Hotels in Jiefangbei Area/Hong Ya Dong, Chongqing

Very good stay in this hotel. Warm welcome, the staff is very helpful and we were upgraded upon arrival. The room was clean and cleaned every day, the bed comfortable and the sublime view of the river was Chongqing: very Instagrammable. Well located and close to Jiefanbei, Hongya Cave and Shibati. The metro is a 2-minute walk and several shops are opposite the hotel. In addition, the hotel is located on a rather quiet street compared to the rest of the city.

Amazing stay! The location in Jiefangbei was super convenient, right in the middle of everything. The view from my room was absolutely stunning, especially at night with all the city lights. The front desk staff were the best, super friendly, always helpful, and even gave me their contact info so I could reach out if I had questions. One day they even helped wash my clothes, which was such a nice surprise. Overall, it was a really comfortable and easy stay. Great location, beautiful view, and amazing service. I’d definitely book here again!

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and fuss-free. They are very quick in responding on WeChat and are attentive to our needs/requirements. The room is spacious for 4 pax with ample room of luggage and walking space. Cleanliness is of top notch. The hotel location is great as it is easily accessible and walking distance to the city area, eateries, convenient stores and popular tourist attractions. There’s even a small convenient store directly at the hotel lobby. Being located on 27th floor allowed us to have a view of the river and the city lights.

Saiya is an excellent choice if you’re looking to explore Chongqing. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and a great shower—hot or cold water with strong pressure. There was a teapot and tea bags provided, but no coffee. The staff communicated through WeChat and were very responsive. They provided helpful guidance for everything I needed. There’s no self-service laundry for guests, but you can drop your clothes off at the reception on level 24, and they’ll return them the same day. I stayed for 5 days and was very happy with the service—housekeeping cleaned the room daily and did an awesome job. The only downside was the elevators. The building has many establishments but only three lifts, so the wait can be frustrating. Just be prepared for that. Otherwise, my stay was great, and I would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel in a fantastic location! Public transport is just a 1-minute walk from the hotel, making it very convenient to get around. The view from the room was beautiful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel

1) This hotel is located right behind 洪崖洞 with great views of the river from the lobby, which is also on the 15th floor. There’s a big reception and cafe area with free coffee voucher with three nights’ stay. 2) The reception and cleaning staff also provided good service. 3) The room is also comfortable with side view of 朝天门 and well equipped with useful little things like shower gel and ear plugs etc. Hot water for showering also comes quickly. There’s also free laundry & dryer service, but you need to hang most of the clothes in your room to dry them completely. And a small gym to work out at. 4) Car hailing pickup at the lobby is convenient and it’s walking distance from 小什字 and 临江门 light rail stations

The environment and service were amazing! It was so hot that afternoon, we couldn't find the hotel and called to ask! The staff even came down to pick us up. 😭 The staff was very helpful. The room was very clean and looked brand new! The next day, the staff even asked if we wanted housekeeping! Such a gentle lady! The view from upstairs was great too! It was very quiet at night! Not noisy!

Very nice stay. The hotel is located in the center- just 1 min by walk from the Metro Station. Our room had an outstanding views! The room was very clean (thanks to Coco and Jingjing - everyday they did a perfect job!). Staff and the reception was friendly and welcoming, they answered all of our questions. It could have been used a greater care for the details- the shower leaked into the room, the tank tap was twisted, the pool was shallow and cold (and the room was air conditioning). But in general our stay was very very pleasant! I recommend!

Good location, right in front of the MRT station. Opposite is a mall and good tea shop. In the middle of tourist attractions that all can walk distance . Room has nice view of other high rise buildings. Only disadvantage is the elevator take long time .

Superb location, like literally walking distance to Jiefangbei pedestrian street, Hongyadong and the art museum. The hotel building surrounded with great food options nearby. Cost effective if you just need a place to rest comfortably and enjoy the cyberpunk city of Chongqing!
