Hotels Near Jeanneke-Pis in Brussels

I booked this hotel at the last minute for a short trip to Brussels for an event.I arrived at night time so it took a while to get my bearings from De Bruckere metro station. I arrived tired and hungry so once I checked in,I got a quick shower to freshen up. Booked a single room (bed was slightly bigger than a single). Okay size for the time I was there. It had a patio door so could go outside if you smoke. Bathroom small but for what I needed perfect. There was even a hairdryer which was needed as my trousers had been washed before ai left home and were a bit damp and also for drying hair on the Sunday morning. A safe was in the room and a colour TV with a desk and chair. Foodwise,the information in the hotel booklet in the room needs to be updated as it stated breakfast was on the 7th floor. It wasn't it was on the ground floor then you had to go down a couple of lots of stairs so bear this in mind if wanting to eat breakfast in the hotel especially if disabled or you have mobility issues.Breakfast was scrambled egg,bacon,mushrooms,baked beans if you wanted a hot option. There was also a waffle machine,toast,cereals,yogurt,fruit and pastries with water,fruit juice and two hot drinks makers for tea,coggee and hot chocolate. Food was ok for setting me up for the rest of the day. There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby selling a variety of different cuisines however the friterie a few doors up seemed to always be busy. Location wise about 6 minutes walk to the Grand Place and about 8-10 minutes to the Mannequin Pis. In the other direction about the same to the Place de Monnaie which has lots of shops like Uniqlo,Foot Locket,Primark,Decathlon etc. There is a Dunkin Donuts however there is only seating on the upstairs level and there is no lift. Found using the Beurs metro either no 4 or 10 useful for if getting the Eurostar from Brussels. Staff helpful as was able to leave my bags in the left luggage room whilst sightseeing on last day and helped with directions to get to South-Midi station. Only complaints if you can call them that are,lack of kettle in room for making a tea or coffee (much needed after a long journey),decoration in room needs a refresh as paint work chipped and looks like it has seen better days same with corridors away from hotel lobby.

The front desk staff was very accommodating and helpful. They were able to understand my poor English and make sure the problem was resolved. I think some people find it annoying to hear other people talking. Also, the facilities are not new, so the floors make noise when you walk, and the doors are thin, so the sound echoes from the hallway to the rooms. If you can tolerate that, it's not a big deal.

Location is great apart from the nearby construction. Amenities are not that good, I was expecting to at least have some basic things in the room. Even Airbnb’s have some “coffee corner” with a few utensils and cups. There wasn’t even slippers to wear inside the room. Friendly stuff, always there to help out.

When I booked, I thought it was the NH that was closer to the Central Train Station. The front desk told me that I needed to walk 5 minutes longer, but it was still very close. The hotel room was well-equipped, with a coffee machine and a comfortable bed. The front desk staff was very friendly and enthusiastically recommended nearby restaurants.

The location of the hotel is simply great, right in the city center and less than 100 meters from the Grand Place in Brussels. We took the train from Luxembourg and got off at the Central Station. It is less than 50 meters away from the hotel. The location is excellent.

One stone away from Grand Place. A lot of eateries and very center and Was able to Visit what I wanted to see in Brussels. The hotel itself screams history and art. The very detail of every corner of the entire hotel tells a story. We even met the very humble and nice owner. All staff was also nice and gives us a welcoming vibe. Will definitely come back again. Breakfast was decent nonetheless hope can add an egg to the meal :) No complaints at all! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Having to change my travel plans last minute was a challenge but I'm glad to have had the opportunity to stay at the Warwick in Brussels. The check in was seamless and the concierge staff was welcoming with the whole check in process. The only thing that was off was the entertainment system that wasn't plugged in and setup in the room so I had to trouble shoot the tv

Good value for money. Staff was nice, and the place was overall clean (except the toilet area). The sad part was the bed wasn't made, there were no free towels ,and the checkout time was too early and the checkin time was too late (11 am and 3 pm respectively).

The hotel is located between the Central Station and the North Station. The decoration of the hotel lobby is very retro and exquisite. It is a small youth hostel. The nearest metro station, Rogier Line, is approximately six to seven minutes away, making the location safe and convenient. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the North Station and take the train to Luxembourg. It takes about ten minutes to walk to the city center. There is a bathroom in the 6-person room, which is very clean. There is no curtain on each bed, and no dedicated charging socket for each bed, but there is a row of charging mops on the floor, which is acceptable. Each person has a room card and each bed has a new bed sheet. You can store your luggage for free after checking out. After comparing the reviews of many youth hostels, this one has the best personality and would be a good choice for a short stay.

Very nice hotel meeting my 4* expectations, with nice and helpful staff, comfy beds and daily cleaning. No complains in this respect. We did not like area of the hotel, quite dirty with various strange types of people. But it is 5 min walk to Brussels Nord train station and few tram stations. 8/10 in conclusion, with less points just because of the area around the hotel, not hotel as such
