Guest UserConveniently located from the train station (though we used Grab).
Loved the availability of WatsApp with the hotel, they responded promptly.
Despite 1 set of toiletries for 2 guest, seemed a little silly.
The housekeeper are always very kind to provide more when requested.
Excellent masseuse at the Spa on L2.
Breakfast buffet is sumptuous though the 'top up' is slow after 9am.
Centre point Centre shopping mall is just right behind the hotel.. with variety of f&b, shops & korean supermarket.

Guest UserWe stayed here this time for 3 nights. We had stayed here a couple of times before. The hotel maintains its hospitality, warmness and courtious reception of customers. It was quite easy to check in and out. The staff from front desk to housekeeping were friendlyand warm. There are little things that should be paid attention to such as the menu for breakfast.. Although the spread is good but there should be some variation/changes. Overall staying here you get value for your money.

è„żèćNo hot water in the shower, a little bit seems dirty/ broken in the bathroom and it doesnât give the feeling of real luxury, but for this price I think itâs very good still. You have a restaurant which is open 24/7 with friendly servers.
The pool is shared by hotel guests with people who pay for usage of the pool, looks clean enough.
Staff helped to bring luggage to the room.
The location of the hotel is good, it feels a little bit less developed around the hotel tho, but there is a nice mall nearby, maybe 5 minutes with the car.

azmismeIt is a good hotel but needs to maintain its facilities. Food was good too. It says new normal but they are stuck at covid still with the barriers at the reception. Posters about covid are everywhere.

Overall, the best! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a doorman, the receptionist is friendly, and the room is clean. My only minor complaint is that it's not very soundproof, so I could hear the housekeeping staff cleaning the room next door. Other than that, everything else was great. The breakfast had a good variety and tasted delicious, and the location is strategic. I've even been able to check in early without any extra charge before. I've stayed here many times and will likely continue to be a regular guest. Keep up the excellent work! đ

Guest UserThe stay was below expectations as several room facilities require proper maintenance. The bathroom door and shower were damaged, and the toilet bowl was not clean. In addition, the furniture appears old and worn out, making the room feel outdated. I would recommend that the management carry out renovations and regular maintenance to improve cleanliness, comfort, and provide a more modern experience for future guests.

The apartment is very spacious, which makes it a great choice, especially for family gatherings. The room was very clean, and the price is very reasonable for the size and value offered.
However, the apartment would benefit from some updates, as the mattresses feel quite soft and old. Replacing the mattresses, pillows, and blaket would significantly improve comfort and make the stay even better.
Overall, this is a good place for families looking for a spacious and affordable stay, and with a few upgrades to the bedding, it would be perfect.

I recently stayed at Grand Sakura Hotel in Medan, and overall, it was a decent experienceâespecially for the price.
The hotel is located in a pretty strategic area, making it easy to get around the city and access nearby attractions, shopping spots, and transportation. Many guests also highlight the convenience of its location and accessibility.
The room was spacious and fairly comfortable, with basic amenities like air conditioning, TV, and WiFi. Cleanliness was generally acceptable, although some areas could use better maintenance and attention to detail.
One of the positives is the staffâthey were mostly friendly and helpful during the stay, which made the experience more pleasant. The breakfast offered a decent variety of food, though sometimes items were not refilled quickly during busy periods.
However, there are a few downsides. Some guests have reported issues like noise (especially from air conditioning units), occasional maintenance problems, and inconsistent service at the front desk. The facilities are also quite basic, so donât expect anything luxurious.
Overall, Grand Sakura Hotel is a good budget-friendly option if youâre looking for a simple and convenient place to stay in Medan. Itâs best suited for short stays or travelers who prioritize location and value over luxury.
