We had an amazing stay at The Funny Lion -Coron The staff were warm and welcoming special thank you to JEM and Philip of concierge who tours us the facilities, the rooms were immaculate, and the amenities were top-notch. The breakfast spread was incredible too! Highly recommend."

They have nice Swimming Pool as well as Jacuzi.
They have roof top bar & Pizza
another positive is that this is 1st hotel when you are coming Airport so it is convenient.
Now when paying such top rates we expected free airport transfer but they charge 2000 Peso for private transfer from airport to hotel.
When you are charging 7999 peso per night , bare minimum you can do is offer free airport transfer
They did not offer us any cheaper option of shared van transfer from airport to hotel.
Therefore I am giving them rating of 1 out of 5.
on our way back from hotel to airport they offerred us Peso 250 per pax shared van option.

Great place about 5 minutes from Coron town, booked all trips with hotel lobby the beach escape one was brilliant the ultimate Coron tour one would bother with again.

Locationwise it is not in the town
tricyles are available till 8:00 PM to go to down at reasonable price.
Vegeterian options are very limited during breakfast & lunch & dinner.
I guess this would be true for any hotel in Coron, so this cannot be taken as negative
We requested for sautyed vegetables during breakfast & they gladed provided.
Staff is very very responsive & helpful.

A 10/10 Experience!
The hotel and the staff were absolutely incredible from the very first moment. They helped us with everything we needed, remembered our names and preferences, and made us feel truly special. It was a real 5-star experience. Every day, a new surprise awaited us in the room, adding an extra touch to our stay.
My only regret is not booking their hotel in El Nido as well.

The Funny Lion is an absolute gem in Coron! From the warm hospitality to the beautifully designed rooms, everything about our stay was exceptional. The rooftop jacuzzi and pool offer breathtaking sunset views, and the serene ambiance makes it a perfect retreat. The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious, with a great mix of local and international options. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience. Ideal location, fantastic service, and a peaceful atmosphere—highly recommend for anyone visiting Coron!
