Anton8019This is a perfect hotel in Pattaya. It's located just 10 meters from the entrance to Central. The room is spacious with high ceilings, a designer feel using quality materials, and top-notch appliances. There's a washing machine with a 60-minute drying function, an iron, and an ironing board – everything is well-thought-out down to the smallest detail. Breakfast on the 2nd floor of the hotel is delicious, with fruits, always watermelon, Asian soups, noodles, and rice. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. We made dinners in the room, buying European cheeses, yogurts, and Australian beef steaks from Central and BIG C. If you don't feel like cooking, there's a night market just 3 meters away. The hotel also offers free shuttle service to various city locations; you can sign up at the counter near the entrance. And most importantly, there's a good quality, firm mattress, new linens, and a quiet environment – a good night's sleep is guaranteed. I highly recommend it; I will only stay at Somerset from now on.

Guest UserOur first time here and we were so impressed! We came for our wedding anniversary with our 5-year-old, and the service and care we received were exceptional. The room was lovely. We ordered BBQ to our room, and it was so worth it – very generous portions. Breakfast was great, and the pool was fantastic. Every single staff member, from every department, was incredibly welcoming. Thank you for making our special day even more memorable! This will definitely be our family's go-to hotel from now on. We used to stay at other 5-star hotels, but from now on, every trip must include The Gems Mining 🤍

Guest UserBefore coming, I was a bit worried the hotel might be a bit old, but it actually exceeded my expectations. The water park is definitely the highlight; both older and younger kids can spend an entire day playing there. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety, but for someone with a Chinese palate, it was a bit picky. Only one day did they have mangosteens, which was a real treat! The hotel has direct access to the beach, which is very convenient. Wherever you go, a taxi ride didn't cost more than 25 yuan.

三樹The hotel has a new wing and an old wing. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff are very considerate. The balcony pool view is superb, and there's free parking and two swimming pools. It's a bit more relaxed than the city center, but attractions are close to the beach. The value for money is unbeatable, especially with breakfast included!

Guest UserEverything was simply wonderful! The hotel's location is excellent – everything is within walking distance: shops, massage parlors, currency exchange. Room cleaning every day! Towel changes and lovely pillows ☺️. The staff at the front desk, both the ladies and the gentleman, were responsive and friendly. I highly recommend it; the value for money is just amazing 🔥. I've been staying at this hotel for 12 days now 👌.

We booked this hotel for a two-night stay, arriving late around 22:00. While we originally booked a small twin room with no balcony, we decided to upgrade to a Junior Suite with a balcony upon arrival.
🛏️ The Room & Comfort
The Good: The room is exceptionally large and completely pest-free (no bugs, roaches, or bad smells). The bed is excellent, featuring a large, comfortable mattress with fresh white bedding and a warm blanket. Sockets are conveniently located in every corner.
The Bad: Our second-floor balcony sat directly above a designated smoking area. In the shower, it was hard to make the water just warm, it was always either too cold or too hot.
📺 Appliances & Tech
WiFi: Did not work upon arrival, though staff resolved the issue by the second day.
Television: Very old, non-smart TV with no Netflix, YouTube, or international channels. The screen flickered constantly, making it look like a bad 90s video filter.
Air Conditioning: Old and noisy, but it successfully cooled the room down very quickly.
Kitchenette: Includes a microwave and a stove, but no pots or frying pans are provided. You must bring your own cookware if you plan to use the stove.
🍳 Dining & Breakfast
Served buffet-style and tasted amazing.
Features plenty of eggs, chicken, pork, fresh/cooked vegetables, fresh fruit, and baked goods.
But there were no seafood or fish available.
🌳 Hotel Grounds & Location
Ambiance: Very cozy, traditional Asian-style property decorated with beautiful elephant statues, koi carp ponds, and fragrant blossoming trees.
Unbeatable location. A 7-Eleven is less than a 1-minute walk away. Jomtien Beach and the main bus terminal are both a short 5-minute walk. Local songthaew run directly past the hotel.
🔄 Verdict
We would happily stay here again for a short-term visit, but the outdated electronics and shower issues might make a long stay frustrating

The hotel is large and spacious, with a lush, shady environment. The rooms are exceptionally clean. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and the service is excellent. The air conditioning in our room was a bit noisy, but when we informed the staff, they fixed it immediately. The swimming pool is huge, and the kids absolutely loved it!

Guest UserI recently stayed at the Welcome World Beach Resort & Spa in Jomtien Beach, Pattaya, and I'd definitely recommend it.
The hotel is located on Jomtien Beach, just across a small street from the ocean. It's surprisingly quiet despite being in a lively area. The rooms are very spacious, and the twin beds are quite generous, about 1.25 meters wide each, so it didn't feel cramped even with two kids.
The public areas of the hotel are also pretty good. There are three swimming pools, which kept the kids entertained for an entire afternoon. Around the hotel, you'll find 7-Eleven, snack stalls, and plenty of restaurants, making it very convenient.
Most of the guests here are Russian, with very few Chinese visitors. Consequently, the breakfast largely caters to Western tastes, which wasn't quite to my liking.
Overall, for the price, it's an excellent choice, especially for families with two children.

Anonymous UserThe location is still great. I stayed here before when I was on a budget trip. The room isn't huge, but it's very clean, so if you don't have high expectations, it's pretty good. The tuk-tuks on the street outside can be a bit noisy at night, but it's bearable. There's no breakfast, but you can store your luggage, and the front desk service is excellent. The Wi-Fi wasn't great, and the air conditioning was old-fashioned but quite cold.

Guest UserThe hotel may need to improve its advertising and provide more accurate information.
I went to the 7th floor, but unfortunately it was not accessible because it had been completely damaged by a fire.
The swimming pool was also disappointing. There were no towels available, and if you asked for one, you had to pay extra.
Overall, the hotel was not bad, but it definitely needs more work and improvement.
