Santa Barbara Hotels with Breakfast

The room was clean, the location was great, and the staff was friendly. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to the beach and the convenience store. Free parking was also excellent! Our stay was fully booked, so it was very quiet at night.

The breakfast was very rich, the service was very good, very stylish, the room had more than sixty square feet, there was a dining table, living room, fireplace, jacuzzi, kingsize bed, the boss was very good, there was free parking, we arrived It was late, almost eight o'clock, she prepared tea and red wine for us. The hotel is basically a big garden. It can be seen that the boss has spent many years sorting out the arrangement. Get up during the day, walk in the garden, sunbathe on the sun loungers on the lawn, read the book, very comfortable. Take the No. 1 road and stay here for one or two nights before going to LA.

I called before arriving, asking about the bedding. I told them I was traveling with 91 yr. old mother and 67 yr. old sister. I am 71. They offer 1 queen and told me extra double would be very comfortable. It was a pull out couch. When you remove the cushions from sofa, there is a note pasted on the pull out that my sheet are in a bag in the closet. The pull out was metal springs. The bag has a top, bottom sheet and pillow with no case, 1 blanket. It took 5 layers of padding to make it sleepable. All 3 of us left for the entire day and when we arrived to the room at 6:30 p.m. our used towels were still on the floor and trash cans were full. Fresh towels were delivered to our room from the common open area, not thru the hallway. This stay was not what I expected of Marriott Residence Inn at $346.00 per night plus $15.00 per night for parking. Oh and there is a sign before you enter the hallways that tell you if your car is vandalized, Marriott is not responsible. Welcome to California in 2024.

The front desk is very strict. You must have a visa card to stay. At the restaurant at the door, I bought breakfast with breakfast. It used to mean breakfast deducted with $50. You can order it yourself. The restaurant is delicious The highlight is the pool, you will love the experience here....a large piece at hand. The pool is warm water. The hotel itself is very different in the way it blends in with the neighborhood, pretty nice in style and not what I was expecting for a Best Western. The hotel isn’t too far from the city center but also not close enough (which is why I gave a 4), but it is very very nice. I also gave a 4 for amenities only because I wasn’t able to use them as it was less than 24 hour stay, and I wanted to experience the city more. Overall, I did like it, comfortable bed and pillows and I believe I could have slept much longer if I didn’t have an 11am check out 🤦🏽♂️🤣. But overall I was satisfied and the staff both office and cleaning were very kind and helpful. ❤️ Santa Barbara is a very beautiful city and BW gave the right price for my stay. 👍🏽

The hotel is small, but the location is in the rich area, very comfortable; The staff is also very enthusiastic, but after leaving the store, I was not very happy to charge an extra fee of a few hundred yuan. I wrote an email to ask what tax was charged less, but the hotel now received less money and deducted credit card money without notifying me. It was very untrue; Breakfast is equal to no coffee and fruit every day and doughnuts

Room facilities are simple and like this style. There are great pools and bars in the public area. The hotel is located in the center of Barbara and is very convenient to walk to the main street. You need to drive to the beach and charge $30 a day for parking.

Great location but the rooms are very small.

The parking at $40 a night plus tax is too high, but other than that it was a lovely stay. Pool and hot tub were great and a nice relaxing atmosphere by the fires they light at night.

With many rooms available on Wednesday, I don't understand why they gave us a room furthest from the central restaurant. We had to walk through another building to get to it, and it faced a cricket ball site. The room wasn't even square; it was slanted. I was a bit disappointed. During check-in, the receptionist talked a lot, seemingly oblivious to whether we understood, which was very pushy. At breakfast, the waitress insisted we sit in her assigned seats, which was uncomfortable. Most ridiculously, the bathroom was terrible. I don't usually give hotels bad reviews, but this night's experience was truly unpleasant. The only positive was the hotel's dinner restaurant. The waiter service was excellent, and watching the sunset outside the window was pleasant.
