The front desk and hotel staff were all very welcoming and polite. The room was clean, there's free parking, a swimming pool, and the breakfast was excellent. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, it's only a 5-minute walk to Pattaya Beach, and there's a mall right across the street. The area is really bustling!

My family and I stayed in the two-bedroom Sapphire Pool Villa at The Gem Pool Villas Pattaya during the Chinese New Year, and the overall experience far exceeded our expectations. From the service and environment to the smallest details, everything was impressive. It's safe to say this has been one of the most satisfying resort choices in recent years. **Service Experience: Warm, Thoughtful, and Welcoming** Even with a significant number of guests during Chinese New Year, the service team maintained incredibly high responsiveness and patience. From guiding us at check-in to attending to our daily needs, the staff consistently wore smiles and proactively offered help, allowing us to genuinely feel the meticulousness and warmth of Thai service. It's especially worth mentioning that the hotel also created a cozy festive atmosphere during Chinese New Year, making us feel at home even when abroad. **Breakfast Experience: Exquisite, Diverse, and Daily Surprises** Breakfast was a major highlight of our stay! Not only was there a rich variety, but the menu changed daily with hardly any repetition. From traditional Thai noodle soup and mango sticky rice to pastries, fresh fruit, and made-to-order omelets, the quality was consistently excellent. Staying for several days, we woke up every morning with anticipation, and our child absolutely loved it too. **Environment and Design: Grand, Elegant, and Full of Holiday Vibes** * **Inside the Villa:** The two-bedroom layout offered expansive space, with a design that blended modern aesthetics with a resort feel. I particularly loved the living room area (as shown in Figures 1 & 2), where large glass windows brought natural light indoors. The pool and lush greenery were just outside the window, making dining or relaxing at the table feel incredibly open and uplifting. The decorative floral arrangements on the table, the exquisite chandeliers, and the wooden furniture all reflected the hotel's tasteful aesthetic. * **Hotel Public Areas:** The path leading from the villa to the public areas (as shown in Figure 4) was surrounded by dense tropical plants, like a stroll through a tranquil rainforest, offering great privacy. The hotel entrance at night (as shown in Figure 3) had warm lighting and was shaded by trees, embodying both the relaxation of a resort and the serenity of home. **Facilities and Details: Quality Online, Meeting All Family Needs** The villa came with its own pool, and the water quality was excellent, allowing us to jump in and cool off anytime. The kitchen facilities were fully equipped, suitable for simple meal preparation. Overall, it was very well-maintained, with new furniture and bathroom fixtures, and meticulous hygiene. The two bedrooms were thoughtfully laid out, each with an independent bathroom, making it very convenient for families. **Conclusion** If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing resort in Pattaya that doesn't prioritize sightseeing, The Gem Pool Villas is definitely recommendable. It might not be right on the busiest beach, but this tranquility, combined with attentive service, thoughtful breakfasts, and a beautiful environment, truly made for a perfect vacation. It's especially suited for families or two to three friends traveling together – sunbathing by the private pool, strolling along the green paths, and chatting late into warm, lit-up nights – that's what 'holiday vibes' are all about.

It is a family woth kids hotel. Ideal for kids at all age group to come and enjoy their holiday. Food and drinks are on the expensive side though. The check in and check out counter needs improvement; too long waiting time and the attitude of the concierge is not on the positive side. All other staffs did their best at their duties to make sure guests enjoyed their stay. We love our suite rooms. But activities are focused inside the hotel only because should you leave the hotel with your car, you will immediately loose your parking spot and you will need to search for another that is a very far walk to the lobby or a very tight one. We can feel the effort of the hotel to manage the high volume crowd. All in all, the stay was a 5 star, our kid enjoyed so much we came more than once already. Ps. Some food vouchers were given when booked directly from the hotel, but excluded when booked from Trip.com. We felt a bit let down by this.

Excellent hotel. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach, and there are plenty of cafes and bars nearby. The small night market is also just a 5-minute walk away. The hotel has two small pools and a restaurant with reasonable prices. The breakfast was delicious, with rice, various meats, sausages, pancakes, yogurt, dried fruits, and fresh fruits like pineapple, watermelon, and papaya. The only thing missing was pastries. The room had a bathtub, a balcony, bathrobes, and an umbrella. The cleaning was good (for Thailand). Overall, I recommend this hotel.

We stayed here in July 2026. The location is super, but there's currently construction happening right next door for a large hotel. While the noise wasn't too bad, construction dust was an issue. We had a car and parked it in the garage, but every morning it was covered in dust. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but quite small; we would have preferred something bigger. Also, there was no kettle, no glasses, and no cups. The pool was a letdown. While most pools smell of chlorine, this one had an odd, vinegary smell, like some kind of chemical agent was present. We didn't swim in it for the last two days of our stay.

We booked this hotel for a two-night stay, arriving late around 22:00. While we originally booked a small twin room with no balcony, we decided to upgrade to a Junior Suite with a balcony upon arrival. 🛏️ The Room & Comfort The Good: The room is exceptionally large and completely pest-free (no bugs, roaches, or bad smells). The bed is excellent, featuring a large, comfortable mattress with fresh white bedding and a warm blanket. Sockets are conveniently located in every corner. The Bad: Our second-floor balcony sat directly above a designated smoking area. In the shower, it was hard to make the water just warm, it was always either too cold or too hot. 📺 Appliances & Tech WiFi: Did not work upon arrival, though staff resolved the issue by the second day. Television: Very old, non-smart TV with no Netflix, YouTube, or international channels. The screen flickered constantly, making it look like a bad 90s video filter. Air Conditioning: Old and noisy, but it successfully cooled the room down very quickly. Kitchenette: Includes a microwave and a stove, but no pots or frying pans are provided. You must bring your own cookware if you plan to use the stove. 🍳 Dining & Breakfast Served buffet-style and tasted amazing. Features plenty of eggs, chicken, pork, fresh/cooked vegetables, fresh fruit, and baked goods. But there were no seafood or fish available. 🌳 Hotel Grounds & Location Ambiance: Very cozy, traditional Asian-style property decorated with beautiful elephant statues, koi carp ponds, and fragrant blossoming trees. Unbeatable location. A 7-Eleven is less than a 1-minute walk away. Jomtien Beach and the main bus terminal are both a short 5-minute walk. Local songthaew run directly past the hotel. 🔄 Verdict We would happily stay here again for a short-term visit, but the outdated electronics and shower issues might make a long stay frustrating

The hotel is large and spacious, with a lush, shady environment. The rooms are exceptionally clean. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, and the service is excellent. The air conditioning in our room was a bit noisy, but when we informed the staff, they fixed it immediately. The swimming pool is huge, and the kids absolutely loved it!

We had a great stay here , the room itself was great. Very spacious, cozy and modern at the same time. The restaurant offers a huge variety of different options although the breakfast was the only average part. The swimming pools are nice and well looked after and the massage bed beside the pool is a very nice touch. I recommend everyone to try it at least once. The staff was very nice, cheerfull and very much helpful and ready to assist us in any matter. The gym was very underwhelming for me as the equipment is very very limited and it’s not a 24h gym as other hotels around here offer. The hotel is located by the beach so that is a big advantage as well. Overall I enjoyed my time here and I praise the staff for the wonderful hospitality and the smooth service they provided us.

This hotel is in North Pattaya, right next to a hotpot buffet, which I never got a chance to try. The prices can be a bit inconsistent though; I managed to snag a great deal for my three-night stay. Pattaya is a lovely place. I only realized there was a gym on the first floor when I was checking out today – I hardly spent any time at the hotel, to be honest.
