Find the Cheap Wigginton Hotels

Just left this little gem, really could not fault it. Everything you need right there even a bottle opener near the pod door. Very tranquil all the amentities you need and York centre only 4 miles away with a local taxi firm or nearby bus stop to take you in. The pods are spacious clean beds so so comfy we wish we had booked a week just for the great nights sleep. Barbeque facilities if you need to borrow and a little room with a fridge microwave etc if needed. Everything at your fingertips left feeling refreshed content and fulfilled with our stay , it really is the perfect little get away bless you little hide xx

Facilities: The room is relatively large, the bed and pillows are quite comfortable Service: Hotel staff are friendly Environment: The hotel is located on a large green area, which is very eye-catching. Hygiene: very good. Neat and clean. special service: 1. The hotel provides free parking, which is a service that few hotels in the UK can provide, and parking is usually paid for. so nice 👍 2. The hotel has a bar and restaurant, which is convenient for guests.

Great location outside of York city centre and very easy access from main roads. There is a park and ride service about half a mile down the road which is highly recommended as parking in York can be difficult and expensive. Park and ride journey time is around ten minutes and drops you off close to the Shambles area of town. The accommodation was basic but clean. Bed was comfortable, Shower was very powerful and plenty of towels. Large screen TV. Breakfast was limited but very nice and set us up for the day. The only downside about the accommodation was that it would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room to keep water etc, there was plenty of space to have one. Also it would have been nice to have had a small sofa to watch tv in the evenings as the two desk chairs were not comfortable to sit on for any length of time. Also the walls were very thin as other room noise even conversations could be heard. There is also a Toby Inn next door which does really nice food and various ales.

We booked as we visited family and it was a bank holiday , and it happened to be race weekend - so it was the only place that wasn’t charging a crazy amount. For that reason I can’t knock the very basic, small and outdated room. But the cleanliness was appalling! The give away should have been when we were shown the room and the host actually asked my partner to remove the previous guests luggage for her!!!! There was mould, stains on the bed, grime in the shower, grime in the fridge - it was about as bad as I’ve seen. Only giving 1 star for location.

British-style Victorian building, convenient location, 10 minutes walk to the old city, parking in the courtyard; the room is newly renovated, clean, warm, very stylish, advanced facilities, with electric curtains/hot shower and bathtub; smart APP can order food, adjust room temperature, etc. The daily breakfast is rich and delicious, and the coffee drink machine can be used by yourself. Staff Tony/ Dianna courteous and thoughtful. Perfect guest house, highly recommended

We could check in from 2pm we arrived 2pm, we was in ground floor walked in only to find the bathroom had dirty used towels on the floor, the carpet had to be vacumed in what was the fastest time I've ever seen a vacume been used, room was basic with te/coffee facilities & a free bottle of water each, as you do you check where the plugs are, bedside lamp at either side but only 1 (right) had a power point, bathroom has a connecting door to another room the occupants must of been smoking as our bathroom stank of cigarette smoke as it was coming through under the adjoining door, even though I closed the bathroom door I could smell it in our room, not nice at all, love the grey colour but furniture needs to be either changed,painted or spruced up somehow, the socket nxt to the wardrobe is loose, the handle on the bathroom door is also loose, the shower head is in desperate need of a descale, & there is black mould in the shower cubicle, the wallpaper on the ceiling is coming off, would I stay again, don't think I would unless it was revamped & the smoking stopped,
