Prime location. Easy to walk around to the main sights. The view from the terrace was amazing as well. I'll definitely stay here again.

Nice clean hostel. Very good location right next to Xiaoshizi metro station. One staff member spoke English which was helpful. Free luggage storage allowed before check-in and after check-out.
Spacious room with daily cleaning (forgot to take a picture). Each person is given a very tall locker with 2 shelves. The bottom shelf can fit a large suitcase (mine was 26 inches) and just fit.
Also spotted 3 cats that are residents! They were very friendly.
Make sure you check the air conditioning/heater settings before sleeping. One of my dorm mates set the heater at 25 degrees and my bed (upper bunk) felt like a sauna. You can change the controls so that it’s air conditioning instead of a heater and choose the specific temperature

This yummy hill youth hostel is one of the overall hostels, which is strategically located in Chongqing city centre. The staff here is so friendly, honest and helpful when i ask them to come personally to the Xiaoshizi metro Exit 9 to guide me to the hostel. I gave an old copy of the Lonely planet travel guide China in English to the hostel for foreign travellers to read. I highly recommend this hostel because it's located on the 9th floor where you have a beautiful garden on this floor which makes this hostel a 5 stars rated hotel. In fact , previously there was a swimming pool here but now due to no maintenance, the pool remained closed and not usable.

This hostel has a great location, and I could walk to most of the famous places. The staff was friendly and nice. I stayed in a private room, but the only downside was the bad smell from the shower curtain. Other than that, it's a great place to start your Chongqing trip.

Pretty good location as all the food and everything else is around the area. One thing in particular which I didn't like was that the space is not great for socialising. The front desk promised activities but there weren't any unfortunately. More suited for business travellers.
This photo is of the shower door in my 6-person dorm. The door was about to collapse and there's always a gap in between, which irks me because of privacy concerns

I booked 8 beds female dorm and the room is clean, comfy, and spacious!
Bed, bedding, pillow are all amazing, solid wooden bed frame - no sound.
Great window view too but could hear a little noise from the street - the hostel provides earplugs for free! Also complimentary clean towel, bottled water, indoor slippers.
The hostel organise lunch & dinner & drinking event, can ask front staffs for more info. Lunch was great!
There’re about 4 cats and they’re super chill. Doesn’t smell at all.
Staffs are super helpful, overall many lovely people.
Location : take Exit 9 of Xiaoshizi station. Turn right and walk all the way towards a Chinese bank, 9th floor of XinChongQing apartment (新重庆公寓）。

Yo, I'm not cap, this hostel experience more than a sleep spot, The crew introduce whole facilities how it works, and specially, they have a white purely cat, and I'm not even trolling, because I was wearing white suite, the cat literally going forward me says "meow meow", surrounded my shoes, even I was in bathroom, it just wait outside, just so welcome

Good location, but a bit hard to find if you’re new to Chinese building labels

All in all it was pretty average hostel
No disappointment, but nothing special either
They’ve got all amenities and a washing machine/dryer
Be aware that they’ve got free roaming cats
All friendly and chill, but important information for allergic people
And it did smell like cat in the room I stayed in
Maybe not all of them
Staff was super friendly and helpful
