Reception staff were super kind and helpful. Was able to help us with weighing our bags and arranging taxis. Excellent room cleaning each day š with complimentary bottled water. Solid wifi too and sound proofed well, didnāt hear anyone else the whole 5 days I stayed. Location wise, a bus stop is right outside and short walk to subway, making Gamcheon village, Jalgachi market, Busan tower, Nampo, all super accessible. Airport only 30 minutes away via taxi for around 20,000 won.
Cafe and convenience store on the first floor and amazing bbq chicken and beer on 2nd. Also some good cafes and restaurants walking distance near by.
Would I stay here again? Yes if wanting to stay in the area. If I want to focus on Haeundae more I would perhaps choose somewhere closer to there. I think for first time visit, you can go wrong!

My family and I stayed at the hotel from 26 Dec to 28 Dec 2023 and upon checkout, the staff insisted that they had issues reversing my 200 000 krw deposit because I didn't use the same card. This is strange and confusing because I only used one credit card the whole time in Korea. I also used the same card to pay for the hotel booking upon check in. We stayed in other Lotte Hotels in Korea and compared to those hotels, our experience at Lotte Hotel Busan was not the best. During check-in, i had several questions for the staff assisting us but she told us curtly that she will explain this later. Perhaps it was a language issue but definitely rubbed me the wrong way. During our time using the pool, different lifeguards asked me on two separate occasions if my family had registered to use the pool -- we paid for the pool usage and received wristbands. They also hovered around my family quite a bit - prolly cos my husband's arm tattoo was showing under his shirt and my kids are rather loud (they are 3 and 6 fyi). We were also told by the staff to keep our 3 year old quiet. We understand that compared to perhaps other Korean children, our child can be quite loud. We tried our best to keep him quiet but he is just 3 and simply excited to be there and it was not so nice to feel like we were being watched all the time for our child.

I LOVED this hotel. It was so luxurious compared to the price. I wish all hotels were like this.
The location is great: a lot of public transport, lots of night life, a market, restaurants and (underground) shopping within walking distance. It took about 25-30 minutes from Busan Station to the hotel.
Japanese style toilet, shower (hand held & rain shower) had good water pressure and temperature. Bedside table with sockets right above it. Two chairs, a wardrobe (4 hangers), 2 shoe polish mitts, 2 small and 2 big towels. Convenience store right next to the reception. Washing room is 2000won for 2 hours, no matter what cycle (washing or drying), detergent is 500won. Gym is accessible with your room card.
I didn't like that the airco blew right on the bed, but you could easily set the temperature a bit higher if it bothered you.
Shilla Stay Haeundae is located in Haeundae, Busan, a landmark city representing Korea, and is about 3km away from Haeundae Station and 19km away from Gimhae International Airport, so you can choose and use various transportation methods.
With its superb view, Haeundae Beach, Haedong Yonggung Temple, Dongbaekseom Island, and Shinsegae Centum City are easily accessible, and international-scale festivals such as the Busan International Film Festival are held every year, so there are many things to enjoy. Bexco, the largest exhibition and convention center in Korea that hosts international exhibitions and conferences, is also close by, making it the best choice to meet both tourism and business.
I hope you will experience a break even in your busy daily life at Shilla Stay Haeundae, which gives satisfaction to both travelers and business travelers.

The hotel itself is beautiful and our room was very comfortable. Location is okay if youāre looking to be right next to the beach, but Busan is quite spread out so youāre still a bit far from big attractions like Yonggeung Temple or Gamcheon Culture Village.
HOWEVER, I would never stay here again simply because of the elevator. I think that there are too many people and too few elevators, so you have to wait easily 10 minutes to get anywhere. During checkout, youād have to wait half an hour or even more. Everyone is frustrated and impatient, but the building is so tall that many guests canāt even consider climbing stairs to get to or from their rooms. Especially since many people visit Busan for only a few days, it actually really feels like youāre losing time simply waiting for an elevator. Surely this is a safety violation? I never thought I could care about an elevator so much, and I know it sounds silly and spoiled at first, but it really was a massive inconvenience and you could tell everyone was upset by it š

Super convenient location at Haeundae! Just cross the road and it's Haeundae beach!

This is a decent hotel with a nice view.
The room was fairly clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was alright.

Great location, the beach is just a short walk away. The Haeundae market and main street with lots of restaurants and cafes is not too far. The subway station is at the end of that road, maybe about a 15 minute walk to the hotel. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel that goes to the popular temple, but be careful coming back, that route doesn't run all day and you may have to take a different bus back. The immediate area of the hotel has a convenience store a few doors down. The breakfast in the hotel was okay. The room was fine, clean.
I made a reservation for 9 people for a workshop and was surprised at how clean it was.
It was much wider and better than the picture.
I was able to rest comfortably for 2 days and 1 night thanks to the thorough care and consideration given to me so that I could get a good education.

I was debating between Gijang and Haeundae, and decided to go to Gijang, so I decided on Amukta Ananti. It's the same condition as when I went there 10 years ago. Early check-in is available from 1:30. Amenities have all been changed to soap type. It was a comfortable stay thanks to the soft bedding. If you go in the fall, you can make a reservation for around 240,000 won. A deluxe room with only one pool available. It was cold, so I didn't swim, but I think I'll swim next time. ć You can use the sauna for a separate fee.

