging facilities for electric cars... @

I discovered Haian Jincheng Hotel online, and after seeing numerous positive reviews highlighting its great value for money, I decided to book a standard queen room. The hotel lobby was quite grand, and the front desk staff, Ms. Li, was incredibly warm and welcoming. She enthusiastically recommended the hotel restaurant's specialties, such as poached Wenchang chicken and healthy tofu, and even upgraded me to a deluxe queen room free of charge! The service was truly thoughtful. My room was impeccably clean, and the view from the bay window was stunning. Its location is excellent, being only a little over a hundred meters from Wennan Old Street. The spacious parking lot made coming and going very convenient. The room rates were very affordable, truly living up to its reputation for excellent value for money. I'll definitely be back here on my next trip to Wenchang!
