"We thought staying at Sen Retreat Takijiri was very good to start our Kumano Kodo journey. The Sen Retreat Chikatsuyu was even more impressive! The size of lodging with living room, the in unit washer and dryer, and prepared food and drink were superb! Especially, after a long journey in the mountain, the hot pot and cold beer were so comforting! We can see everything details has been taken care of. We strongly recommend our friends to stay at any Sen Retreat along Kumano Kodo hiking. We hope you continue to build up along the hiking route!"

"I thought it was a separate room, but the result was a whole house of space. I lived in a Japanese-style house, which was very novel~
There are supermarkets close before six o'clock nearby, where you can buy some simple ingredients and cook your own food, but the existing pots may not be too large (two people simply eat enough). There is no water dispenser, but you can boil your own water, and there are also tea bags and three-in-one coffee bags that can be brewed.
Very close to the bus station, very quiet after night, there is also a balcony outside the second floor room.
The fly in the ointment is that because it is located on the side of the mountain, it may be necessary to check whether there are small bugs before lying on the bed, and then it is better to sleep after processing."

"There are fewer restaurants near the hotel. You can go to the hot springs when you stay in the hotel. Although the facilities are very old, it is really comfortable to soak in the soup after hiking! ! The front desk does not speak English but the service attitude is very good, it is still very recommended"
