Find the Cheap Villeurbanne Hotels

I was travelling for work. This hotel was in a very convenient location. You can catch a tram or a bus to the central or to a metro stop that take you to the central (if you want to be on a faster route). However, you can also just walk to the metro stop which is about 10-15 mins walk. It is also in a short walking distance to a beautiful park with a free entrance ”zoo”. It's a great place to go for a picnic lunch. The only thing is it is not close to a big supermarket although you can still get some sort of groceries nearby. I didn't explore the other facilities in the hotel nor did I tried their breakfast and other meals. So, I can't comment on those.

The customer service attitude is very good, but the room does not have a kettle, the window is open without screens, and the house is full of bugs.

On arrival my room was dirty and not ready, I had to change room. The rooms are tired and wood rot on the window frames. Room smelled slightly feisty. Double bed was two singles pushed together. Bath runs extremely slowly so takes over 30 minutes to run. Location was good and close to a main metro station.

Mercure chain of hotels always seem to be a little way from the city centre, was a bit of a walk to the old town from hotel tram stop was right outside which was very handy. Boulangeries food places were dotted around close the the hotel so that was a bonus. The reception area was under renovation which made getting into the hotel a bit of a mission had to ring and get a code etc for the car parking. Beds very comfy which was great for a Mercure. Was generally a good choice

Apartment hotel conveniently located near all the comforts (shops, metro) with the possibility of putting the vehicle to parking for €9/day. Correct price of the room at 75€/night, correct cleanliness but old facilities that would deserve a small refreshment, equipment level is summary, no boiler, Only 2 plate earliers and 1 roll of paper WC but the staff at the reception is comprehensive and at the listening in this kind of situation. Les murs sont assez mal insolés (bruit de l'ascenseur par exemple) et il est préférable de demander une chambre avec vue jardin ou cour pour être plus calme, à préciser lors de la réservation bien que cela n'ait pas été accordé dans mon cas. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. In short, this is not the comfort of a hotel 5* but the price/quality ratio remains correct 👍🏼 Unlike other opinions I did not feel insecure whether in the hotel apartment or in the streets around.

Les hôtels Ibis sont sans surprise. Fonctionnels. confort de la literie, isolation parfaite. Celui-là, situé en pleine est un des rares hôtels à posséder un parking privé et payant (nombre de places réduites, réservez). Seul bémol : pas de restaurant sauf pour le petit déjeuner. Dommage. Mais le quartier propose de quoi se restaurer sans problème.

We were looking for a safe and secure hotel that was not to expensive close to the railway station as we had a 6.30am train trip the next morning. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a kitchenette and a bathroom. All of which were very clean. Would definitely recommend for an overnight stay.
