They got me the highest floor which is great, and special type room, love it!
Most of the things u need are provided except slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste.
I think most rooms can see the pier view.
The first night, some birds, maybe, or someone shooting fireworks at my window making loud noises and I can see some flash lights out the window. Scared die me.
Food: free breakfast and dinner.
Breakfast was great, dinner ok but love breakfast more.
Trip.com says the bottle water are free, but in fact they will be charged. I didnât notice that and took one, before check out, just saw the pricing list(ď˝° ď˝°;)
Location: a bit tricky to find the ENTRANCE! When u see the building, TUR RIGHT! To the right u can find the real entrance( the front one is no longer in use).
very convenient, located at the heart of Bergen, the Bergen museum is next to the hotel. The fifth photo is very close to the hotel. A few minutes walk to the mountain tram station.
By the way, u can ask the front desk and get the key for accessing the roof top( third and fourth photo)

AAnonymous UserSound proofing of the rooms are real bad. If you are to leave the windows open for ventilation as there is no air condition unit, you will not be able to have a restful night as those rooms facing the street can hear the noise of the people talking and laughing, vehicles noise, garbage truck till very late into the night and early in the morning. Even if you are to close the windows and bear with the poor ventilated room, you can still hear the noises from the street.
Otherwise a decent hotel in a good location. Service is lukewarm and just average.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good. It takes about 2 minutes to walk to the Bryggen area and about 5 minutes to the cable car. However, the location of the hotel is not like the houses in Bryggen. It is in the first row of the river bank. Most of the reservations should not be visible. For river views, our room is on the fifth floor and we can see the interior of the house opposite, as well as a little bit of mountain view. Because the hotel is in the second row, it is a bit uphill, and the surrounding is also a stone road. If you have to drag luggage, it will be a bit hard, and it is even more difficult to drag in the snow. It is better if the luggage is not too big and heavyďżźđ¤Ł( Especially the luggage loss rate at Bergen Airport in winter...it can happen to anyone...) However, there is an elevator inside the hotel.
The breakfast in the hotel is very rich! When traveling, there are many different types of bread with jam, cheese, etc., as well as salmon, elk meat and other choices. There are also many coffee and tea bags, highly recommended! In addition, there is a free rest area in the hotel that provides unlimited coffee, hot tea, etc. for internal use and takeaway, which is very good!
We booked the most basic standard double bed room, and the room was very spacious! The room size and price are pretty good for a room like this in Norway. There is also a sauna and a small gym in the hotel, and the service staff are very kind.
You can take the light rail No. 1 from the airport to the hotel, but be aware that the light rail seems to disappear after one o'clock in the morning. Although the airport board still continuously displays tram schedule information, because we and many people waited from one o'clock in the morning to 1:30 the day before yesterday... Finally I had to spend about 700 kroner to take a taxi to the hotel. Then when I wanted to leave the hotel and go to the airport, I walked for 10 minutes to the light rail station. There was a notice saying that it was not open. I had to walk for more than 1 minute to the bus stop next to it. There is an alternative tram. The bus arrives at the airport (there is no such information on Google Maps). You can also take the FB 50 bus to the airport near the hotel, but the bus is not as frequent as the light rail, so you still need to pay attention to the time.

KK. SamuraiThe location is so close to Bryggen, the UNESCO world heritage site, and there are many food options around in this area. Their breakfast was so delicious (especially salmon) and the room was clean and warm. I can highly recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserWe had a lovely stay at Scandic Torget! The location is so convenient as you are within walking distance for many tourist/sightseeing spots. Tour busses usually do pick up on the same street as Scandic Torget so that is super convenient too! Only thing is that on the weekends it can get a little bit noisy from midnight to 4AM. But overall we had an amazing stay and would recommend staying at Scandic Torget!

FFelix-guoThe check-in service was excellent! Since our flight was early, we were quickly assigned a room upon arrival, and we were very satisfied with the orientation and floor.
The breakfast was definitely worth trying; the ambiance was fantastic! The selection was also abundant, a real treat for salmon lovers. Overall, a wonderful experience.
I especially want to emphasize the hotel's superb location! It's a 10-minute walk from the Fløyen Mountain cable car entrance and a 10-minute walk from the fjord cruise ship boarding point. The views are breathtaking, and you don't need to allocate a long time for the port to board in the morningâyou can have a leisurely breakfast and then walk over, which is great!

GGuest UserPERFECT. The hotel is central, behind the fish market, next to the old port, right in the market area. They gave us a free upgrade and provided us with the sea view room. If I had known what kind of view that room had, I would have chosen it from the start because at night, there is no better view of the old port than from that room. The room was modern and spacious, as was the bathroom. Regarding breakfast, you won't miss anything; on the contrary, there were many delicious options. The staff were extremely polite, always smiling, and ready to answer all our questions. I couldn't have lunch at their restaurant because they were closed, but I will do so when I visit the city again. My experience was excellent. I urge you to book rooms with a sea view.

It's a bit pricey, but if you're willing to walk a little further, you could consider taking tram line 1, which I believe also goes to the airport. It's also quite close to the fish market, within walking distance. The room is a bit small, but European hotel rooms generally aren't very big, so it's acceptable.

GGuest UserMy 2nd stays when visit Bergen on October 2022 and April 2023 both visit are for 3 nights each stays. I love Thon hotel because the breakfast was amazing, so many varieties of food and delicious. The room is very nice and clean and comfortable beds. Shower room is nice and the adjustment of the water is perfect. I love the chocolate they serve in ours first check in. Delicious. Parking is not free but easy access. The hotel is located in the heart of Bergen old Town, only walk about 2 minutes from the lobby, beautiful Maria Church also 2 minutes from the lobby, definitely will come back...strongly recommend đ you can watch my channel about all hotels I recommend on WTLJ YouTube, thanks đ

KKit manFor a tourist without car, it is in excellent location, 7 minutes to railway station to/from airport on foot with luggage n railway ticket just cost nok44 , walking distance to cable station to Floyen mount or Bergenhus or Ferry pier and shops. I reserved a small room but got a room of good size with windows and sofa. There are supporting staff in reception always and they can help me for my enquiries. They can provide electrical kettle at request. Coffee is free in lobby. Breakfast is also good , simple with good choices. I will reserve it if I will visit Bergen again.
