Bounce Beach Resort and Spa

We booked a villa expecting a peaceful beach resort experience, but unfortunately, it was the opposite. The villa was extremely noisy all night due to its location directly next to Da Nang’s container port. Constant sounds from trucks, sirens, and loading operations made it impossible to sleep. Upon check-in, our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the hairdryer didn’t work, and there were multiple small issues in the bathroom, which we only discovered late at night. Cleanliness was below standard – 2/5 at best. The property is not “new” as advertised on some booking platforms (e.g. Agoda). The entire resort is worn-down, and the staff lacked training and professionalism – service deserves a 1/5 rating. Also, there is no breakfast buffet, despite being listed on several sites. Only a limited à la carte selection is offered, and service is slow. One shocking discovery: day guests (non-hotel visitors) are treated better than actual hotel guests. We tested this by dining without mentioning our room – and were suddenly greeted with smiles and excellent service, unlike what we experienced as hotel guests. Verdict: This is not a resort experience. Noisy, outdated, and inconsistent. We cannot recommend staying here.
