Service: The service here is absolutely perfect, all the staff are super good and very caring. People want to stay for a few more days and will come back again! In addition, breakfast is ordered, very delicious, reaching the level of the brunch store, not the boring and unpalatable buffet. There are a lot of foreigners, I feel that many people come here, and I heard that some people have stayed for the second time. The location is in the city center but quiet in the middle of noisy. There are many small restaurants in the small streets. Because in summer, many locals eat in the open air, which is very comfortable.

Extremely central, everything is within walking distance including the light rail from the airport. Clean functional room with fridge and very comfy bed. Excellent breakfast, self service with a huge choice, very tasty. All the reception staff were friendly and informative, I wish I could have stayed longer.

Stayed with a small group (four) in two business rooms. Appreciated the extra space and facilities. Breakfast was excellent, catered for vegetarians (but would like to see veggie sausages in future please). Common areas of hotel were excellent including lobby and lounge. Cleaning was excellent. Maintenance needed to change sofa covers in room which was stained.

Eva wong1129I originally booked a Deluxe City View Room with a balcony for two nights, from the 10th to the 12th. However, due to a canceled overnight train, I needed to check in a night earlier, so I booked a Standard Room for the 9th on the same day, as I would be arriving very late.
Since the two bookings were for different room types, I checked out on the 10th and switched to the Deluxe City View Room with a balcony. But I was extremely disappointed! When I entered the deluxe room, I found it was exactly the same as the Standard Room I stayed in last night. So, I went to the front desk to inquire if there had been a mistake. Why were the deluxe and standard rooms identical?
The front desk staff member who responded initially said he wasn't entirely sure, as he wasn't a permanent employee there and was just helping out (though his attitude was fine). After several inquiries, he told me that Room 306, which I was in, was indeed a Deluxe City View Room. I pointed out that the pictures on Trip.com showed a balcony, but my room didn't have one. He then told me that only three rooms in the entire hotel have balconies, and those balconies are shared with other rooms! I found this quite absurd! However, there were no other rooms available, and I didn't want to ruin my travel mood, so I reluctantly accepted it.
If I hadn't added that extra night in the standard room at the last minute, I wouldn't have had a comparison and wouldn't have encountered this unpleasant experience.
I don't know if this is a problem with the platform's information or with the hotel itself!

The old hotel has a vintage feel and a tranquil atmosphere, with many details and historical artworks. It's conveniently located right next to the station. The breakfast is plentiful and varied, and you can enjoy the view and watch people go by from the window.

ryetravelsComfort hotel is easy to locate. It’s in the city centre. Walking distance from the port, old town, malls, pubs, restaurants and many more. The staff were helpful and always in smile and help to meet the needs of the clients. Plus, the breakfast was delicious, rich and fresh. I have no complaints in overall. My room was clean, in a quiet area and far from the lift. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely comeback here when in visit again Bergen!

Anonymous UserAbout an 8-minute walk from Bergen Station, and a 15-20 minute walk to the Bryggen area, this hotel boasts a great location. As it's a self-check-in hotel, the price point is very reasonable, making it perfectly adequate if you just need a place to sleep. It's clean, and even though it's self-check-in, you still see hotel staff around. I used the porter service for a fjord tour, and my luggage was properly stored in the baggage room.

Very central hotel with amazing friendly staff.
Breakfast was excellent along with the dinner we had there one night. 15% off restaurant meals for guests was a nice touch.
Beds were comfy but as in previous reviews the room could do with more lights as the only lights in the bed section of the room were 2 bedside lights.
We would return in a heartbeat though.

It was the most interesting hotel in my itinerary. Haha, it looks like it's been years.
The location is easy to find. It is just two intersections from Bergen train station. The houses on the side of the road have house numbers on the walls. You can see where you are at a glance. The wall on the right hand side of the door is a full-length password box. The hotel will send an email to Ctrip in advance to inform the room of the corresponding password box password. Turn on the password to get the key card. Like playing the decryption card, this card is used to open the door and the door of the room. When checking out, just put the card back in the box and close it, and you can scramble the password.
I booked a double room by myself and went in to find three single beds. However, this hotel also has an induction cooker, a microwave oven, a kettle and a bunch of kitchen utensils. You can make your own meals, but you must remember to turn on the range hood. Other facilities are quite complete.
The hotel elevator is also very interesting. If you want to take the elevator, you must press and hold the elevator for a long time. Otherwise, the elevator will not respond if you only release it by pressing it.
Basically located in the city center, the main attractions of Bergen are a few minutes walk, the surroundings of the hotel are also very good, the streets and alleys are quite sensational. Bergen is a small city, but it is well worth a visit. It is very convenient to stay here and it is recommended.