KKBagzThe most convenient hotel I've stayed in in South Korea since it was just right next to Busan Station. The free skincare was a nice touch. The bed was really comfy. The free breakfast they served was simple but hearty & delicious. They had a different set every day we stayed but the vegetable porridge they served every day was very good.
GGuest Useramazing view, clean, new room, but there was only 1 big towels for 2 adults. thatās too strange. reception asked to pay for another one. crazy. the first hotel where we have faced such problem. thats not the service. moreover they donāt clean room every day.
breakfast was average. nothing special.
Kkuniwo68It is an old hotel with facilities. Amenities are minimal and no toothbrush is attached. There is no curtain in the bathtub and if you shower, the floor will be flooded. You can't use the bath mat in this state. It may be good to have a beach sandal for bathing. The hot water does not come out easily and if it doesn't flow for about 20 minutes, it won't get hot. There was a hot pot on the table, but it was troubled that the code was short, so it did not reach the outlet, put the pot on the chair, and boiled the hot water. I wrote only bad things, but the front desk of the hotel was kind and the room was large enough. The location is also close to the subway station and it is a good hotel enough if you don't even expect excessively.
AAnonymous UserIt is a walking distance away from the metro but close to the beach. Room is a bit small as we canāt leave both luggages open. I have to rearrange the furniture in order to put it down.
GGuest UserThe hotel was located in the mountains, so it was a pleasant and quiet atmosphere.
The facilities were clean and nice
On the other hand, access by public transportation is somewhat inconvenient.
GGuest UserThe location is good as it is very close walking distance to shopping streets and the price is affordable. Room is equipped with a smart TV. I did not need to use my travel adaptor as well. Basic toiletries available. However, the bath towel is in face towel size. Clothes hanging area is on top/in front of the dresser. Things to note if staying here. Hotel is located upslope from the streets. (relatively steep) Most of the times (like a 9 out of 10), I was unable to book a taxi from my hotel due to the kakao taxi app prompting that cars cannot enter my area (they will outline the roads on the app to show the roads that cars cannot enter).I had to walk some distance out to another place to book a taxi. However, there was no restrictions to drop off at this address but many times, the driver will also drop me somewhere further away to walk in. Both the guy & lady (seems like lady boss) receptionists seems enthusiastic for a normal conversation but can become rude when we enquire or request for help. I had difficulty switching on the aircon when I first checked in and called for help. They refused to come and help and the instructions was vague as all I can understand was āthe switch is below the TVā. I later found out that it is common for aircon switch to be on the TV remote controller in Korea after I checked in to another hotel. It was after the third call when we flared up that someone came to help. But the help was of course also a rude one. Another thing to note is that they only give one access card and this access card is also the only card that manages the power in the room. If you insert another card in the slot for power, they will switch off your electricity after a while. This means you will not be able to probably sleep/shower in the room if your partner goes out since you will have to be the one to open the door, unless you can stay in the room without any power. You will also not be able to charge your phones/power banks etc while you are out and the refrigeration will also be off. The receptionist have called us via room phone and scolded us for putting a foreign card in. I think this is upsetting as we usually have more than one card in other hotels. The other hotel that I booked in Seoul even had a ready card slotted in for power and we still had 2 cards for access. Another downside: There was some form of leak from toilet bowl area and I cannot make out where its from. There will be a typical pee stench after awhile. Both the automatic bidets and manual bidets did not work in my toilet. I am not sure if this only happens in my room thus this is just for reference. Otherwise my toilet was huge and the water jet was strong. Do note that they allow early check in but it is chargeable. When I reached 2 hours earlier, I was told that their hotel does not have early check in. After asking further, they told me to pay 20,000 won if I want to check in early and I got my room immediately. I would have preferred if they told me from the start that early check in is possible for a fee.
GGuest UserWe recently stayed at the Almond Hotel for 2 nights and had a mixed experience.
The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the station and just a short walk to several bus stops. This made it easy to explore the city and get around. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, so finding a place to eat or grab a coffee was never an issue. In terms of location and accessibility, the hotel definitely scores high.
The price of the room was reasonable, especially compared to other hotels in the surrounding area. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room, which had an open bathroom floor plan. The bathtub was a good size, comfortably fitting two people, which was a nice touch for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing.
BUT, there was one major drawback that significantly impacted our stayāthe plumbing system. We were in room 202, and the noise from the plumbing was incredibly annoying. You could clearly hear when people in the adjoining rooms were showering or draining their bathtubs, which was quite disruptive. But the worst part was the smell. The bathroom sewer emitted a foul odour that was very unpleasant, making the bathroom area, including the shower, quite unbearable at times. This morning, while I was showering, the stench was particularly strong, making the experience even more unpleasant.
While the hotel has some great features, like its location, room size, and reasonable pricing, the issues with the plumbing and the unpleasant smell really detracted from our overall experience. Because of this, I wouldnāt recommend staying here again. The inconvenience and discomfort caused by the plumbing problems outweigh the benefits, unfortunately. If you're considering staying here, you might want to check if these issues have been resolved before booking.

GGuest UserThe room is big and ok. It's come with King size bed. The bed is solid hard which makes your body ache when wake up, and not comfortable at all. The is jacuzzi provided but not functional and the tub is leaking.
The hotel not provided towel, already ask the staff but they said they only give face towel. The microwave located at the ground floor of the hotel. There is no connection lift to the parking. The lift is very dangerous for the kids, by baby hands almost got stuck when she tried to enter the lift, its suddenly close.
