Scandic Bergen City ★★★★
"The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, the location was close to the city center, and the breakfast had a great variety. We had a super comfortable stay! A perfect 10!"
Hotel Norge by Scandic ★★★★★
"The hygiene level is poor, and there are a lot of hair and black spots on the sheets. I stayed there twice, and each time I was given an elevator room/street-facing room. There is a bar downstairs in the hotel, which is very noisy and does not stop until 3 or 4 in the morning. The overall cost performance is not high"
City Hostel Bergen ★★
"I booked a place in a hostel 2 weeks before my trip. Usually, when planning a trip, you study a lot of information and may miss something. In this case, I didn't notice in the description that I was booking a place in a women's room, and only found out about the mistake at the reception when they refused to check me in. When I made the reservation, I provided my personal information, including my gender. The accommodation provider confirmed my reservation without verifying the information, which should have been done if there were any restrictions. They refused to refund my money. It was the peak season, so there were no available rooms, and I had to spend a lot of money on a different accommodation."
Prize by Radisson, Solheimsviken Bergen ★★★★
"Good for the prize. 5 mins walk from tram station. Situated on uphill a bit. Nice room and view. Easy checkin."
Bergen Hostel Montana ★★
"Good stay"
Skostredet Hotel ★★★★★
"New room, absolutely fantastic."
Citybox Bergen Danmarksplass ★★★
"Nice place for a solo trip if you are looking for a place to crash ."
Ole Bull, Best Western Signature Collection ★★★
"Excellent for this hotel, strong recommended, near the pedestrian street, and the staff at counter is so helpful, he assisted us to book a taxi from hotel to airport."
Hotel Park Bergen ★★★
"The hotel is located in the old town, but the rooms are quite old and dated. We booked two rooms, both on the third floor (the equivalent of the fourth floor by Chinese/US numbering). Access was via a very narrow, winding wooden staircase, which made hauling luggage up incredibly difficult. I strongly advise guests with large suitcases or elderly travelers to avoid this hotel. Breakfast was just okay, and the dining area is tiny, probably struggling to accommodate 20 people at once."

Scandic Kokstad
"Good Location Good Room Good Breakfast"
Haukeland Hotell
"I think this was a really nice hotel. Comfortable bed and room. I really liked the desk and chair. Good breakfast. The only thing I didn't like is that unlike most other hotels, when leaving the room you need to lock the door yourself by swiping the keycard on the lock. The location is a bit remote, but on the other hand this is a great "base camp" if you're planning to hike Mt Ulriken for example. And the walk to the city center is only 30 min or so."
Bergen Børs Hotel
"The hotel has a great location, right near the pier. Although the exterior is European-style architecture, the rooms are modern and simple. The rooms are spacious enough to easily accommodate two large suitcases. Room cleaning was very prompt. The restaurant is indeed beautiful, and the breakfast is quite plentiful. The staff are all warm and attentive. Parking was done in the hotel's recommended parking lot for over 47 hours, costing 467 kronor. I don't know about any discounts, just for your reference."
Scandic Flesland Airport
"Clean and neat. Able to enjoy throughout the entire stay. Will come back."
Scandic Ørnen
"Stayed one night. The room had a lovely view, hotel is in a great location. Breakfast is not bad"
Zander K Hotel
"Located just besides the train station, very convenient if you are doing the Bergen-Flåm railway trip. Room size is adequate for 3 nights stay. Free coffee is available at lobby. Laundry service is available free of charge at sister hotel (Grand Hotel Terminus) next door, 1 washer and 1 dryer. Breakfast spread is adequate, only one or 2 hot items changes daily. Gym is very well equipped. Overall a very pleasant stay at Zander."
Scandic Torget Bergen
"The hotel's location is excellent, right by the harbor, and within walking distance to all the attractions. Our third-floor room offered a view of the colorful houses of Bryggen across the water, though the water itself was blocked by the fish market buildings. Perhaps higher floors would have a direct view of the water. The room was neither big nor too small, and came with a kettle, tea bags, and instant coffee. The shower space was a bit cramped, but the water pressure was decent. The service was great; they were very accommodating. We found the room a bit cold, so we called down for an extra duvet, which was delivered quickly. They also proactively offered to raise our room's maximum temperature setting to 23 degrees Celsius (from the previous 19.5 degrees). We were very comfortable for the rest of our three-day stay."
Scandic Neptun
"Great location, good and very spacious room, and nice staff."
Moxy Bergen
"The showerhead in the room was broken, and the cleaning staff should have noticed it during their routine checks, but they didn't. I had to take a cold shower, which is unacceptable for a hotel costing over 2000 NOK a night. The breakfast was also quite poor. I'm not sure why Trip.com prominently features this hotel in Bergen; among all the cities I've stayed in Norway, this one had the highest price and the worst service."
Clarion Hotel Admiral
"Window had a view on other rooms. Very bad isolation for noise. Th mattress is very old and should be replaced. Breakfast was good with a lot of local specialties."
Citybox Bergen City
"Check-in and check-out are both self-service. It's about a 6-7 minute walk from Bergen train station, and there's a supermarket and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. Staying on a higher floor was quite quiet. The room was relatively clean, though a bit small – just enough space to open a 20-inch suitcase. Also, note that the room door doesn't lock immediately when closed; you have to wait a moment."
Magic Kloverhuset Harbour Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals
"The hotel offers a really beautiful harbour view, which was one of the main reasons we chose to stay here. Waking up to the scenery was truly enjoyable and added a special touch to the overall experience. However, our stay was unfortunately disrupted by a sudden electricity outage in the room. As a result, we had to move to another room with no view, which felt like a downgrade from what we originally booked. The process of unpacking and packing again, especially during a short trip, was quite inconvenient and unpleasant. While we appreciate the staff’s effort to assist with the room change, the situation did affect our overall comfort and experience. It would be great if better contingency arrangements could be made in the future to minimise disruption for guests."
Quality Hotel Edvard Grieg
"The hotel was unexpectedly beautiful, with a stylish design and great natural light. The room we booked was a bit small, and the facilities were new. The chair in the room was uncomfortable and slipped down when you sat on it, and the sink drain was clogged. As with most hotels, there was only body wash but no conditioner, slippers, or toothbrush sets. The room didn't have a kettle, but you could ask the front desk for one. The breakfast was very rich and exceeded our expectations. Parking was cheaper than in most areas."
Scandic Byparken
"It is in a good location. Staff are friendly. The rooms are clean."
