AAToiI recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Hotel No.13 in Bergen. While my room lacked windows, it was comfortable and cleaned daily, making it a pleasant place to return to after a day of travel. The absence of a window didn't bother me much, as I spent most of my time exploring the city. The check-in and check-out staff were notably friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The daily breakfast included in my rate was basic. What truly stands out is the hotel's convenient location which is near Byparken Station and walkable distance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. It is a historic wharf with colorful wooden houses dating back to the 14th century.

VVeVer AtcharinThe location was quite good, with easy walking access to the main sightseeing area of the city. The room was not very spacious, and there wasn’t enough space to fully open a large suitcase. The bed was also a bit too soft for my preference. What surprised me most was when I asked to borrow a bottle opener for some beer I had bought myself. The reception did lend me one, but mentioned that they normally do not because the hotel sells alcohol on-site. I had never experienced this kind of policy before, especially since most hotels also sell alcohol, often at higher prices, and many even provide bottle openers in the room. Guests should not feel restricted to consuming only what is sold by the hotel.

KK. SamuraiThe location is so close to Bryggen, the UNESCO world heritage site, and there are many food options around in this area. Their breakfast was so delicious (especially salmon) and the room was clean and warm. I can highly recommend this hotel.

KKit manFor a tourist without car, it is in excellent location, 7 minutes to railway station to/from airport on foot with luggage n railway ticket just cost nok44 , walking distance to cable station to Floyen mount or Bergenhus or Ferry pier and shops. I reserved a small room but got a room of good size with windows and sofa. There are supporting staff in reception always and they can help me for my enquiries. They can provide electrical kettle at request. Coffee is free in lobby. Breakfast is also good , simple with good choices. I will reserve it if I will visit Bergen again.

TTwilightmeiI love everything about this hotel!! It was exceptional especially for the breakfast, i can’t help but be so greedy that i ate everything served. (don’t worry there were no food waste!! everything went directly to our belly🤣) we got free room upgrade as well with amazing view. at night we played some board games to spend time as outside was too cold

GGuest UserThe hotel has a great location, right near the pier. Although the exterior is European-style architecture, the rooms are modern and simple. The rooms are spacious enough to easily accommodate two large suitcases. Room cleaning was very prompt. The restaurant is indeed beautiful, and the breakfast is quite plentiful. The staff are all warm and attentive. Parking was done in the hotel's recommended parking lot for over 47 hours, costing 467 kronor. I don't know about any discounts, just for your reference.

GGuest UserPERFECT. The hotel is central, behind the fish market, next to the old port, right in the market area. They gave us a free upgrade and provided us with the sea view room. If I had known what kind of view that room had, I would have chosen it from the start because at night, there is no better view of the old port than from that room. The room was modern and spacious, as was the bathroom. Regarding breakfast, you won't miss anything; on the contrary, there were many delicious options. The staff were extremely polite, always smiling, and ready to answer all our questions. I couldn't have lunch at their restaurant because they were closed, but I will do so when I visit the city again. My experience was excellent. I urge you to book rooms with a sea view.

GGuest UserNote: This is a review for Thon Hotel Bristol Bergen where we actually stayed. We were relocated due to unforeseen issues from Thon Hotel Orion. Location: Literally in the center of town and only a 2-minute walk to the harbor and fish market. Although it could get a bit noisy at night as it is located right next to McDonald's. Cleanliness: Cleaning and house keeping were very good. Service: All service staff was courteous, friendly, and professional. Since we were involuntarily relocated to a different location by Thon Hotel due to hotel issues, I must say that the change was smooth and hassle free. The booking staff of Thon Hotel was also very helpful. Facilities: Excellent breakfast services with lots of varieties. Gym room is also available. Room itself is spacious and adequate space for luggage.

NNtyjessicacacacacaNice! They got me the highest floor which is great, and special type room, love it! Most of the things u need are provided except slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste. I think most rooms can see the pier view. The first night, some birds, maybe, or someone shooting fireworks at my window making loud noises and I can see some flash lights out the window. Scared die me. Food: free breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was great, dinner ok but love breakfast more. Trip.com says the bottle water are free, but in fact they will be charged. I didn’t notice that and took one, before check out, just saw the pricing list(ｰｰ;) Location: a bit tricky to find the ENTRANCE! When u see the building, TUR RIGHT! To the right u can find the real entrance( the front one is no longer in use). very convenient, located at the heart of Bergen, the Bergen museum is next to the hotel. The fifth photo is very close to the hotel. A few minutes walk to the mountain tram station. By the way, u can ask the front desk and get the key for accessing the roof top( third and fourth photo)
