Butik Art Hotel

The service was great. Breakfast more than I expected Would certainly stay again

Ok Hotel is in a good location. Room was nice and clean. My only issue is that my room had no hot water in the evening and then in the morning had no water at all in the sink or shower. Front desk is limited hours so couldn't get help for it in the evening and then in the morning with limited time to get ready and leave, I decided I didn't want the hassle. I told staff at check out and they were familiar with the problem. They have an eco boiler and this happens. Staff were friendly.

The hotel is in a great location both to walk and for the city’s amazing public transportation (including that it was easy to get to from the airport, using the airport bus and then a connecting bus that drops you pretty close to the hotel). The wifi worked great and the room was cool. The shower had an actual door so the floor doesn’t get all wet, which is rare in Europe and I appreciate. The bathroom also has an additional, strong hair dryer. The room had bright lighting options that made it easy to work and read. The hotel staff was very friendly. While the hotel doesn’t have an elevator, I believe there are only three floors total so as long as you are able to go stairs it is not a problem. There is a nice breakfast layout with freshly made scrambled eggs. This was a convenient place to stay.

We just stayed 2 nights in this hotel during our citytrip in Budapest. I really loved the location as it’s walking distance to literraly everywhere. We like to walk and you could easilly walk to the main tourist sites. There’s also subway or tram station nearby if you prefer. We are a family of 4 and bought a 24h group ticket- very easy to use and this way you can use the tram to do some sightseeing to. Our room was clean and nice. In the lobby you also get free (good) coffee, which is nice. I really loved breakfast and the way it was served. More than enough food is given. One and only downside was the airco which wasn’t working. It kept blowing hot air and we tried every possible switch. In the end we stopped using it and opened a window - which might be a problem in the summer as the sun really made it jot inside. All in all very good stay. Great location. Nice breakfast & friendly reception. Good value for money.
