On the day of our check-in, due to a shortage of beds, the hotel did not provide us with the King bed we had booked and instead gave us a Queen bed. The next day, when we requested a King bed again, they required us to pay a cleaning fee to switch room.
The room’s carpet and sofa were covered with many stains!
The front desk staff generally lacked professionalism.
As our room was on a high floor, there were two nights when it seemed like there was a draft, creating unsettling noises. We requested the apartment to send someone to inspect it, but the hotel informed us that the apartment did not have professional maintenance staff. Not only did he leaves work at 5 PM, but the so-called maintenance personnel was actually a security guard.
However, there were some positives, such as being in one of the tallest apartments and having a good location.

Finally, after my talk at the front desk last night, I got a room with a balcony today. Actually, several rooms share a balcony, but I finally got rid of the sealed double-glazed ** yesterday, which is rare. Some rooms on the balcony have no smoking signs, while others don’t. I don’t know what they think. The toilet is the first time I have seen it in Fu Village. I used it in Kyoto, but it doesn’t spray water and is useless. The manager came to see it and changed the battery, but it didn’t work. He could only say that someone would come to fix it tomorrow, but no one came when I checked out. The manager is still very dedicated. He sat on the toilet and tried again and again. I really worry about his suit. I personally tested that the balcony door cannot be opened from the outside after it is closed. Remember to bring your mobile phone when the wind is strong on the balcony, otherwise the whole balcony will be a stage for performing and calling for help.

Super convenient location right smack in the Brisbane city area! Rooms are slightly dated but overall cleanliness was there. Great service as well! Would say there aren’t many new hotels in Brisbane, and definitely recommend this place if convenience is key

I forgot to book my breakfast and it is quite costly (A$42) for walk-in. I don’t know I have another choice till I reached Melbourne Novotel Hotel. Trip.com is very helpful that helps me contact the hotel and lower my charges in breakfast. It is too late to know that! I paid $42 for my breakfast. 😢

Very pleasant hotel situated in the heart of the city, boasting an excellent breakfast and incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. The room design is charming, and the added perk of a TV connected to Netflix enhances the stay. However, my experience was slightly tarnished when I discovered a large garbage bag left behind by housekeeping. Although they apologized for the oversight, it was a disappointment amidst an otherwise delightful stay.

JJ. WaqThe hotel is located in a nice area, and the check-in and check-out processes are quick. However, I was not very impressed with the room size and the limited amenities. Nearby hotels, which are cheaper, offer a lot more amenities such as a microwave, dishwasher, sink, clock, and charging ports. These small features can make a big difference in the overall experience.
FFoLdia RamanCertainly! Here's a feedback review for your stay at Hotel X Brisbane Fortitude Valley, Vignette Collection:
”I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel X Brisbane Fortitude Valley, Vignette Collection, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. Every aspect of my stay was truly exceptional.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met, and they were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. Their dedication to making my stay comfortable and enjoyable was evident, and I truly appreciated their hospitality. I would rate the service a solid 5/5 for excellence.
Facilities:
The hotel's facilities were top-notch. The cleanliness and maintenance of the property were impeccable, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and spotlessly clean, providing a relaxing haven after a day of exploring the city. The amenities available, from the fitness center to the pool area, were fantastic, and I took full advantage of them during my stay. It's evident that the hotel takes great pride in maintaining its facilities at a high standard. Another 5/5 for excellence here.
Overall, my experience at Hotel X Brisbane Fortitude Valley, Vignette Collection, was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of excellent service, pristine facilities, and delightful dining made my stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brisbane, and I look forward to returning in the future.”
I hope this review captures your positive experience at the hotel!
AAnonymous UserThe room rate is cheap. I booked a cheaper hotel because I had to get up early to catch the flight. The only drawback was that I was given a disabled room on the lower floor. I had to get up early the next day so I didn't ask for a room change. The floor was high and I could smell the fumes from the restaurant downstairs. I recommend booking a room on a higher floor.
PPingan2005The hotel is not bad, send the child to the University of Queensland, take a taxi to the school for 20 Australian dollars, it is a little problem to stay, Ctrip service is very good, and later solved,
VVentraseeThis hotel has a good location. Approximately 3 minute walk from tarin station. We booked the high floor balcony room for a night stay and it was good! The view from the balcony is fantastic. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The staff are great and accommodating. The shower has good pressure. The shower hose is too high, good for tall people. However, the parking area is terrible. Overall, it is great!
AAnonymous UserThe room is spacious and comfortable, the bed is of moderate firmness and softness, making it a comfortable sleep. The location of the apartment is a bit far from the main urban attractions. If you don't have a car, you need to take a bus to get there. However, there are also good views by the nearby river, which is only a 10-minute walk away.
GGuest UserOnly 9 minutes from airport, clean, cosy, welcoming, quality - with pool access and nice hair shampoo and conditioner products, with 2 handy take away options within walking distance. Perfect for night before flight!
GGuest UserPretty good apartment but I wish there was at least a mini fridge, it's not accommodating for buying food or even drinks and keeping It cold it seems like they'd rather you buy food elsewhere and not have anywhere to keep it other than that it was good
JJarrodRThe room was nice and clean. Basic. Price was decent for a quick one night stay so I could run off to the airport at 4am the next morning. Room is very basic. But decent quality bedding for sure.
