Suneta Hostel Chiang Mai Reviews

Located in 5 mins walking distance from Tha Phae gate with some markets nearby. The staff was accomodating and friendly. The room was clean and tidy. There was an aircon inside. Capsule was well-organised with your own big locker (enough space for backpack 35-40L + 2 small carrybags). Bedsheets were clean as well. Mattress was soft and comfy. They also offer a normal blanket (not just the second linen) and towel. It was quiet in the room. As for common bath and toilets (separate) it was 2 cabins of each on each floor for at least 3 rooms and it was also clean. But there was no any queue to access there. There was a hot water, shampoo/shower gel in baths and toilet paper in toilets as well. Breakfast was good and rich: different kinds of cooked eggs (for choosing only 1 kind), tea/coffee, toasts with some butter, different toppings, vegetables as like cherry-tomatos, cucumber and carrot slices watermelon, corn flakes with milk also. The internet connection was stable as well.

This place is in good area if you want to walk or look around Thapae Gate. The 8-bed room is clean. The owner is nice and friendly.

I have stayed here many times, It’s a great place for solo travelers with convenient transportation. I will definitely stay here again next time. 10 trips to Chiang Mai are never enough!

One one the best place to stay if you like to walking around the town chill in at cafe and have some food in chiangmai market, the hat was very friendly also the cat! Room was lovely cozy would like to stay here again!

The location is good, close to TaPrae walking street. Good living room, we can play bordgame during rest time. The room and private bath room is nice.

Private rooms are pretty small, there will be spot either for you or for your luggage. Clean, conveniently located, great staff. It was nice to get some work done downstairs during rain. Wifi's not present on 3d floor, there are several spots with matching names but none was stable enough to hang for at least 10 mins. Main disadvantage of the private room was the AC - you can turn yours off, but you can't do so with the adjacent rooms, and they are very, VERY loud. Incredibly loud. Didn't have an hour of good sleep during a 2-night stay here. This should be different when renting mixed 10 bed room or studio, though.

Nearly perfect only if the air conditional is colder and the water heater was working. Other than that, I’m very satisfied

Really loved my stay here- they give you a towel for free which is always super appreciated! It was quite a chill hostel, seemed like lots of people who were working while traveling or just keeping to themselves- not a super social vibe. Really really appreciated the breakfast in the morning- they make you eggs to order! Thought this was an excellent perk- really really good value for the price. Has all the amenities you would need, and can help book tours. Super close to the square, location is great. Bed was comfy and big- liked the built in locker in your bed area as well, nice for keeping your belongings close by. Would definitely recommend you stay here if you’re wanting a really nice hostel with a calm vibe.

Nice staff, they tried hard to answer customers’ questions although language barrier in some cases I saw. However, I would suggest to improve the room AC, the utensil and overall environment of the hostel.

Affordable! You can get your private room with a shared bathroom and breakfast included. The night staff, Jay, is very nice, friendly, and helpful. Lastly, you will have cat companions throughout your stay!
