Facilities: The hotel boasts a rich historical ambiance, having served as a filming location for the TV series 'A Lifelong Journey.' Cleanliness: Impeccably clean, which was very reassuring. Environment: Nestled in a forest, staying here truly feels like being within a scenic area. Service: The service was excellent – thoughtful and incredibly attentive to every detail. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Changchun; you're sure to have a truly distinctive experience.

Living up to State Guesthouse standards, the hotel boasts an excellent environment. The rooms are spacious, offering beautiful views from the window, and you can even spot small animals nearby. The breakfast spread was extensive. Since we didn't feel like venturing out, we had lunch at the hotel, and the chef's culinary skills were impressive.

Absolutely love this State Guesthouse! It boasts a sprawling garden that feels like a forest, and they thoughtfully provide complimentary shuttle carts for exploring the extensive grounds. The rooms are spacious, neat, and impeccably clean. The service is excellent. A special shout-out to the Lobby Manager and front desk staff on duty on September 7th; their attentive and professional service made me feel completely at home. I've already recommended it to friends planning a trip to Changchun.

The quality, as always expected from a state guesthouse, is consistently excellent. I was particularly impressed by the grandeur of Nanhu Hotel and its truly exceptional surroundings. The location is superb, right by Nanhu Park, and very close to attractions like the Changchun Film Studio Former Site, 'Zhe You Shan' (This Mountain), and bus route 54. Plus, there's a Tesla Supercharger conveniently located at Changchun SKP Liwang Plaza. Its history as a filming location for the popular TV series 'A Lifelong Journey' further adds to its unique charm. It’s perfect for a relaxing getaway with elderly family members. The service was impeccable, though the main building's interior is a bit dated. The Chaoyang wing was fully booked this time, so I'll try for Building 7 on my next visit.

The rooms feature high ceilings. The staff were exceptionally diligent and attentive, truly embodying their excellent service tradition. They promptly delivered water and extra bedding, and room cleaning was quick and efficient, clearly demonstrating the high standards of a state guesthouse. The hotel grounds boast extensive greenery, including a beautiful lake near Building 11, which is perfect for a morning stroll and photography.

Poor value for money. The rooms were very basic, more like a guesthouse, though the overall setting was lovely, situated in a garden. We were checked in by a man from the marketing department who seemed deliberately unaccommodating towards senior guests. He initially claimed there were no twin rooms available upstairs, so we had no choice but to accept a ground floor room. After spending a long time looking at the computer, he assigned us room 168, which was tucked away very far inside. Not only was it a long walk to get there, but the room also had an unpleasant odor. We were already exhausted from our journey, and it felt like he was deliberately trying to make things difficult for us. We had to walk all the way back to the front desk to ask why he had assigned us such a distant room. He seemed flustered, glanced at his computer, and within seconds, magically found a closer room, 108. It was clear he could have made proper arrangements from the start, but he chose to create unnecessary trouble. I truly don't understand people like that. Everywhere else we've traveled, upon seeing our age, we've always been given conveniently located rooms. I didn't give zero for service because the lobby manager always greeted us with a smile when we passed through, and after we left, someone called to ask for our feedback. However, someone like him has no business being in a customer-facing role; he'd be better off as a cleaner.
