Very cosy hotel with friendly and helpful staff in a central location. Daily cleaning of rooms is on request only. My room faced a courtyard from which sounds of a nearby nightclub and (what seemed like) air conditioning machinery was audible when window was open, do beware. No gym or pool, but plenty of walking opportunities, with a supermarket directly opposite, numerous restaurants, the Stroget pedestrian shopping street. Copenhagen is small and compact, and all major sights are within easy walking distance. The main train station is 8 minutes walk from the hotel. Would gladly stay here again.

Scandic Copenhagen is certainly at the top of the quality you can expect from a hotel. If you are looking for details/nice-to-have: The reception could have been a little more engaged when we had questions. Minibar/fridge in the room would be nice. Poor options for connecting your own media to the TV. Missed the standard fried egg at breakfast. This is details which a lot of hotels don't have, so we didn't expect it. Cleaning must be ordered at reception, which I think is a nice solution - but I would prefered a more digital solution. If we had stayed longer, I would be nice to ”order” towels or laundry/pick up in the hallway.

less than a 10 minute walk from the Kongens Nytorv metro station {direct from the airport 36dkr). Check in smooth, lady on reception, excellent, friendly and informative. Room was ready, not much of a view but was comfortable, bed was excellent, shower was powerful and refreshing (watch out for flooding the bathroom floor) TV, kettle, water. Breakfast, wow. The best scrambled eggs ever.. you could have boiled or an omelette, apart from the excellent cooked food, there was a cold table, salmon, vegetables, yoghurt, fruit. freshly cooked bread and pastries. Location, I think everyone will say it is in the best location for everything, it is. 20 minute walk to Tivoli gardens or the botaniclal gardens and butterfly park. Be warned it will take longer as there are many distractions on the way. Nyhavn is just around the corner (5 minutes) with plenty of bars and restaraunts and starting points for canal cruise and hop off bus. 20 minutes to Christiania (well worth a vist). would i stay again? yep, no problem. Excellent hotel, thank you. oh, they also have bicycles available if you wish to go a little further afield.
Scandic Palace Hotel

The hotel not only does not provide toothpaste, toothbrush and slippers, but also requires an appointment one day in advance for room cleaning, otherwise they will not enter the room. Even if they clean, it is ”light” cleaning. The front desk said that it is a government regulation, and all Nordic countries, even five-star hotels, are like this. The so-called environmental protection, carbon reduction, and sustainable development. This is not friendly enough for guests who stay for many days. I think it is a bit too much. In addition to the location advantage and the friendly service staff, there is nothing else about the hotel. As for the quality, it is probably the peak tourist season. I prepaid the hotel fee, but found that the room fee was deducted from the card the next day after checking out. I immediately called and they immediately admitted that the deduction was wrong and would refund me immediately, which would be credited to my account in about 3-4 days. Unexpectedly, I looked at the bank records again and found that another amount was deducted! I had to call again, and another front desk clerk advised me not to be angry. The attitude is really great, but the level is too poor. Fortunately, the money was refunded, and there was no danger.

I arrived at the hotel in the morning but they prepared a room earlier than check-in time. I found bedbugs in the first room, so the score is law… but hotel staffs were really nice and they gave me a new room😊

It’s first visit to Copenhagen for my husband and I, I booked standard room with water view for the night before cruise holiday, were very happy with the whole experience. The room was spacious with two large and comfortable beds. All stuff were approachable, friendly and professional. The breakfast selection was excellent, fresh and tasty. We had burgers for lunch which was really yummy. Furnitures were slightly dated but all in good condition and clean.
