Medan Hotels with Breakfast

The moment I opened the room door, I was immediately impressed! The bed was clean, thick, and came with soft, plush pillows – it felt amazing to just collapse onto it after a long journey. The large window, with its pristine white curtains and sheers, framed a charming armchair and coffee table set in the corner of the room. I left the curtains open all night, allowing for a clear city view. The service was incredibly prompt, and the staff were very responsive and efficient. My request for an extra pillow, due to my back pain, was immediately fulfilled. What I had anticipated from an Aston group hotel, and indeed, what I found at Harper Hotel Wahid Hasyim by Aston, was a diverse and delicious breakfast spread. While perhaps not as extensive as some larger Aston hotels, for a hotel of its class, HARPER HOTEL BY ASTON IS THE BEST!! The hospitality of every hotel employee was also incredibly satisfying! Friendly, full of smiles, and helpful! It's absolutely great! As a tour operator, I highly recommend this hotel.

We had 2 night gate away here, Fantastic stay 💕💕💕💕💕!!! Breakfast superb! Beach is gorgeous view , facilities are top knot ! I had a lot of pretty photos taken here in the hotel area. Every corner is fabulous photo spot !!

I stayed here because the hotel close to train station & shopping mall, besides there is a vegetarian restaurant next to the hotel which is very convenient for me as a vegetarian. All the staffs were very friendly and helpful. Room was not big enough but it’s ok. Food was not bad as well.

Hotel opened in 2023, still consider new and in good condition. Room is clean and spacious. Breakfast is nice and variety desserts to choose. Good location, Sogo is within walking distance. Overall comfortable and enjoyable trip.

I recently stayed at Emerald Garden Hotel in Medan for 7 days and 6 nights, and overall it was a comfortable and pleasant experience. The location is very convenient, making it easy to travel around Medan for food, shopping, and meetings. The hotel environment is quiet and relaxing, which made it suitable for both business and rest. The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. Housekeeping did a good job every day, keeping everything tidy and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, which is important in Medan’s warm weather. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and whenever I needed assistance, the team responded quickly. The breakfast selection was decent, with a mix of local Indonesian dishes and simple international options. It was a good way to start the day before heading out. Facilities like the swimming pool and gym were also available and well maintained. Overall, it was a pleasant 7-day stay, and I would recommend Emerald Garden Hotel to anyone visiting Medan for business or leisure.

Very clean hotel, altho i don’t like the room design, but i love tje cleanliness, they have hood amenities and big resto. We love to spend pur morning enjoying their coffee shop. The front office staff are all friendly, the allow us to store out luggage before check in and after check out.

I always choose Ibis Pattimura when I first landed in Medan because mostly I took the late night flight from Kuala Lumpur. The reception was good and overall service was good. But one thing that is always happen is the noises on the corridor (people talking, kids running on the corridor) and its not sound proof and it caused me lack of sleep. Hopefully the management taking action on this matter or the security or housekeeper staff will regularly check the floor to avoid this bothering noise from neighbours room or corridor.  Thank you Trip.com to provide platform to raise voice or small spaces to provide feedback

No hot water in the shower, a little bit seems dirty/ broken in the bathroom and it doesn’t give the feeling of real luxury, but for this price I think it’s very good still. You have a restaurant which is open 24/7 with friendly servers. The pool is shared by hotel guests with people who pay for usage of the pool, looks clean enough. Staff helped to bring luggage to the room. The location of the hotel is good, it feels a little bit less developed around the hotel tho, but there is a nice mall nearby, maybe 5 minutes with the car.

I wish I could say it was ideal, because the hotel has the potential for that - but unfortunately it's not exactly that. The location is super, the building is what you can expect from an ex-Radisson hotel, but the problems with the cleanliness and the very aged bed linen left me a far from perfect first impression. Plus, at 4pm they still didn't have my room ready and asked me to wait 10-15 minutes. After escalating the problem to the manager I got a better room and from there on everything was OK, but the welcome was not at the level I expected.

I had a pleasant one-day stay at Grand Sakura Hotel in Medan. The location is quite convenient, making it easy to get around the city and explore nearby attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a good space to relax after a day of travel. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. While the facilities are fairly simple, everything was functional and sufficient for a short stay. Overall, it’s a good value-for-money option for travelers looking for a comfortable and hassle-free place to stay in Medan.
